Condensers are practically GN Batteries. They can store GN Particles but cant produce them. It also, for some reason, makes GN Particle production better or release GN Particles faster (like beams and sabers) hence why you see them on all the GN machines (like on the torso of S1 Gundams and on GN-Xs). The GN Drive replacement on the backpack/shoulders are condensers along with the circle glowy thingies in 00s joints. The reason why theyre there is because the twin drives (Exia and 0 Gundam Drives) were destroyed at the end of S2 but Celestial Being decided to keep the OP AF 00 Raiser and also it took em so long to finisb 00 Qan[T]. Lastly, Red or Orange GN Drives are considered 'Fake/Pseudo' because they really arent true drives like the blue ones the Gundams use. They cant generate GN Drives and are practically GN Condensers. They can only generate GN Particles if theyre attached to a Generator like how you see it in S1 and S2. Also why Non-blue ones CAN and WILL run out of particles while blue ones can constantly emit and generate like nobodys business. (True reason why ribbons was angry af at setsuna!)
Indeed, celestial's founder is smart even someone stole data of GN drive rhey cant find the right core for generate GN drive constantly. Even if the enemy make equal performance machine to compete with the gundam, they cant keep up with gundam's ability to regenerate energy for long time
GN particles are green, not blue. Also, the difference between the psuedo GN Drives isn't just the color, but the TD blanket, and energy output. On the quantum level, spin affects the energy, and color. So while not being a true GN drive, they are producing particles, just at a different energy level, and without the TD blanket they do not produce enough to sustain the reaction, thus needing the generator to supply electricity to jump-start the reaction, and to sustain it for prolonged use. The reason behind the time needed to produce a GN drive isn't because they kept the 00, it's the process in making them. Jupiter takes an extremely long time to get to, even in the 00 universe. That alone took up the majority of the time, on top of making 2 drives in perfect sync.
Thanks for the review, I already have MG 00 seven sword, but when I see they release this kit, I just can't stop myself to pre-order it. Really love kits with big weapons.
5:20 It's a different type of GN Condensers. For the joints, they are called "Frame type" Condensers. Their purpose is very simple. They are meant to transfer GN Particles to each parts of the body. The Dynames displayed that feature earlier when Lockon (Neil) was fighting against Graham's FLAG, he transferred all the particles to Dynames' arms and then towards the GN Pistols to increase their output. The one that you got, it's a particle tank and operates just fine like a GN Drive would but only for a limited use.
I bought this kit based on this video from the referenced site using your code. Keep up the great work man. I love the channel and love watching the live stuff. More live and more tutorials!
The ones on the joints are frame type GN condensers for storing excess GN particles (as capacitors) for use during operation specially during trans-am. The gray ones used to replace the GN drive on the shoulders are GN battery type condensers, basically the same function as the frame type but is used to store GN particles in the absence of the actual GN drive.
I'm just going to buy another base unit and display the two backpacks separately. I think they look better that way I personally. Plus I can see it putting alot of stress on certain areas over time. I do like the fact that I have the option to combined them together though.
both the joints and the particle storage thing are GN Condensers. Difference being that the condensers in the joints are more just hold excess particles that are extra to normal operations and are part of particles that are used up when Trans-am is used. The Condenser that replaces the GN Drive is more like a propane tank. Where the particles are compressed for storage and used like fuel.
16:03 "this thing is suuuper cool looking!" lol that's exactly what I was thinking.. do you know if the US release of the XN is the same as the P-Bandai one? does it have waterslides?
It may be big af, (then again, look at the neo zeon) but they need to make a MG Ptolomeus (don't know if I spelled that right) after they make the other 2 MGs of Kyrios and Virtue. That way you could recreate the docking scenes that look really cool. Then again it'd be p-bandai and expensive af.
My main complaint about it, is that it's a cluster fuck of parts that hinder its posability, mobility, and adds a lot of weight to it. Kind of tacky if you ask me, it just has too much going on. Sometimes, less really is more. Shame, I actually really love the 00 Gundam, it was both the kit & series that got me back into Gundam franchise.
