May I ask, how tall is your child? Almost seems like she would outgrow it soon by height. Almost thought she was closer to 10 by the height in comparison to your wife. Our twin boys are 8.5 as well but short for their age. That or they just have a funky pedal angle, if it was just a pedal bike I would skip this due to that alone.
She's like 4'4 my wife is only 5'4, she's a shorty so she looks big compared to her. I'd classify this as a throttle bike only since the seat can't be adjusted

Nope! There sre state laws in the USA saying 16 years older to operate an ebike. I have seen too many kids getting hurt or killed riding them.
Check laws, but yeah kids can get hurt, they normally get hurt on adult speeds, at 7 mph and supervised probably won’t get badly injured
Well , used to have kids watching crops before the invention of the scarecrow..still probably better for underdeveloped to have advanced tech unsupervised.
Kids will get hurt. I suppose you could shelter them forever, but I grew up riding dirtbikes with my friends for hours a day in the summer. Heck, half the time our parents didn't even know where we were I don't think.

How is this thing aged up to 12 y.o.? Doesn't look like the seat offers seat height adjustment nor handlebar height adjustment
It looks decent just needs longer ride time especially at that ride time.
Probably cost 3-400 to build
I dolike seeing the throttle on the right side instead of left side. Which holds me back on trying a ebike.
