i have seen a three headed ganesh idol the right head has right directed trunk, the left head had left head the center head had centre kept trubk with 4 tusks. what kind of idol is that? i think i saw this in kopeshwar mandir courtyard, its a small idol

Ganesha is an energy. It doesnt get affected by how its form is represented. Forms and shapes are play of Maya. The energy behind it is the real essence and untouched by the form. I am a South indian smartha brahmin. I married an American Catholic Christian. We live in the US but I want to take him to some south indian temples. But I know that you can't go to certain temples if you are not a hindu. I was wondering if I can get an unpanaina done for him when we go to india so that they accept him in temples. Can someone plz explain to me if this can even happen or its just a wild thought? 😒