The MG XN Raiser is about $145 here in australia, about 130 with my loyalty discount. Tbh that's a pretty good price for a MG with this amount of plastic. Just a little bit more than the Full Armor unicorn MG
Attaching the Binders of 0 Raiser to the shoulders of 00 is a must, cause those binders were used to make the Raiser Sword of 00 Raiser on Trans-Am Raiser..........
OVERKILL!!! Talk about heavy backpack... Woah... I kinda want to see the SEVEN SWORDS G Knee Armor + the GN Qatars added on to this monstrosity... Now that... That is freakin' TOTAL OVERKILL!!!
Just finished my first two mg kits and definitely looking forward to this one! Where do the other 2 leds go on this beast? You showed the 3 (one on each shoulder and head) but not the other 2 locations.
I'm jealous... This kit is perfect. Never thought that regular weapons like GN sword 3 & 5 is included in this p-bandai kit, same goes as well for that shield that can't be attached in the arms. :( I thought its just the OO raiser w/ the XN raiser added but regular parts from original MG 00 raiser is great. Thanks for the review. :)
so in your opinion, should i buy this oo xn raiser mg or oo raiser mg only? i hear the price of this kit is more expensive than oo raiser only, but anyone said it’s worth to get this instead oo raiser mg only
I should be getting mine next month, and really want to combine it with the seven swords. If it is super heavy I may do a double action base to hold up the weight.
I really like the color of this kit, the new parts add a whole lot of white and blue. Blue is my favorite color and I think it looks great! 8000 yen doesn't seems too much consider this kit has a lot of play ability. At least it has more weapon option than the Sazabi Ver ka which is 1000yen more expensive than this.
The MG 00 Raiser already looks clunky due to the 0 Raiser slapped to its back. With the XN Raiser it is even more clunky and messy. I have a 00 Seven Sword/G as well and I have to say I like that one over this.
Lynx Gaming based on othee reviews, the Double O raiser(xn or not) is better than say Double O Quant because the symmetry is good for the torso structure. Quant tends to lean sideways due to the shield.
Paolo Antonio Lomotan I got lucky because my Quanta does not lean sideways. This can be avoided even further by removing the clear green pieces for the sword bits, because that extra weight is what overwhelms the quanta's balance in most cases.
Gusion Rebake Good for you man. The 1/100 3rd party GN Sword IV full saber might also help with counterbalancing. If you remove the sword bits though, do you mount them on the GN Sword V? At least that thing has a stand.
Paolo Antonio Lomotan Each sword bit can also be held as individual handheld weapons. Or you can omit them completely and pretend that they have deployed and are flying off somewheree far away XD
I have the MG Exia, 00 Raiser, 00 Seven Swords and the 00 Qan[T], which is basically all of the "standard" releases for this particular aesthetic, so I'll try to summarize them. Exia came out first, and it wasn't a spectacular kit. Due to the design of the feet, which lets the toes and middle of the foot bend upwards very easily, the kit is a nightmare to balance on its feet, the shield comes off the arm very easily, and the GN Sword gets floppy over time since the switchblade pivot is plastic on plastic. It does look cool just standing there, but it's just a pain to get it to do so. On the plus side, the main weapon can be assembled as either left or right handed, which you couldn't do with the HG kit, but you can't store it anywhere, it's either on the arm or not on the kit period, same with the shield. 00 Qan[T] came out next, and is much more stable, even with the asymmetry. I've had mine in a dynamic pose standing for months, and it's had no problems whatsoever. The GN Sword V is also rock solid so far, then again I don't transform it between modes like I did the GN Sword I. Like the GN Sword I, the GN Sword V can actually be held in either hand despite the arms being asymmetrical, and it can be stored on either hip. The shield is decently articulated, and since it's attached to its own arm with decent articulation it's not that hard to pose it either. The negatives with the kit are that it basically only comes with the sword, shield and bits, and the bits are boring. They don't look too cool hand-held, and they make the sword/rifle impossible to pose with in buster mode because they're so heavy, so mine are basically permanently on the shield. 