Ended up putting a hole in one running over a piece of driftwood with nails in it. I ended up buying some Wheeleez. They worked very well just not very durable.

So the wheeleez are thicker and basically puncture proof?

Mine are still good after 5 years! I used puncture resistant tubes with factory sealant for lawnmowers.
