Upanayana or yagno pavit (sacred thread ceremony): This is essentially an initiation ritual that marks the transition of a child from the infantile stage of play to the serious stage of study and sadhana. The child is initiated into the study of the sacred Vedas. The upanayana sanskara typically takes place around the eighth year of a child’s life; however, some receive it as early as five and some as late as twelve. To many, it is regarded as one of the most important sanskaras of childhood. In fact, It is considered such an essential sanskara that most traditions concede that, however late it may be, the sanskara should still be performed. To know the more intricate details of this ceremony watch the video till the end.

Kya likhu Mai samagh me nahi aa raha hai. . . . . Sirf 3 comments deekh kar bada dukh huwa. . . . .
Waise 9th century tak Upnayan Sanskaar hota tha, partiality to hone lagi thi, Brahman Ke Baccho ka 6-7 Saal ki umr me, Chatriya ke Baccho ka 8 Saal ki umr me Vishya ke Baccho ka 11 Saal ki umr me aur Shodro ke baccho ka 14 saal ke umr me.
Jabki 6th-7th Century me sabka Upnayan Sanskaar eksaath hota tha 6-7 saal ki umr me.
This should be worn by all Hindus not just few sector of people
😍😘😗😙😚

I had my upnain 15 days ago.
I am a South indian smartha brahmin. I married an American Catholic Christian. We live in the US but I want to take him to some south indian temples. But I know that you can't go to certain temples if you are not a hindu. I was wondering if I can get an unpanaina done for him when we go to india so that they accept him in temples. Can someone plz explain to me if this can even happen or its just a wild thought? 😒
It's highly impossible
As your husband is not a born brahmin
It's not possible
@@venkatsrujan8742 oh ok. Thank you for clarifying. That's what I thought as well but was hopeful. 😊
@@varsharao86 even if you want to
It involves a lot of yagna and pooja
His parents need to be present
After the ceremony is done he has to lot of poojas being a foreigner it might be Tough for him to do all these
@@venkatsrujan8742 yeah you are right. It might be tough for him. But do you know if a temple purohitru can get us married in a temple? We plan to do that when we come to india since I am still a brahmin and won't be converting into Christianity
@@varsharao86 yeah that's all right
You can approach them and explain they won't object I think. Since you are a brahmin i think it won't cause a problem 😊
Majority of Hindus don't wear it..
Kya chutiyapanti hai yaar🤣
Murkh
U r fool
@@swagotbharadwaz1645 Less than you to be honest🤣
You don't know about it it is very important and good it cooled your mind helps you come over tough things and if you use it correctly and read the mantra of the sun you can see god. My uncle was once chased by a demon goat who later turned Out to be a demon spirit and the sacred thread saved him
@@swagotbharadwaz1645 Its fine, he expressed his views, a brahman respects others view. Its another thing what is right or wrong but don't call him a fool. A brahman is someone who yields this energy thus making his response clear.
