I just subscribed to your channel when my sister sent me something you put up on Tik-Tok, which I don't get on. So, I found you here. You seem like such a good person and I find your videos interesting. I am so sorry about your surgery (at least it's over and you're on the mend) and the flooding problems that you and your family have to deal with. Happy that the animals were all okay and it's sweet that the chickens found their way back home. Many blessings to you!
That's terrible. I'm glad you can still find a reason to smile in the end despite it all. BTW, I've been enjoying your projects since your days at hackaday, but I think this is the first time I've sent a message your way. I hope you are back to enjoying interesting projects soon.
Damn bud. What a heartbreaker.... Hope your injury is healing well. Seems like a lot of my favorite makers are having health issues of late. If the money to make a couple hundred square feet of hill for the animals to rest and retreat to were not an issue would you and your wife still want to keep them? Your animal videos are nice, you're a great dude, and I wouldn't be surprised if a gofundme to make a nice flood hill for your critters would be successful. I'd toss you a few bucks. Obviously your critters love ya if your wash-away chickens even figured out how to hike home.
if money wasn't an issue, I would not have found a new home for my goats. I miss them. However, I do think it was the correct decision. We kept the donkeys though, as they're easy to move up to the house when the flooding begins.
Oh Caleb, I am so sorry. That's crushing.
Well that sucks.
I can't imagine the stress of living in a place that gets flash floods like that.
Hope things get better soon
honestly just adjusting to get rid of the airstream and animals will make it not so bad
Ouch sorry 😢 Hope things take a turn for the better soon 🍀
Bummer man. Glad the animals were ok. Sorry about the airstream.
