I myself may be wrong at some points below as I am not an expert here but still. The main aplicants of this examination are memebers of Guard, Spetsnaz MVD, police in gereneral, etc., though I heard that members of different army branches are also allowed to participate. As a person that lives in Indonesia i think that fire cinderblock breaking etc are less for training but more for impressing the country due to Indonesia being quite highly nationalist.
For the US Navy parts (specifically dive school) , she's referring to SEALs and SWCC, maybe Navy Diver goes through similar situations but I'm not too sure about that. EOD in the Navy also goes through a Dive School which has a high attrition rate as well. There are a few rates in the Navy that can go through SERE school other than special forces, but it depends on the orders that you get and their requirements.
1. Yes the Navy SEALs are the "elite" part of the Navy itself, not their own independent branch. They do work together with other special forces such as the Army Rangers etc. 2. Dive school is mandatory for SEALs as a part of their overall training regiment to become a SEAL. However, other Navy personnel can attend Dive school to become qualified Divers in addition to their normal rating (job specification) to perform auxiliary underwater duties that may be needed; such as inspecting the hull of a ship, or removing a fishing net from a propeller etc.
The Guatamalean SF guys' matching facepaint is more for uniformity/cultural reasons, as opposed to camouflage I think. It's a promotional video so they're all in the badass paint and berets. Lots of militaries based in tropical regions do this.
Take a look at Navy Submarine deep underwater escape training towers. I understand the Royal Navy used these too. You constantly exhale all the way up or risk popping your lungs. Then have to deal with getting the Bends. Fun Fun!
I have a friend who was UK SF and he does seminars on Russian Systema Martial arts. It is brutal. They don't practice on padded floor, they do it outside in the car park. Lots of bruises, scrapes.
Basic training: turning the mind-set of "I can't do that!" into "I can do it!" which becomes "I did it!" And once you have that, obstacles don't look so tall anymore. It's confidence tempered by experience that can make anyone a winner in life. The body-building and other physical trials joins the inner growth with outer strength. When I was going through it, I felt like I was being stretched to the limits in many directions at once.
The guatemalan training made me laugh I'm a fitness junkie and training on an empty stomach is my favorite quite honestly. Haha your expression told it all haaha 😂
Hey I'm from south africa and i think it'll be really cool and unique to look at the south African rekkies and south African weaponry. Thanks man love you content.
Russia Today did a documentary on modern Spetsnaz training about 5 or 6 years ago. To my knowledge, there was no brick breaking or fire sticks. But you also have to remember, there are different types of Spetsnaz, and their training is different.
my older brother is in the Navy, when he finished basic we talked back and forth through social media and i asked him what basic was like, he didnt say anything about the mask one but yet again he couldve just looked over it.
I do love all your videos where you go through the training videos. I know that those original videos are pretty curated, but still. Navy Seals, Spetznas, anything you think would be notable. These are great vids, and usually better reactions than these "Top 10" videos.

South Korea has a Navy seal like program... also my dad was in the U.S. Coast guard and I’ve heard one of the toughest American military trainings is Pararescue which essentially he did for some time... NE way sorry to ramble and there are enough grammatical errors in here to send an English teacher to an early grave but those are a few of my thoughts and again thx for the chill content... cheers from PHX,AZ
So they gon put the US Navy and Airforce but not the Marines? MARSOC? Ranger School? Airborne? Sapper? I mean I'm no military expert but I know these dudes could kick ass
SERE Level-C is for Army Green Berets, Navy SEAL’s etc. and you go to ‘Camp Slappy’ and of you do something the instructor thinks would get you killed as a real prisoner, you can even be water boarded.
yes other rates in the navy also get dive training as well, but its a small number... but thats navy dive school.. they might be mixing it up with the water training courses during BUDS
The navy has multiple departments of our special warfare specific jobs, I believe the dive training in the video is for the Navy divers, and they all go through the same selection process as the navy seals.
the confidence chamber for the air force made me laugh, for me in the navy i went through the confidence chamber and didnt even get the suit or gloves, we just went in with our type 3's and a gas mask and had to deal with it lol
It would be dope if you could find something about the Brazilian Special Forces. My father was a fighter pilot and he used to talk about a couple of really risky stuff the Air Force Special Forces used to do, they were calle Parasar. But if you could find something from the navy, army or related, i've also heard about them too.
Because Americans don’t really want to talk about a country with a fraction of their wealth and population having an all around tougher standard for the military training.
MEATBALLMAN42 The training isn’t meant to be do-able, they mash the most extreme combat with field practice while giving them top of the line survival and vehicle skills. The training that you don’t get to hear about is way above the regular fitness training and takes the highest willpower to cope or survive.
