I booked my birthday New Years Eve cruise 2024 on Carnival Horizon. Thank you for your review, I took notes deck 5 & 11 on sea days and spa heated stone chair with frozen wash cloth got it….New subscriber

I was on your second sailing, the 6 day. We really loved JiJi's, we found the food, presentation and service fantastic. We ended up going back twice.

Very good video. I just purchased the 8 day Southern cruise on this same Carnival Horizon for 2025. I purchased two spa cloud 9 balcony rooms. Yes, we are looking forward to the thermal spa. We will be celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary and plus our children will be on winter break during this same time frame. Thanks for the video. Stay safe

Thanks for the video good info. We were on the Horizon 4 Feb for an 8 day Premier. You all may have had the same host we had. Looking forward to our b2b on the Celebration in July as this one will be an elite.
We were on January 21 and 29 sailings so we just missed you. There seemed to be 3 hosts when we were on but one - I can’t remember her name but she was from South Africa - actively avoided us. The other two hosts were great though. Hope you had a great cruise and that’s awesome… a B2B on the celebration as elite! Have a great time and win big!

Great review . I’m going on the horizon this fall. I’ve heard all the ships on all cruise lines are still understaffed. I sure hope for the sake of the hard working crew they hire more people soon!

thanks for the insight guys! will be our first time on Horizon this September - tho we have been on the Vista already will still be nice to see if there are any differences - we will be in a Havana cabin(actually will be on her again twice after this and in Havana those times too mostly because we like the aft balconies on deck 9 with the overhang) definitely looking forward to it!
Awesome! We did a back to back cruise and the second leg had a Havana cabin! We loved it! I think you’ll love this ship! We have heard that the Horizon is slightly different from the vista but in good ways! Looking forward to hearing what you think!
I've been on both I was on the Horizon last October and doing back 2 back in September. I love the Horizon and I'll be on the Vista next May

The last time I went on the Carnival 5 years ago you could not see from one side to the other in the casino because of the smoke, It was just a thick cloud, being non smokers we had to go up one floor pass over the casino and then back down to continue on that floor. Going on the Horizon in May 2023 and I hope they have added ventilation exhaust fans.
They have added some ventilation but the smoke is STILL aweful.
We loved the elevators too! My husband is on a scooter and it is so much easier to get an elevator.

Also, for the elevators, you should click on the floor you want as many times as there people in your party so if there are two of you, you click it twice.
Have y’all done the Carnival Spirit, if so what’s your thoughts on it. It’s coming to Mobile Al. In October. Just curious if you thoughts before I book it
We haven’t Breton on the Spirit yet so we are no help there! Sorry!
I personally love the Spirit class ships. They have a more intimate feel compared to all the other classes.

Is the Vista very similar to the Horizon - know they are the same class? We are on it in the fall, then Mardi Gras again for our winter cruise.
The Vista is in the same class as the Horizon. We haven’t been on the Vista but my understanding is they are similar; the horizon is newer and has a few slight changes. Hope that helps!
That is really going to suck if there's not enough places to lounge on decks. Was looking forward to that adult only area for lounging.
I don't understand how you can have a wait for the dining room when you can choose a dining time and just go sit down at your assigned time. A little confused.
We chose anytime dining and there was a wait for that. I hope I’m explaining that clearly!
And I never had trouble finding a spot in Serenity. And you talked about Deck 5, but you never showed it.

Were you guys just on the 8 day last week? I swear you were in elevator with me. Anyway, didn’t knock my socks off. TOO MANY DAMN KIDS! Why would you bring a 2 month on a cruise??
We were not. We haven’t been on a cruise since February ☹️
@@AdventuresAhead ok must be me. So I agree with every con you mentioned and then some. Not too many pros. The kids was a big thing for me. Why anyone would want to bring a 2 month old on a cruise is beyond me. And there were several. Pools are way too small. Anyway take care
