On the other hand, you got your pal, Yosuke who know too well that you might go after Adachi but still let you go alone, taking the risk of dying. The more I play P4 the more I feel The bad guy is not that bad, vice versa. ( I played P4 for more than 6y btw)
He didn't shoot narukami because he is actually a coward that doesn't have the guts to directly murder someone. If you think about it both instances of his victims he didn't directly kill them. He simply put them in a situation where they would die.

Iirc, unlike the Investigation Team or Namatame, Adachi pretty much has free reign over the TV World. Shadows ignore him, and he can apparently manipulate his own Shadow and that's what teleports. He explains it in the initial confrontation with the IT. The real Adachi is at the edge of Magatsu-Inaba, and what they talk to is a shadow/illusion (Most likely both) that he sent for them.
NGL as much as I like the kid, Adachi should have really been given the Tower social link. His whole character fits it a lot better than just giving him some random new bullshit
Is it nesesary to compleet adachy s link up to level 6 to get the true ending? I dont care for the hunger arkana nor going alone to the tv world to face a sociopath.
no, you just have to pick the right dialogue options when confronting Namatame. then you and your team realise Adachi is the killer and from then you're on the true ending path