00 Raiser was third out, and it's a very solid kit in every sense of the word. It kind of has to be, with that huge backpack. It shares a lot of frame parts with the 00 Qan[T], but not everything, and it has similar (really excellent, btw) articulation and stability. It also has gimmicks out the wazoo - ZA didn't show you this in the review, but you can put LEDs not just in the chest and the GN drives, but in the binders for the Raiser as well. It's easily the most visually impressive of the four kits I have, and it actually stands unsupported. I basically have two problems with the 00 Raiser kit though, and they're not fixed in the XN Raiser - First, the GN Sword III is right hand only. It can not, unlike the Exia's and Qan[T]'s swords, be assembled for left hand use, so you can't make it dual wield the things. Second, the GN Shield halves are useless, they can't be attached to the arm in a useful fashion (it would have taken one piece of plastic to make an adapter for connecting the center of the shield to the arm at an angle, but Bandai didn't give us that). Third, if I may quibble a little, it takes two extra sets of LEDs and five batteries to light the thing fully. 00 Seven Swords/G is basically the same basic kit as the 00 Raiser, except without any of the accessories other than the GN Sword II hilts and the beam sabers. In their places are new blades for the GN Sword II system, new knee pads with holders for the GN Katars, the GN Buster Sword, and the GN Sword II Blaster, all of which are pretty cool accessories. The Buster Sword mounts on either shoulder, doubles as a shield, and can take an LED unit if you want to light it up. The GN Sword II Blaster mounts only on the right shoulder, is held only in the right hand (:(), but looks pretty damned cool anyway. And the GN Sword II Long and Short blades are visually interesting in a way the originals weren't really, and the GN Katars are actually usable as both weapons and as a shield, in several different ways. The main problem is that they seem to have cheaped out a little and some of the bits have no place to store them unless they're in use, like the adapters for using the GN Katars as a shields. (The 00 frame is really really stable, though. I can get the 00 Seven Swords/G to stand with the Raiser added to its back, either complete with the binders still on the jet, or in the full 00 Raiser configuration with the GN Buster Sword in one hand and the GN Sword II Blaster in the other. Given that the XN Raiser comes with a kickstand and the default configuration leaves the shoulders, sideskirts and knees free, you can potentially load one 00 Gundam up with *all* of the addons at the same time...
Question on this model, is the arm connection suppose to be flat against the shoulder tab to prevent the shoulder from becoming super loose? I can't seem to push the arm connection all the way in, I didn't want to break anything.
The little side shields on mine dont really go in on mine either idk why. I went back over the instructions and I did everything correctly but I only use them on the backpack solders anyways. Oh and i love the review i got mine at the preorder and it sat on my shelf and i forgot how to change the forms and where the weapons go so very helpful thanks
I like the simple Gundam with katana sword. Just like astray red frame. Its pretty cool. For me. This raizer kit is too heavy. There is to many equipment especially his backpack. Oh my. Its good. But... You know. Its just too much i think..
For the shoelds to go on the xn pack you have to take thw little wings from the xn pack and put them I believe in theure other position and then they'll fit on the risers wings
Zack are you going to review your HG GM Sniper and HG Regelgoo? Also want to know your thoughts on the MSN-01 Psychommu Test Type High Mobility Zaku II
+ZakuAurelius I had the same problem with my action base connector as well. To fix it, I immersed the connector in some boiling water for about 15-30 seconds, dried it quickly with a towel and squeezed the connector prongs closer to one another. After doing this a few times, I let it cool off over night. Now it can hold the 00 Gundam, with the 0 Riser and XN backpacks connected, all the accessories that came with (except the surfboard shields) as well as the full 7 Swords/G equipment as well (GN Sword 2 Short & Long, new knees with the GN Katars, the GN Buster Sword 2, and the GN Sword 2 Blaster) with no issues. Hope this helps!
Is this just the MG 00 raiser with extra weapons/equipment? (like can you technically get the old MG 00 Raiser kit by buying this one?) or does it have some changes to the Gundam itself?
