EINO TAMBERG's horn trio "Prelude & Metamorphosis" (1973) was performed in its American premiere at the 2023 New York Chamber Music Festival by ELMIRA DARVAROVA (violin), HOWARD WALL (horn) and THOMAS WEAVER (piano), who presented this wonderful work at concert performances in New York and Philadelphia. The artists have recorded Tamberg's horn trio as a world-premiere recording for their upcoming album "Horn Trios from Mozart to Piazzolla and beyond, Volume 1", scheduled for release in August 2024.
