It's a shame you can't use the AMS Lite with the X1 Carbon as adding the X1C to my print stable is an expensive jump enough as it is. It'd be nice to cushion that financial blow by being able to utilise the AMS Lite.
I just purchased the A1 with AMS Lite during the Black Friday sale and I'm very happy with it. I concur about the usefulness, or lack thereof, of the camera.
I literally just returned my impulse buy of the AnkerMake M5 to get the A1 with AMS. The m5 was great for a week no complaints. But I think I'll be happier with the A1 in the long run.
I just got one as well. I don't hate the camera it shows you enough to see if the print failed or not. It's just not a video camera it's just taking a still photo every 2 seconds or so and displaying what it captures. So yeah, if you are looking at it like a video its less than 1 fps LOL.
The inbuilt camera is, to put it mildly, an absolute tragedy. Which is a pity considering that the rest of the kit is outstanding for its price point. I’d recommend for anyone who has one to just get a third party video camera.
What would you do with a 30fps camera ? 1 fps is plenty enough to check if the print is failing. Let's think of 3d printers as tools instead of shiny toys please.
You can literally just search for somrthing to print, click a button on your phone, and it just does it! Also, I've never had that layer shifting issue, are you sure your desk or whatever is completely stable?
Same here for prototyping. A1 for that and for the quick nozzle swap to print miniatures…whenever Canada Post strike is over. X1C for finish tabletop modular tiles terrain. Both when I don’t need to prototype. You are right, no brainer. Thank you for the tip about filaments falling into the cracks.
I haven't actually swapped my nozzle yet on the A1. I actually didn't even know they have a quick swap feature. I just went through the nozzle change process on the X1C and it took me almost half an hour, looks like the A1 takes seconds. Cool, thanks!
@@helenhernandez6202 I bought my A1 and Nozzle at the BambuLab official store. There is a local store where I live have the X1C, P1P and P1S in stock, but they are marked up.
If I buy the printer without the 4 roll addon can It still print in multi colors later of I buy the addon? Or is there a certain nozzle I need to print in 4 colors?
Poop-chute: If A2 will stay there, on the left side of the table, you could print a bin that is much bigger and extends BELOW the desk, yet design center of gravity so that it still hangs solid on the desk! That way you could make it essentially ANY size you want to! ;-)
The cameras on all bambu printers excepting the X1's are such garbage that they really should've dropped them from the design and shaved the $5-10 off the price. They're not just functionally worthless, I feel like they're actually a *NET NEGATIVE* imo - 3 separate times now I've looked at the camera only to find what at least *appeared* to be a horribly failed possibly hot-end-damaging level print failure, only to find it's actually just how terrible the camera is 😕 As to the print failure detection - I agree, the X1C has just spoiled me rotten on that front!! I ended up setting up Obico with a cheap-o webcam I had lying unused in a draw (for who knows how long lol), and am finding it's failure detection to be just as good if not better actually... It'll catch whenever there's a filament strand stuck to (somewhere it shouldn't be) even. The one catch is, it needs really solid lighting; since it's image based instead of lidar, the low light results in too blurry of an image to run detection on effectively. Highly recommended!
I just picked up the Aa1 coo but haven't unboxed it yet, but the prints in this video do not really inspire confidence I currently have a V3 SE ad have been getting great prints but I always print in high quality and slow speed. my prints look better than anything showcased in this video but I don't know these speed and quality setting that were used. I was going to get a V3 but the A1 had bigger volume and the AMS.
Punkt 1: Du arbeitest da wo deine Drucker stehen?
Talk about cracking molecules... da enstehen so einige üble Verbindungen, die man NICHT einatmen will...
If you ordered it direct from Bambu Labs, it's probably pre-order and will take some time to receive it. Best to get one from a vendor that has it in stock.

Mine has been running nonstop since August. Enjoy!

Odd question: Are we able to send the company the ‘poo’ or failed prints for recycling purposes?

Where can I buy one
@@helenhernandez6202 I bought my A1 and Nozzle at the BambuLab official store. There is a local store where I live have the X1C, P1P and P1S in stock, but they are marked up.
I just want a printer to make functional parts for prototyping.
Like small electronic boxes in ABC. Would you recommend this unit?
Easy Yes
Love to hear some ideas on stable tables. Seems like everything I have tried shakes whole table
I use anti fatigue mats below a concrete block on my X1C. Works pretty well.
Would you recommend the same setup for the A1? I got an A1 combo on order.
Definitely couldn’t hurt for faster printing.
I haven't had a layershift on my A1.
Me neither, and between my 2 a1 combos I have over 3000 hours
This printer is great. Quality is very good.
Can you sand down the prints to smooth over light layer shifting?
How did you mount the AMS Light to the wall?
If I buy the printer without the 4 roll addon can It still print in multi colors later of I buy the addon? Or is there a certain nozzle I need to print in 4 colors?
You can add it after.

After removing the camera part, the device can be sold cheaper

Exactly. They put it just to say it had a camera. It's pathetic really.

Can it make a bong?
Why is this the first comment I see?
I ordered an A1 8/11. I never received it. It looks like Bambu Labs is a scam.

Microcenter has 25 of them lol.i live 30 minutes away