Based on what I saw in the video, this is a complete MG 00 Raiser kit with everything that was in the original box- stickers, dry transfers, LED unit, effect parts, etc - plus the XN Raiser parts and the decals for that. And it doesn't look like any parts on the actual Gundam were replaced. It's not like the 7 Swords/G where parts of the original kit (like the original GN Sword II blades, the GN Shield halves and the effect parts, and the white knee caps) were omitted from the runners and the sticker/dry transfer sheets completely replaced.
nice! thanks for replying guys! I was iffy on getting it (cause I would rather have regular 00 Raiser) now that I know it has all the original parts and everything, I'm definitely going to buy it. thanks again! :)
Z help me pleasee...the dry transfer decal at the gn shield how can i protect it from wash away..should i use topcoat? Or the decal are save even i dont put any top coat or anything? Help me please..almost complete building the 00 xn raiser
When the XN Unit is combined with the O Raiser, can you still detach the GN binders and attach it on to the GN drives like how they are on the OO Raiser?
ah Gundam 00, so any former high school kid here who watched the debut of this series back in the day suffered from senior citizen with grandchildren syndrome when celebrating it's anniversary?
ZakuAurelius Ok I'm just now getting back into modeling after many years. What grade of sand paper and sticks would you recommend? I'll be painting my models with a air brush so you know.
Theres one of these just sitting at my local hobby town... I’ve never had a problem getting any gundam due to it being sold out and I live in Kentucky of all places lmfao
LOL! KY in the house! They surprisingly do have a pretty solid Gunpla selection. Plus, the Middletown Hobby Lobby carries some decent supplies. I saw some Tamiya weathering packs in there the other day.

Joseph Jobo Licayan Unlimited power!
Joseph Jobo Licayan nailed it! Good job!

Andrian Saputra do you think the seven sword can be combined with this xn raiser?

My wife got me this kit for christmas! Thanks for uploading this, it'll help me plan things out :)
I love how well-proportioned the base 00 is. It's very human-like, if that makes sense.
Ecksphyre I know what you mean haha especially compared to other gundams which the Gundam 00's gundams make others look bulky like for example Wing.
I bought this kit based on this video from the referenced site using your code. Keep up the great work man. I love the channel and love watching the live stuff. More live and more tutorials!

Imagine all this plus 7 sword/G, then it will become the most loaded Gundam of all time 😂
GN-0000 + GN-0010 R Full Armor. All weapons and accessories
You should do it you won't regret I did it to my 00 and it looks a beast
It actually does exist in metal build form. Basically XN raiser+ Seven swords in one pack
It's so over the top. I freaking love it.
I'm just going to buy another base unit and display the two backpacks separately. I think they look better that way I personally. Plus I can see it putting alot of stress on certain areas over time. I do like the fact that I have the option to combined them together though.
Shout out to USAGundam!! It's still available as of 3:39pm EST. Can't wait for mine to come in! Looks awesome.
Thanks for reviewing this beast! It will look awesome side by side with the Seven Sword/G.
Thiago Monteiro I'm really tempted to get that kit after building this!
both the joints and the particle storage thing are GN Condensers. Difference being that the condensers in the joints are more just hold excess particles that are extra to normal operations and are part of particles that are used up when Trans-am is used. The Condenser that replaces the GN Drive is more like a propane tank. Where the particles are compressed for storage and used like fuel.
16:03 "this thing is suuuper cool looking!"
lol that's exactly what I was thinking..
do you know if the US release of the XN is the same as the P-Bandai one? does it have waterslides?
I just finished my assembly of this. I love it, it's got some really cool things you can do with it.
12:00 "Now not only does it look stupid, but it also looks like a surfboard." Savage lol
Just picked mine up! Gonna build it over the weekend during my free time! Cant wait!
Gundam OO 7sword.
Didn't get it? Start counting.
foil stickers, dry transfer decals, waterslide decals, sticker decals, every decal type in a single kit
Great review. Currently building it. It’s for sure gona be the centerpiece of my current collection.
"the articulation in A WORD is..... VERY FANTASTIC"
ok zaku.. one word..
OVERKILL!!! Talk about heavy backpack... Woah... I kinda want to see the SEVEN SWORDS G Knee Armor + the GN Qatars added on to this monstrosity... Now that... That is freakin' TOTAL OVERKILL!!!
this XN Raiser is simply amzing, planning to buy that in the near future
Just finished my first two mg kits and definitely looking forward to this one! Where do the other 2 leds go on this beast? You showed the 3 (one on each shoulder and head) but not the other 2 locations.
