Hey Pete, I'm 23 and from Scotland, I have recently recovered from 3 cycles of BEP chemo for testicular cancer. Watching someone who has been through the same as me and the fact that you have the same positive attitude has helped me alot. People ask me how I have remained positive... for anyone who is reading this you should know that even when something as terrifying as cancer is sprung on you the support that friends, family and even strangers can give you all you need. Pete, I don't know you personally unfortunately but watching this resonates with me alot... I don't normally post things like this on social media but thank you for giving me. I wish you the very best in the rest of your recovery.

Glad you are doing well. how big was your tumor? I have a friend that is worried, he has a 10cm by 5cm tumor from testicular cancer. He is almost done with the treatment and I would like to compare the odds.

Except for when it comes back. Once you get cancer that starts to spread, it may go into remission, but it almost always comes back. Hopefully for Pete, it doesn't.

damn pete don't thank us man thank yourself. Your the one that went threw hell for 9 weeks and never looked down or gave up the fight. My Grandma, had Ovarian Cancer and it kinda came in as surprise to us all but to me she'll never leave my heart or my soul. She always said as she was going through the treatment that, your not done seeing me around. She said that she was ready to fight she was ready to fight and win. Yet when the cancer was spreading all through her body she had, had enough. She fought that battle for 2 years and she will inspire me forever. I thank her and now you for showing me that life isn't a straight path in the road with no bumps or detours. Life is a never ending shit storm, but so what. You gotta wake up, put on a strong face and start charging into that shit storm with every single thing you got.

I just had my feeding tube removed yesterday and I couldn't be happier. And like HOW do you look so good? Like I'm 14 and 92 pounds. (Not anorexic just cancer) but I'm serious dude. Hey Pete... I'm a survivor as well. I also had testicular cancer stage3 and did chemo minus the radiation for about 6 months.... Now, I'm clean and clear for 11yrs... My aunt who lived next block of me, who means a lot to me, always bring food over and invited me to her house parties, passed away tonight 9pm due to ovarian cancer. I did not see her at all because I wanted to preserve the memory of her, and I knew she have many family members that support her. For those who sees this, be present and love, and find love furiously. Enjoy life while it lasts. Congratz Pete, and I look forward to your continued adventure!

Just starting my treatment, day 2/5 out of a 9 week treatment with 3 cycles. Very similar to yours but i only have a slightly enlarged lymph node left in me after the testicle. Im scared and i hope it responds well, 24 years old and my father passed away in cancer, i wont be another victim
Chemotherapy is no joke. Congratulations, Pete. You have spread a strong message about cancer awareness. Testicular cancer had a very strong stigma earlier, but health is the most important thing in life. Cancer has no rules and young people are not safe. Lymphoma, colon cancer, thyroid cancer, colon cancer are unfortunately present even among young people, so regular check ups and blood work is important. Keep being strong, Pete, and thanks for educating people.
I can relate to you, Pete. I had cancer as a baby and underwent chemo which caused a lot of other health problems after, including low t. Eventually my heart was affected, and I ended up getting a heart transplant a little over four years ago. Now, I do strongman and powerlifting, and I'm improving everyday. I'm encouraged by your vulnerability with your own struggle as well as your perseverance. I hope that my story can encourage you as well and hopefully a few others.

Glad i came across your page. I was diagnosed with stage 4 choriocarcinoma back in april 2022. Ive under went BEP and also TIP. Currently facing a 3rd phase called VIP. I love how positive you are despite everything you are going through
it's such a horrible thing,not ashamed to say that I had a testicle removed,and I had an implant,I was 26 when this happened to me thankfully I have two beautiful boys although I know that you can still have kids with one testicle but guys please check your balls. Pete I hope you get better soon long time following you,I'm now 30 I'm still eating what I want when I'm allowed lol but has put a new perspective on life God bless you mate

I've seen motivational videos on YT with heroic music in the background and with quotes and all of that.. But I have never EVER seen anything as inspiring as what your journey with cancer has been. The sole fact that you decided to document it all, but also the attitute you managed to maintain throughout this hell you went through is beyond inspiring and admirable. It inspires me, as a person, to dig deep within your mind and find strength when life simply sucks and when you feel like you're left alone with all your problems. Around ten years ago me and my family had a friend who was my little brothers teacher who went through chemotherapy for his cancer. Unfortunately it didn't work and he ended up passing away so it was very tough to swallow that. Seeing you going through what seems like a completely successful chemotherapy could not make me more happy for you Pete, I'm 100% honest when I say congrats for making it through those tough times. If I ever had the chance to have a drink with you one day, I'd toast to a long and happy life for you bro, so keep eating and stay strong Furious Pete! :)

Hey Pete happy you are on your way to be completely healthy. Right now I'm fighting breast cancer. I'm on stage 3 and finished my last round of chemo. BEP chemo is no joke. I went through 12 weeks of it myself starting June 18th 2007 (Been in remission ever since May 2008). Not only is the nausea too much at times, but after the first week, everything you eat tastes like you're licking a metal pole. It's hard to stay positive, but you have to try as best as you can.
