This is a small tip but as much as it hurts, don't spend a lot of time with akinari until you finish Hayase and/or Bunkichi Akinari doesn't require you to pick the correct options and he is there every sunday. Once you finish Hayase and Bunkichi, your sundays are basically meaningless. You can get the extra rank in so you can spend another day hanging out with another social link, further boosting their rank. Although it may not seem important, this saved me and I was able to max out the last link I needed on exactly 1/30/2010.

Seriously? I just do it as a force of habit. I know Yoshida from P5 didn’t require one, but I didn’t know there was some in this game that didn’t require a Persona.

Maiko is not available on Sundays. You’re probably thinking of Maya.
I already knew to bring an arcana of the person I was trying to hang out with though but good video
also always prioritise SL with very tight schedules like Maya, Akinari, and Yuko and leave out the ones that are often available like the fatass, old couple, maiko or perhaps the star athlete as theyre reserved for holidays and pre exam week.

i started my ng+ runs by unlocking all the locked social links as early as possible and only focused on the ones at school because you can’t hang out with them everyday. (yuko, chihiro, bebe, fuuka) even after i finished them, it’s still the best to prioritize school social links because while on summer and winter break, you can’t rank them up. and because i did that, i was able to max everyone and have 10 extra days left at the end.

Another tip that helped me a lot was prioritizing all the school links, because they’re not available on holidays or Sundays (minus Nozomi and Maya). With as many holidays as there are in this game, it’s definitely recommended IMO to do this. Also, I’d recommend not completing the old couple super early, because they are available a lot more frequently than most of the other links.

Mitsuru I would recommend unlocking before exam week but not actually hanging out with her until exam week. Of the off school social links, ignore one of them until winter break because you'll probably max them out during winter break. Star, Hierophant, or Moon are good candidates for completely ignoring until then. If you're in October, ignore anyone you can't rank up until November when you get the dating site url from Club Escapade which you can use at night to gain extra points.
I feel like you should go to the shrine at night since you go there to walk Koromaru. Maybe have it locked until you get him as a member.

Pretty sure Tanaka is locked behind Maya because I wasn’t able to start his link until Maya mentioned him
So is it RNG if someone sees you walking with Koromaru or is It a set event if you tried to save scum it.
Also I just unlocked the gourmet king is his social link bad or does the community hate him?
His link isn’t as bad as people make it out to be, but it is still one of the weaker ones.
I don’t know if the koromaru thing is RNG. Gourmet king is just an unlikeable character
Im already 60 hour into P3 reload. I didn’t even know you could reverse a link!!! That’s so cool that they put that in! I don’t believe that can happen in Persona 5 Royal. (My first game)

In p3 reload it is best to max all night only SL : tower and devil as early as possible because end game you'll need many night time to grind in tartarus, use the computer to progress SL at school, and mix max persona which is best to do at night

@@joemoak9966In November (after the school trip), you'll get a message from the URL salesman in club escapade. He'll sell you unlimited dating site codes which functionally act like the shrine, but you can use it at night in the dorm from the shared computer.

@@KDThreeSixtyYou can actually get it earlier than that. I visited the club on the 14th and was able to use one.
I think Tanaka *used* to be locked behind Maya in the original versions of the game, where she says she got drunk and he harassed her, that he "talks like a woman", whatever that means. This happened in Rank 4, and he'd be available at the mall during the nighttime afterwards.
As far as I know, this is no longer the case, because I've met Tanaka before Maya Rank 4 in Reload.
i had a heck of a time unlocking all the social links i literally maxed out my last one on the 30th . even on ng+ it's not any easier. the biggest issue for me was I tried to max out the school friends first but at a certain month they all stopped showing up and I would spend the time making out every one who was out side of school then when your team members become available it adds more people. then the final challenge is aegis in the last month. I wish they weren't all locked by school year there were all those wasted vacation days that would have been great to max out a link or two

out of curiosity does the game end if u fail to rescue a social link, is there a specific scene that plays, does anyone know what actually happens? Cuz im thinking its like a "gameover" from failing to finish a palace in persona 5.
I think the social link breaks or reverses but there’s no game over.

No, they simply remain stuck at whatever social rank you left off with them. I know from experience because my brother never realized social links entered Tartarus and didn't save the old man. He was just permanently stuck at rank 9, and the book store never reopened, so there's no way to complete it. I assume if you maxed out the social link before they enter Tartarus, there'd be no real consequences.

definitely having an easier time now that im on ng plus. i got tanaka earlier than i thought i could . i maxed him by the time ken joins which is summer I think. the school links have been slow too. the classmate treasurer are taking forever now
One question I have, is it necessary to keep the persona equipped? Or just having it already counts towards increasing social link points?
They don't need to be equipped
So like question, If i do new game+ do i still do the linked episodes?
Not if you did them already and got the personas

Tanaka isnt locked behind maya thats akinari. Tanaka hangs out at the mall at night and it unlocks late September after u give him 40k yen

@@KDThreeSixty most likely that they were remembering how it started in the older versions of the game, so now just social stats & money is needed for the confidant unlock.
Edit: Apparently u still need Maya at rank 3 also.
