I have been in remission for over 10 years, my right testicle removed, and two tumors from my abdominal area... before the abdomen surgery when I just had my testicle gone my sex life was fine. I can't ejaculate now because of never damage. At 23 and single trying to find love, it was very embarrassing and difficult to explain... plus it has messed up my relationships to this day. No kids and self esteem issues in bed.. I pray no one has to go through this cancer.

And you have to check your testosterone levels I found you need a least 250 but closer to 400 things work better that plus for me Viagra is a big help. So yes is the answer . You can have a good sex life after double testicular cancer. If you have any other questions about life after cancer I'm happy to help.

@@kmoe8906 Cancer patient here. Survival rates are on a 5 year basis. For testicular cancer, patients in the final stage (Stage IIIc) have about a 50% survival rate after 5 years. It is the least fatal of all cancers.
I lost my right testicle aged 28 in 2014 from a misdiagnosis of cancer (turned out to be scar tissue which unfortunately sometimes mimics cancer on ultrasounds). Not only did I have to tell my friends, family and work I had cancer and then have surgery to have my testicle removed I then had to embarrassingly tell everyone it wasn’t cancer afterwards. The NHS offered me zero support or counselling and basically discharged me with no further treatment. To make matters worse I have chronic debilitating pain in my surviving testicle so I’ve been clinging onto that one for 7 years and have spent over £25k of my own money trying to find a cure. I may need to join this guy soon and have the second one removed but need to have kids first.
I'm going through this now. Battling testicular cancer twice in my life. I'm becoming more mentally crippled by the day. I just go on about my life in auto pilot. Going to chemotherapy with a mindset like hey everyone how's it going. 🤦♂️😔 It really is mentally disabling. I'm trying my best to cope with the deck I've been handled.

I can relate so much to this. I was diagnosed with testicular cancer just over a month ago. Within a week I was on the operating table to have my only teste removed due to being born with only one. Now going through hormone replacement therapy and all those checks to monitor any possible return. For me the biggest support has definitely been learning to talk to other people and be honest and open about how I am going. Couldn’t sleep tonight so watching videos like this because they are encouraging.

I just found out my blue cross blue shield PPO health insurance doesn’t cover prosthetic testicular implants. I have testicular cancer. I rather die with both of my testicals than walk around with one half dead one. I rather die from the cancer. Women have the federal law “Women’s health and cancer” act where it states that their silicone breast implant is medically necessary. But my having my testicals isn’t a medical necessity. Men’s health is hugely ignored.
I just got off my first admission in a cancer ward. I just turned 26 in July, diagnosed 1 June. For men, there is a 9 week wait for me to get any professional help from a foundation or mental health support or anything. There wasn't even a book about testicular cancer in the family day room. I should have photographed the hallways, littered with support and services for women and children and families. But when the Man of the family is affected, you can wait and we can't help your family. Go see if unemployment benefits apply to you. This is my situation and I'm sure the same for many other blokes.

I just found out last week I have a tumor in my right side. Haven’t seen a urologist yet because I don’t have insurance yet. I paid for the ultrasound myself. I can tell you absolutely that I have already thought about the worst case scenario.

Update: Im keeping the left one. Started chemo 2 weeks ago. The first week sucked. Feeling better now only have ringing in my ears.
