Sailing again on the Horizon in Oct 2024. Will be my 3rd time. We wanted to go to the ABC Islands this time. going on the Carnival Celebration next year. As for the elevators!! you will not be able to use them on day one due to the crew getting your luggage to your room. After that it works fine.

Staying on deck 2 AFT, wasnt too happy to see that being i booked this maybe july last year but your information about how comfortable the cruise was that low on the deck really is giving me comfort. Info about certain restaurants being free for lunch is TOP TIER, and the baby sitting being free for one night. You the GOAT lol. Definitely got a subscribe out of me!!

@@Travelwithtoi Oh cool! We're trading ships! LOL. The Magnifica was a little different with the heavy latin influences on entertainment but I still had an enjoyable time. I would sail again. My only major negative was the buffet. Space it tight and it gets congested. If you go, I recommend going early and going all the way to the back! I'm about to binge your Horizon vlogs this week before Saturday! Enjoy the Magnifica!

Going for Thanksgiving to the ABC islands out of Miami. The itinerary is why I booked otherwise I would have probably stuck with RC or looked for a newer ship. I’m still new to cruising so trying to learn as much as I can.

nice review - like someone else commented would be nicer if it was showing footage of the ship with voiceover but still very nice! im guessing being down on the lower decks may be why all that vibration is felt - we are always aft but up on deck 9 and so far out of 6 cruises with carnival ( have actually had 7 with them so far but our first was in an oceanview about midship i think) we've never really felt much motion or vibration, or experienced any soot like some people have mentioned. we will be on Horizon again this August after sailing her this past September -pretty stoked since we will be in Havana area again as well woooo! what deck was the casino on? i thought they had a smoking and a non smoking one - or maybe im thinking of another ship?

Awesome! And you can absolutely eat with them in the family harbor for breakfast. Just go with them to breakfast because their key card will open the doors to the lounge. Have fun!!
Washing hands... Definitely helps the person after you but if there's germs on what you touch it doesn't really help you. Have you thought about wearing gloves at the buffet?
@@tiberiajames5997 I feel that they should at least have a crew member to Encourage hand washing! It's not gonna be 100% but it will help increase hand washing. Also, I guess you skipped the part where I told people to remember to wash their own hands! 😉

Definitely! I washed my hands like 3 times in the buffet..lol and I didn't see many people using the hand washing stations 😞

You can't blame Carnival for adults not washing their hands. They have washing stations for a reason. They can't force them.