Hey man. The other 2 leds go on the binders on the O Raiser.
@@DarkROSkull013 thanks man 🤘

Never thought that regular weapons like GN sword 3 & 5 is included in this p-bandai kit, same goes as well for that shield that can't be attached in the arms. :( I thought its just the OO raiser w/ the XN raiser added but regular parts from original MG 00 raiser is great. Thanks for the review. :)
those are condenser on arm and leg zakuaurelius and i bought mine here in canada not as p-bandai but as a regular kit
nice!
the GN tank was only used in awakening of a trailblazer
so in your opinion, should i buy this oo xn raiser mg or oo raiser mg only? i hear the price of this kit is more expensive than oo raiser only, but anyone said it’s worth to get this instead oo raiser mg only
If you like the XN parts then get that one
The MG Perfect Strike has the same issue with fall off the action base. I had rig up an extra support just for the back pack.
I should be getting mine next month, and really want to combine it with the seven swords. If it is super heavy I may do a double action base to hold up the weight.
You can store the GN shields on the GN binders where the drives are
The clear version is even better looking in my opinion
I really like the color of this kit, the new parts add a whole lot of white and blue. Blue is my favorite color and I think it looks great! 8000 yen doesn't seems too much consider this kit has a lot of play ability. At least it has more weapon option than the Sazabi Ver ka which is 1000yen more expensive than this.
The green parts are also condensors. The bigger pieces at the top just have a cap and can't absorb GN particles while the clear ones can.
Battery=condenser
Just ordered this!! Looks killer
The MG 00 Raiser already looks clunky due to the 0 Raiser slapped to its back. With the XN Raiser it is even more clunky and messy. I have a 00 Seven Sword/G as well and I have to say I like that one over this.
Make it even more overkill by putting the seven sword/g on it
I'm like the 12th like and I love all these videos!! So informative about the model and your channel helps me know what to buy and build next.
Great to hear! Thanks!
This kits is p-bandai, but only in japan.
Outside of japan this is going to be saled regularly as a standart kits like the MG 00 seven sword/G
Yes, but I don't know how often Bandai is going to re-run it. So it will still be limited in availability.
Pretty epic it even comes with an led for the head. Adding to wishlist for xmas lol.
Gn condensers are technically powerbank and the circles at the joint is for aesthetic only.
looking forward on the painted kit.
00 raiser or 7 swords MG is also a huge recommendation.
Im waiting for your recolored version mate...i really like this kit *thumbs-up
Would you say this is a better buy than something like the MG Quanta or kits that have this similar aesthetic? I'm looking for something like this

The XN GN Buster Sword looks nice... But I still prefer 00 Gundam 7 Sword/G's looks.
Joeie Rivera I wanna get a 7 Swords now after building this!
Hahaha i came here to find out about the shield! I think they made an error! Shield does not attach bc the bottom inner piece is a triangular mold.
is it still the same with the regular MG 00 raiser? details and articulation?
I think this gundam sums up over the top mecha pretty well
I like the simple Gundam with katana sword.
Just like astray red frame.
Its pretty cool.
For me. This raizer kit is too heavy.
There is to many equipment especially his backpack.
Oh my.
Its good. But... You know. Its just too much i think..
tbh 00 Gundam looks better without the gn drives hanging on its shoulder.
Too many equipment? Too much? ----> Mg full armour unicorn
For the shoelds to go on the xn pack you have to take thw little wings from the xn pack and put them I believe in theure other position and then they'll fit on the risers wings
Are you going to do another video for when you repaint it? i definitely want to see what it looks like after you paint it!
Nice review Zach 👍
kentz Gunpla thanks!
Zack are you going to review your HG GM Sniper and HG Regelgoo? Also want to know your thoughts on the MSN-01 Psychommu Test Type High Mobility Zaku II
I will eventually, but not soon.
Man, I already got my 00 Raiser sitting around. I hope they make XN pack standalone
I agree! I also have a 00 Raiser so I'm kinda wishing Bandai would release a separate XN pack in the future.
P bandai 😀
Dino Kwong I don't care that much, P-Bandai MG weapon packs/backpacks are available at a store I go to.