The u.s. navy is know for there intense swimming train phases with the navy seals getting extra because they are the equivalent of navy spec ops, but in general all navy recruits go through the same sorta thing.
That second Navy thing was for divers, specifically. Regular sailors in the Navy have to do swim qualifications, like all branches, but that water stuff was for divers and SEALS. Not to say the regular swim stuff is a joke. It's NOT, don't get me wrong, but that stuff in the video was much more advanced than the normal stuff. We also do gas chamber stuff in boot camp. In the Marines they used it as a method of punishing us, when our time came. lol
How about watching something about the Austrian WEGA or Cobra Unit? Seems like my country's special forces don't always get much attention so if you want, I'd be glad
Getting shot is one of the biggest pain related things you’d have to worry about and it doesn’t matter how high your pain tolerance is if you get shot you’re probably out of the fight.
The U.S navy dive phase is a little different from Navy Seals eventhough Navy Seals still have to go through drown proofing. Dive phase is a training exercise that you have to sign up for and test into. You can be from other branches of the U.S armed forces ans still test into drive phase while not necessarily being in the Navy.
Can you do the Canada forces please as someone who is wanting to join them in a year and a bit I would love to see some more of there training I’m a new subscriber and I love all you content keep the stuff going
Like someone commented on your previous video, with the Taiwan one, I think it makes sense if you consider Taiwan is an island nation with rocky beaches, so much of their combat could take place in that environment, especially as amphibious soldiers.
Honestly I don't think I'd make it through any of those pool based trainings, got anxious enough hearing about the underwater tunnel bit of the Royal Marines obstacle courses 😨
Hey Luke, you may not read this comment but you said you wanted to know more about the Navy Seals, while I don’t know anybody personally, there’s a guy name Jocko Willink and he was in the Navy Seals for some time, he has a podcast and maybe you could do something with him, talk about the differences between Seal training and Royal marine training?
Seals are a special unit and its after to have made it into perm party. Just like any of the other special units in any other branch. Gotta make sure u can walk and chew gum in basic and AIT so u have a job to go back to if u do not make it through Buds/Seal training. And most wash out and quit/ring the bell and leave their helmet. And one thing they do in Seal training is have them complete tasks underwater. I heard one kid was on his last try. the task was tying a certain amount of diff. knots at the bottom of the deep end of the pool and they have guys pass out pretty regular during this they are pushing that hard. This kid pushed it so hard that he was dead when they brought him up. He had not completed the task and they brought him back and the only thing this kid wanted to know was did he make it did he complete the task. He was told he made it cause he was willing to push himself to the point of death but he had not completed the task. But it was more for to see how far u would push ur self. The seal instructor in charge of that kid and grading him was sweating it until they got the kid back to life. And Buds what a lot call seal training thats just Seal Boot Camp. U have to go to special schools after that to train for ur job in the seals.
Philippine Rangers. Tread water for 30 minutes then COs attack and try to drown trainees for another 15 minutes. Simulating being under fire or attacked during water missions. If the CO isn't satisfied with your defense you have to do it again.
Each military branch in the US has its own special forces: Navy=Seals, Marines=Force Recon, Army=Delta + Green Berets + Rangers, Air Force=Special Tactics
What video tells about spetsnaz is like totall bull***. Breaking bricks on the head etc. if they do it in any army - they do it just for public demonstration, cuz people like to see stuff like this, but in reality nobody is doing it as a training...and obviously no fire sticks etc. They do just regular training for special forces (mountain preparation, orientation in the wild, capturing enemy, doing sabotage etc.)

Basic training: turning the mind-set of "I can't do that!" into "I can do it!" which becomes "I did it!"
And once you have that, obstacles don't look so tall anymore.
I wanna hear lukes royal marine stories
my older brother is in the Navy, when he finished basic we talked back and forth through social media and i asked him what basic was like, he didnt say anything about the mask one but yet again he couldve just looked over it.
That face... have you ever tried running two miles on an empty stomach!?!?!? It’s not that easy!!!! 😂😂😂😭😭😭😭
I do love all your videos where you go through the training videos. I know that those original videos are pretty curated, but still.
Navy Seals, Spetznas, anything you think would be notable. These are great vids, and usually better reactions than these "Top 10" videos.
May i request react also about the Philippines Army Scout Rangers training
YA
It would be cool to do a video about the Dutch Forces !!! I will sub directly as i am dutch :)
Man, you gotta watch Escape from Tarkov: Raid (3 episodes with ENG subtitles). I mean, that is the most realistic military short (!) film that i've ever watched. Would love to see your reaction!
