Appetite for Destruction was one of the top 10 best rock and roll albums ever. I loved it. I mean I really loved it. They shot their load on that album. They should have left it alone. Slash has been doing good things. Velvet Revolver was awesome. But I guess it's about mo' money mo money
Saw them in 1992 Buffalo NY, Axl was like an hour late and blotto :( Saw them last in 2017 in Buffalo...they absolutely slayed it! Being sober and in a good place does wonders I guess lol

I seen them a few years ago at the start if the not in this life tour and his voice is absolutely shot when he does songs like November rain it's so bad almost like a bad parody. What's strange is I seen Axl fill in for Brian on the AC/DC tour and he sounded awesome it was a great show he just can't hit those high notes anymore.
I thoroughly enjoyed this gig. The band were tight, the crowd were cool and there was a great vibe at the venue. 2.5 years between ticket purchase and performance.... and worth the wait!

I saw GnR live in 1991 and 1992. I found Axl's vocals to be painful to listen to for the past 20 years or so, and I've not really listened to GnR the past 2 - 3 years. So I was very surprised -- pleasantly so -- how good Axl sounds in this video. Maybe it's just this song -- I want to listen to more recent songs to be convinced -- but he sounds close to how he did 30 years ago. Wow! Axl and the entire band sound really great in this video.

If you read Duff's first book you'll know that Ireland has a special spot in his heart. When he was young he was stopped for speeding by an Irish police (Duff wrote that his name was O'Hara or O' Rourke I forgot). But he let Duff go. Simply because Duff was wearing a green hoodie with a big IRELAND in front.
So good it's crazy. Test of time. Doubt these epic songs can ever be bettered. Slash laid down the greatest guitar tracks in rock history. Right here you can hear it. He redid the exact solos. Bravo to him for not f'ing with perfection.
He did improve from 2019 but Still looks like skinning a cat alive with a disposable Gillette. Wouldn’t mind if he stopped singing this song or get some back vocals but yeah . Points for nostalgia I guess .
Saw them in 92 , Houston Texas with very unknown Soundgarden . They were extremely late , but when they hit the stage at like 1130 , they were the best band I would ever see. I was 14 and I’ve seen them all by now . Still that show stays with me . Civil War is probably my favorite GnR track all time , Rocket Queen maybe tied .
I remember seeing them in '87 touring with Aerosmith. Nearly got crushed to death when they came on - still owe that security guard for pulling my 12 year old self and friend out of there :)
I saw them in 2017 in Paris, when Axl's voice was still fresh and raspy from ACDC tour, and I can assure you that I still nearly got crushed to death when they came on to the stage jamming with "It's so easy". I had bring my two lil brothers with me to live that once in a lifetime show and made sure to get us "gold" tickets so we can be few rows from the stage, man when they came in, after a long afternoon waiting in the burning sun, people went ecstatic and all pushed forward to the stage, including the row behind us. I swear I didn't have time to think what was going on, I just have been launched 15 feet forward and also showered with beer people were holding in the air when that happened. I just had time to quickly recover, grab both my shaken brothers by their arms and pull them out from that mess, lol. Despite the lesson learned that day and its rough start for me, it was an amazing show. 10/10 would recommend, beside the beer shower.

We should all thank whatever deity you like for the fact the G n' fucking R are still out there, almost intact and playing high quality gigs. Axl, for all his struggles, has a voice like no other human on Earth. To do this in his 50's is nothing short of a miraculous feat. Didn't always appreciate what they were doing, but I sure do now.

Tem hora que o Axl parece que vai faiá a voz, mas o Slash super segura a onda, aliás tem um trabalho solo muito bem reconhecido e sempre se destacou como ícone desta landaria banda.
Já tenho quase 50 anos e essa banda marcou muito minha maravilhosa juventude, apesar de todos os problemas eles ainda são sensacional um espetáculo não tem igual

In the late 80s hearing GnR changed my life for ever. The raw energy, the attitude was like a shot in the arm; only hearing the pistols for the first time got close . But I'm sorry, they have become an empty parody of their former selves.

I still feel the songs everyone gets older i went through a voice change between high school and college that devastated my confidence vocals is the hardest instrument its a person you can’t just change the strings on vocal cords you rock guys

@@mrmaxaxl Yes ...saw.them at a 90k show here in Mepbourne Australia Calder Park ..was 40 plus degrees celcius people were passing out....they hosed us down...thunderstorm came through ...they left by chopper

If you read Duff's first book you'll know that Ireland has a special spot in his heart. When he was young he was stopped for speeding by an Irish police (Duff wrote that his name was O'Hara or O' Rourke I forgot). But he let Duff go. Simply because Duff was wearing a green hoodie with a big IRELAND in front.

So good it's crazy. Test of time. Doubt these epic songs can ever be bettered. Slash laid down the greatest guitar tracks in rock history. Right here you can hear it. He redid the exact solos. Bravo to him for not f'ing with perfection.

Saw them in 92 , Houston Texas with very unknown Soundgarden . They were extremely late , but when they hit the stage at like 1130 , they were the best band I would ever see. I was 14 and I’ve seen them all by now . Still that show stays with me . Civil War is probably my favorite GnR track all time , Rocket Queen maybe tied .

I remember seeing them in '87 touring with Aerosmith. Nearly got crushed to death when they came on - still owe that security guard for pulling my 12 year old self and friend out of there :)
I saw them in 2017 in Paris, when Axl's voice was still fresh and raspy from ACDC tour, and I can assure you that I still nearly got crushed to death when they came on to the stage jamming with "It's so easy". I had bring my two lil brothers with me to live that once in a lifetime show and made sure to get us "gold" tickets so we can be few rows from the stage, man when they came in, after a long afternoon waiting in the burning sun, people went ecstatic and all pushed forward to the stage, including the row behind us. I swear I didn't have time to think what was going on, I just have been launched 15 feet forward and also showered with beer people were holding in the air when that happened. I just had time to quickly recover, grab both my shaken brothers by their arms and pull them out from that mess, lol. Despite the lesson learned that day and its rough start for me, it was an amazing show. 10/10 would recommend, beside the beer shower.

igual creo q no fue responsable con su voz....no se cuido ...ojala se ponga las pilas...ya q es una voz unica e irrepetible..pero si es verdad q la banda suena impecable..y a comparacion de años atras esta un poquito mejor la voz

Só de ver o Axl cantando assim já vale a pena... a voz, sua ferramenta de trabalhado se desgastou sim pelos drives... assim como o joelho de um jogador ou articulações de um fisiocuturista ... mas ainda manda muito bem e se esforça, Guns ainda vale a pena sim, pela história e pelo que entregaram durante anos, marcou infâncias, marcou vidas. Isso é rock !

We should all thank whatever deity you like for the fact the G n' fucking R are still out there, almost intact and playing high quality gigs. Axl, for all his struggles, has a voice like no other human on Earth. To do this in his 50's is nothing short of a miraculous feat. Didn't always appreciate what they were doing, but I sure do now.