If bandai maybe they will not xn standalone.. But i guess there will be other model make it standalone...maybe daban or dm i guess
Unfortunately I highly doubt they will at this point. Would have been nice if they made that from the start
Maybe we can see comparison between the P bandai XN raiser n the third party one in future video???
Good to know! I'll just be displaying it standing anyway, but thanks for letting me know! May need that in the future!
Wish there is a RG version of this or just the XN weapon pack
just finished building him, weapons and backpack got more build time than the gundam itself........so big
I preordered mine 3 months ago from usagundamstore and still haven't got it. I like how you're in Korea and got it before me who lives in the US
I don't get kits directly from them, they supply the funds- I get the kits here locally in Korea. faster and saves money
Are there differences besides the XN package?
The grey ones at the shoulders are GN batteries
It's just that in the manual they are called condensers I think? So that's why I got confused
Yes
Dang, guess i better save up now
ah Gundam 00, so any former high school kid here who watched the debut of this series back in the day suffered from senior citizen with grandchildren syndrome when celebrating it's anniversary?
Hey ZakuAurelius, how many plates make up this kit?
the grey GN look alike is a GN tank/condenser
finally.. can't wait for mine :D
Does this kit come with LED lights and do you need to pain this kit?
Could you please take a look at some other Gundam 00 1/100 kits like the Dynames or Arios?
Bad a$$ gundam just got it👌🏽💪🏽
BossZaku where do you post you painted builds?
I have a playlist on my channel called "Completed Builds" I believe
surf board is the way to go, then it can be like eureka seven
that xn unit is armor for o raiser =?/
I wonder if you can put all the 7 Swords gear on this kit.
What do you use for sanding your models? I would like to know. Also can you do the real grade model as well?
I have reviewed a few RG kits before. I use sanding sticks for flat surfaces and sand paper for curved surfaces
ZakuAurelius Ok I'm just now getting back into modeling after many years. What grade of sand paper and sticks would you recommend? I'll be painting my models with a air brush so you know.
Would applying a matte top coat to this kit be a good idea since it has some clear parts?
You’d want to remove the parts or mask them off with masking tape before spraying matte coat
ZakuAurelius Thank you very much! Love your channel man! It's helping this newb get better and better at building!
Can you attach GN Sword 4 & the big gun from seven swords to this gundam unit?
Love the sound effects lol
For me it's hard to find that LED lamp, because Bandai make sold separately
Hey, I know this is an older video but is there any way to buy the XN Raiser separately? I already own the standard 00 Raiser kit.
Nope :(
ZakuAurelius Darn, guess I'll have to buy another. Thanks for the reply.
So it has the full normal 00 riser in this kit. That makes it more worth the price. Seeing I could display it multiple ways.
Many many multiple ways!
xn riser come with two condensers?
I like it when it has a gaping hole in the back too.
Can I put the backpack to MG QANT?
Theres one of these just sitting at my local hobby town... I’ve never had a problem getting any gundam due to it being sold out and I live in Kentucky of all places lmfao
LOL! KY in the house! They surprisingly do have a pretty solid Gunpla selection. Plus, the Middletown Hobby Lobby carries some decent supplies. I saw some Tamiya weathering packs in there the other day.
Can you still put the Raiser binders on the shoulder with the XN parts on it?
With the little XN wings~ yeah I don't see why not!
ZakuAurelius Can you still have the swords attached?... Because that should solve some of the balancing issues when on an action base
anyone know when the RG gundam Unicorn is coming out in Canada? still can't find it in several hobby shops in Vancouver and Barnaby
You won't see newly released kits in Canada for at least 2 weeks. RG Unicorn was released 8/5 so don't expect any till late august at the earliest.
So is it the 00 Raiser with the special sword? I can't quite tell.
Yeah I said that in the video basically.
Awesome, thanks, was tldw, I'll get to watch it when I have the chance.
Is this still worth getting at 2021???? Im curious cause im thinking to get one by this weekend.
Yes!
Quick question is this pbandai or not cause with other pbandai kits I never see them but with this it’s literally everywhere
Vince Madarang this was premium in japan but regular release in the USA
Ha, I wonder I USA Gundam Store can you how many times I've used your promo code. I love using that code.
