God I NEED more Florence content, she’s a true goddess.
Not a goddess! False idol.
Agreed!!🖤🔥
I'm thankful to be alive while, Florence is alive on this earth. I knew she was special when I first seen her 7 years ago. She helped me heal and inspired me further to embrace humanity. I will always keep her in my heart. Thank you Heavenly Father for Florence, who is such a beautiful creation. Thank you once more.
For me she is one of the best vocalists
in my eyes, she is the new kate bush... because she dont use only her voice, she use the whole body for her art and thats great...
No doubt she is. I also love Brittany Howard.
The progress Florence has made vocally from the first album to the recent performances is amazing :) this performance leans to the "earlier days performances"
Daria Zhuleva I agree. This video is from over 10 years ago. Her voice from 2018 and 2019 has improved so much, it’s hard to imagine it’s the same woman singing. Her performance of this same song live at SiriusXM from 2018 really shows her improvement
@@sheroo1000 the only thing I feel like got WAY worse is her vibrato. It’s SO front and center now that it winds up detracting from her performances. I don’t mind fast vibratos (and like them when they’re controlled) but her vibrato just sounds out of control most of the time. It wasn’t like that until Ceremonials. It’s odd because I can hear that her voice has improved SO much in other areas but she sounds like she’s got a total lack of control over her vibrato now.
She improved???? I’ve started listening her first two albums this month and already think her techinique is perfect.
@@Daniel-bi5ci from her own words, "i didnt know how to sing back then" :D and yes, you can compare some of the songs (up to 8 years inbetween performances) and hear for yourself. Florence now is a BEAST :D
Florence sings with such an outstanding dynamic and nuance. As you said, she definitively paints with her voice. I would love to see you analysing more of her music!
in my eyes, she is the new kate bush... because she dont use only her voice, she use the whole body for her art and thats great...
Isn't word painting like when they say stop in a song&music ends?
“She’s painting with her voice”. Couldn’t have said it any better ❤️
If your ever lucky enough to see her live, she's an absolute force of nature. A bare footed angel skipping around the stage, holding everyone in the palm of her hand. Beautiful.
Dropped everything I was doing to watch this video
and people really listen more gaga, grande, swift, gomez, cyrus and the rest of the novoicebitches... i never will understand that...
I nearly weep every time I hear her sing. I finally got to see her live and I was on the verge of tears the entire time. So good.
Miss Beth im still waiting for Delilah from Glustonbury 2015 by Florence.
up
Yes! 👌
Her Mtv unplugged version of ‘Never Let Me Go’ is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard. Ever.
I just love Florence so so so so much, her voice gives me goosebumps every time it’s just so beautiful!
My favorite thing about her vocals is how utterly effortless they always sound, even when she’s giving it her all.
Florence and the Machine - Queen Of Peace (Acoustic) Live at Sydney’s Botanical Gardens Secret Show
Daughter jumped right to my mind, a analysis of her would be amazing :)
I was waiting for this for a long long long time!
So enjoy joy joy joy!
Her voice is just amazing & fits so well with the character she has on live performances. Watching her sing like this as she skips around the stage barefoot, just shows a complete freedom of spirit. Beautiful.
Truly one of the best voices out there
Her long notes and breath control. Oh!
It was that one part of _You've Got the Love_ that made me go, "Who is THIS?! I must find her music."
Florence is such a brilliant singer with an amazing range. She really uses her voice as an instrument and plays with it. Love her
YASS!!! I’ve been waiting for his and requesting for so long!! Her live concert at Alberta and MTV unplugged are superb!!
Her voice hits me in some deep part of my soul that I didn't even know I had. Been waiting for this
I have listened to thousands of voices and by far you have the single most beautiful, loveable, intriguing and exciting voice i have ever heard!
One of my favorite voices that I love to listen to...
Thanks for this! My favorite performance of Cosmic Love, such natural passion - you can see she's really feeling it.
Would not expect this, but can't help a little tear escaping while hearing this piece.. So touching.
This is one of her best perfomances ever. I always come back to listen to it 💖
I love that you brought your notes from the breathing tutorial here towards the end. That part of emitting the air out slowly, and imagining a silver string coming out of your mouth or whatever. Thank you for reinforcing that.
I love this, my favourite performance if this song
Ive never heard anyone describe singing voice techniques and nuance in a way that a layman like me could understand. I love Florence and now thanks to you Beth i understand why lol awesome video!
Would you be willing to check out the band Emarosa? The songs Givin Up or Cautious are pretty cool 😎
Yay! My favorite band! Love Florence's voice so hauntingly beautiful. Their songs remind me of such old magick.
Great reaction. Thanks! Learned a lot.
Please, more Florence ❤
I love her voice and songs.
One of the live performance is Lover to Lover and No light no light - Brit Awards
This live version is a very old video. One of my favorites. It’s pre vocal blow out or “proper training”. I love Florence so much. I miss the Lungs and Ceremonials era music style so much!
she has really really cool lyrics.
finally Florence! I've been waiting so long
I love this song and your channel. You are so incredibly adorable and your hair is amazing. Keep up the good work.
For me, the best interpretation of Florence Welch because of the song itself and her way to raise it up.
If I get a florence and aurora collab I will have a dopamine stroke
Omgmgmgm Thankyou for doing this
That was lovely!

