Thank you for the guide but it's incomplete and incorrect. The tabs on both the small tip that is already missing in this video and the base need to be pried open carefully with a tool or they will break.

is there an adhesive to keep it on? i have been using it and after a few uses it shifts up to the release button. Need something to hold it on the ebrake rod now that the retention clip is gone.

@@ministryauto the plastic boot. In your video is already extracted from the base. These operations would be good to explain them better because no one knows what kind of clips there are underneath and using a different force they could also break them. The rest of the video is the part that is more intuitive.
