I love birds and absolutely love the corvid family. We have crows in our neighborhood and we hoped to attract them with dry dog food (recommended by someone who similarly likes crows). Instead, we got another corvid - blue jays. It was neat to see how similar the behavior they have with the food - put one down the gullet, one in the beak, then fly away. We'd see this repeatedly as the jay, presumably, brought food back to a nest. One day, I hope to be able to make friends with some crows, too!