Hey dude... Not a veteran myself but thanks for the content I really enjoy your stuff keep up the good work! BTW as far as other military groups that might be interesting I think Canada’s JTF could be cool the Israeli cqb stuff I think most ppl who watch your channel who don’t already know.... myself included, would be interested in what the Royal Marines are up to I know that France and Germany have interesting units i.e gign probably not SAS tier but still pretty cool.
A lot of these are mental fortitude tbh. I've seen the biggest and baddest guys break down mentally while the smaller guys get through it.
SERE Level-C is for Army Green Berets, Navy SEAL’s etc. and you go to ‘Camp Slappy’ and of you do something the instructor thinks would get you killed as a real prisoner, you can even be water boarded.
I’d love to see you react to more spetsnaz videos👍🔥
yes other rates in the navy also get dive training as well, but its a small number... but thats navy dive school.. they might be mixing it up with the water training courses during BUDS
The navy has multiple departments of our special warfare specific jobs, I believe the dive training in the video is for the Navy divers, and they all go through the same selection process as the navy seals.
This video gets better with every sarcastic stare into the camera lmao
the confidence chamber for the air force made me laugh, for me in the navy i went through the confidence chamber and didnt even get the suit or gloves, we just went in with our type 3's and a gas mask and had to deal with it lol
It would be dope if you could find something about the Brazilian Special Forces. My father was a fighter pilot and he used to talk about a couple of really risky stuff the Air Force Special Forces used to do, they were calle Parasar. But if you could find something from the navy, army or related, i've also heard about them too.
If im honest half the reason i watch is how relaxed you are. #calmingvibes great channel 👍👍👍
being tied up and chucked into a pool would scare the shit out of me lol
Thumbnail: Original Human wondering why there’s no SAS training mentioned.
Because Americans don’t really want to talk about a country with a fraction of their wealth and population having an all around tougher standard for the military training.
Anne Frank the SAS goes through a lot of tough training
MEATBALLMAN42 The training isn’t meant to be do-able, they mash the most extreme combat with field practice while giving them top of the line survival and vehicle skills. The training that you don’t get to hear about is way above the regular fitness training and takes the highest willpower to cope or survive.
a reaction video on the Canadian JTF2, CSOR or Pathfinders would be pretty interesting
The u.s. navy is know for there intense swimming train phases with the navy seals getting extra because they are the equivalent of navy spec ops, but in general all navy recruits go through the same sorta thing.
I would Love to See how you react to german Special Forces like the KSK the KSM or the GSG9 Love your Vids and greatings from Germany
The Richest: *talks about the navy while showing a coast guard boot video clip*
That second Navy thing was for divers, specifically. Regular sailors in the Navy have to do swim qualifications, like all branches, but that water stuff was for divers and SEALS. Not to say the regular swim stuff is a joke. It's NOT, don't get me wrong, but that stuff in the video was much more advanced than the normal stuff. We also do gas chamber stuff in boot camp. In the Marines they used it as a method of punishing us, when our time came. lol
I hope you can react to the Philippine scout rangers training..
May have been noted before, but those U.S. "Marines" in Thailand are wearing the patch of the 2nd Infantry Division. Army, not Marines.
How about watching something about the Austrian WEGA or Cobra Unit? Seems like my country's special forces don't always get much attention so if you want, I'd be glad
@OriginalHuman dive school is a thing done by either Special Forces or the rate "ND - Navy Diver" (or naval diver dont quote me lol) not just SEALs
Getting shot is one of the biggest pain related things you’d have to worry about and it doesn’t matter how high your pain tolerance is if you get shot you’re probably out of the fight.
Yeah I'd definitely love to see some more Canadian forces!
United States Marine Reconnaissance/Force Recon or MARSOC Raiders.
you are correct, standard navy personnel do not go through that level of training - it is part of BUD/S training in the "drown proofing" phase
13:40 yes they do do the training you are asking about. My cousin is a Seal and we talked a lot while I was a rifleman in the Marines.
You need to watch the selection of the GIGN and the french commando Marine it’s really hard and useful 👌😁
wow its 3 in the morning here in hawaii but i still gotta watch the vids
The Richest: plays any training clip of "elite training"
OH: Press X to doubt!!
Each military branch in the US has its own special forces: Navy=Seals, Marines=Force Recon, Army=Delta + Green Berets + Rangers, Air Force=Special Tactics
American Soldier: "What the F*CK!! Who the hell made a ladder of swords?!"
Indonesian soldier: "Hold my Cobra."
You should definitely react to Canadas special forces although there is almost no film on the JTF-2
It would be interesting if you could react to the Norwegian FSK and MJK^^ The Norwegian military actually has a youtube channel called "Forsvaret" :)
