I've found this lich and his story quite interesting, as it intersects with Netherese lore (a bit), Elminster lore and its a lich. I think it might be quite an interesting balanced encounter, giving mid-level melee some advantage comparing to fire-ball hurlers. Sorry if I pronounce sometimes his name wrong!
I have no idea where you find this lore sometimes. Great job on the presentation, you give me great ideas for my own campaigns. Thank you for your hard work
I love that despite my love for FR Lore, I've never really heard of this son of a lich lol. Thank you so much Kate for these amazing lore deep dive videos on characters that might not get that lore love otherwise.
Ahh. Very well done and I like the additions to what is on the Forgotten Realms wiki! I just hate that this is so close to my campaign story that I came up years ago by myself without ever knowing about Alokkair or even Shadowdale :D
That’s some crazy, crazy magic😳😳😳 Basically play him as you would any Neutral Evil character (sociopath)… Something else, allow one of the players to find and carry around some random (doesn’t have to be powerful) Netherese artifact… that way the lich will have someone to pay SPECIAL ATTENTION to🙀🙀🙀…. Finally, Remeber this isn’t a usually lich. Anyways.. that you AGAIN!!!!
Lol I couldn't help but laugh at first because first he becomes a ruler then just 30 years later is overthrown by his daughters then the next most significant point in his existence while biding his time, becoming a lich, and growing his power to take his vengeance doesn't happen until 800 years later lol then the next one is only 7 years after that lol I love it lol
