This will always be one of my favorite covers But the sisters of mercy have done So many Tremendous songs that I can't say that it is truly my number one but Amazing! I think Emma If I had to truly pick 🖤 Thanks Andrew 🤘
I always loved this song, since I started listening to The Sisters. I never realised this is the same song as performed by the Stones. This version is so much better, I never connected these....
My Sister or brother who is it please...i want to no the names of my Sisters... Well if you won't answer me, I'll ask someone else...my sweet friend thanks 4 your relpy........
This really emphasizes the dark theme of the original song; the lyrics so twisted and scary. The Stones made theirs a bit too upbeat - this on the other hand is what it *SHOULD* be when singing/playing a song of war, rape, murder, etcetera.
Want your lips kiss me .......do want a FRENCH KISS......I love Sisters of Mercy....Do U ?.....need shelter..babe......text your friend.......Linda......
Nope, this song was writting by Mick Jagger. This is a Rolling Stones song. The song 1969 was made by The Stooges and covered by the Sisters on the album Some Girls Wander for Mistake; both songs Gimme Shelter and 1969 appears on that album. Cheers pal.
@@Samm0th for a couple years in my head Merry Clayton was first to record Gimme Shelter and Stones covered it cause they were jealous xD don't know how I got hold of this knowledge, maybe drugs tole me so
Might be one of the greatest cover songs of all time. It’s mine for sure
I think they are one of the Original & Cover(1969,Emma,Gimme Gimme Gimme,Jolene,Knockin’ on heaven door,Gimme Shelter……etc.)best band 🤗

This song, the vibe, guitars, and sound reminds me of the Norwegian band Seigmenn, especially Metropolis and Döderlein.