Florence is beautiful all ‘round!!! Saw her for the first time on Graham Norton singing Ship To Wreck. Loved it so much I immediately bought the album!! I’m pretty uneducated on the voice in general, but I did feel a few rough spots. @BethRoars I now begin to understand what I was hearing!!!! Bless you, Sweet Beth!!!! I can’t remember which song they sang when Florence visits a young girl (10-13 ish) in hospital who was dying. They sang it together, beautifully with F. not sounding rough to my ears. Hard for me to imagine being able to sing at all with that much pain and emotion choking up the throat!!! Sad, touching, hauntingly beautiful. Me doing 😥😥😢😢😭😌😌
Like she was rocking a baby to sleep... I loved even more than I thought possible with that one...
I'd love to see a coach reacting to Meg Myers, particularly the song "Heart Heart Head". I think it'd be really interesting to hear what you'd have to say!
Florence 💚 💚 💚 💚
Greatest song of all time.
She really gets Florence. Bravo Madame
Florence, the queen!!
Please react to Perennial- Jinjer (live )... Tati is simply a Goddess!!
First you’ve got her voice which is so unique and powerful add that to the bands sound which is just unlike any other band I’ve ever heard. They just don’t sound like anyone else we’ve ever heard. Amazing!
More Florence ❤️
Finally Florence ❤
Brilliant! Would love to hear your thoughts on a male vocalist with stunning falsetto, someone like Damien Rice. Keep up the good work.
quite a voice and special mention to the harp guy... A+ for guitar guy too!
I would love to hear you say something about Bon Iver on re:stacks in Paris
Beth I would love to see you react to Jim nabors sings The impossible dream
Hey Beth, I'd love for you to look up "George Maple 'Talk Talk' - Local Live at FBi"
She is an amazing Aussie artist who is able to back up her recording vocals live. Each time I see her live, I'm always blown away by her talent.
You should do a reaction to a more recent performance because she’s grown vocally quite a lot
i love watching reactions to Flo, without fail... in the first 10 seconds... the eyes dilate and the mouth drops open... hahah she’s superhuman
Love your videos and love her, Florence has an amazing voice.
I'd like you to analyze more female voices like Lana Del Rey or Aurora.
Hope you are safe and heathly!
My favorite video of yours, can you react to Johnnie wilder jr singing always and forever?
Florence is an angel.sent from God.awsome voice.65 000 last July turned up to see her sing in londons Hyde Park.she got a brilliant set of musicians with her in her band.dont think she's been to any vocal coach she's natural
her awsome voice is given from God.an angel sent from heaven.i listen to her concerts all the time in my car.she inspires me to be happy and positive.love you florence.
You should react to Annie Haslam from Renaissance!
Some fantastic live performances of her voice include: The Young Prince and Princess from The Song of Scheherazade from her 1997 Philadelphia PA studio concert, Ashes are Burning from Live at Carnegie Hall (unfortunately they only did an audio recording of the concert, but it's probably the best example of Annie's full voice, at least in my opinion), Midas Man Live from the BBC (unfortunately also just an audio recording cause it was for a Radio show), Can You Understand from the 1976 Capitol Theatre concert, Carpet of the Sun Live on the 1977 Midnight Special, Jekyll and Hyde Live at the Boardwalk Convention Hall 1979, or Island Live at the Keswick Theatre 2018 (also only an audio recording unless you want to buy the actual live DVD.)
Back in the 70s, when they were at their height, they did more concerts and colleges and on radio shows in terms of the ones recorded, meaning there were more audio recordings done than full video recordings, but a live performance is a live performance, you just don't have anything really to look at but a picture.
She's got a pretty unique voice, as she's from Bolton England so, despite having been sent to speech lessons as a child, bits of her accent can still be heard when she sings. Annie's a genuinely lovely and really darn funny lady too, I've been honoured to have meet her several times now, and she's always a joy to watch perform, listen to, and to simply chat with. She's like a bunch of bubbles, flowers, and sunshine, it's great, and even without visuals, you can tell how much she loves singing. If you chose to do the Carnegie Hall Ashes are Burning one, she actually talks at the beginning of it cause it was the encore, so she's thanking the audience for a wonderful evening.
Fun fact, Renaissance is the second rock band ever to perform at Carnegie Hall, the first being the Beatles. The three Renaissance shows, which were back to back nights in June of 1975, were completely sold out. Annie's brother, Michael Haslam, actually toured with the Beatles back in the 60s on their Christmas tour, and Annie herself has met Ringo (at a bar while out on a date with her then fiance, Roy Wood of ELO), and also Paul McCartney who was recording in the same studio as Annie while she was working on her first solo project Annie in Wonderland. He apparently was blown away by her voice and said she had the best voice he had ever heard, so that's got to count for something!
react to Type O Negative - Anesthesia Live at Wacken 2007 definitely a classic performance, the whole show was great, it was only 4 songs but it was probably one of their best shows
I know that I already asked you to react to the Berlinist's "Singing until our voices get lost", but please do it. If you don't, you'll miss something. Awesome job, as usual.
Must listen to the cover of Cosmic Love performed by O'keefe Music Foundation
She's truly a godess when she sings... it's like travel to another world, thanks Beth :) could you react to Tears for Fears ft. Oleta adams - woman in chains? Would be great
Why isn't this viral?
You should react to "Man in the Box" by Alice in Chains. But do the live at the Moore version in 1990. You won't be disappointed.
Please react to 100 Years on Later... with Jools. I think that performance shows how much of an improvement she's made with her voice.
React to Florence Welch's Best Live Vocals pls..💪🏼❤
