I'm waiting for the day you give that Makita Gnome a snickers and it turns out to be Vince just being hangry.
Hahahahahaha, this is getting pinned 👊👊👊🤣🤣🤣
😂🤣😂🤣😂
🏆
Omg that is genius right there and it's funny could you imagine
🤣🤣🤣
The major flaw is that it is 225.00
😅
Im not even gonna mention what that is in CAD after 15% tax
Hahaha 🤣👊
Water dirt mud and snow. As close as those wheels run to the body of that chest, in certain conditions you’ll wind up dragging that thing and the wheels will not be turning.
Really like mine but I find that the BIG PROBLEM is the orientation of the chest on the top. I mean, if you put two shelving units, you can only open one because the other one it in the same direction so you have to remove it before opening it...
Now if someone can create a reversed mounting plate as a work around....
@@Jim-xl4pdI’ve created reverse mounting plates. Same rigid durable plastic, barely adds height or weight to stack, and locks in. I have the plate set for sale or I can sell you the template if you have the printing equipment yourself.
That thing is actually STRONGER than described because I’m sure Milwaukee was referring to an evenly distributed load across the lid of 250 lbs. Your weight was concentrated to your feet and at one point just one foot. I have mostly DeWalt stuff but these Packout products are incredibly impressive. That’s pretty nice-like fo sho. 👍
The only Milwaukee products I own are packout. I own Dewalt everything else and I don't regret switching to Milwaukee just for the packout, it is just so much superior.
This box is bigger than I thought. I am still waiting for Reee oh beeeee boxes. Between the makita Gnome, your evil twin and VCG , you got it pretty rough brother. Happy to see your not backing down. Glad you showed this box.🔥👍
Unfortunately, I'm starting to feel outnumbered John 😢 wait.... I thought it was RIIIIIII-OOOOOO-BEEEEEE 🤣👊
ReeObee box is not that good. U can find video on utube
@@ToolReviewZone you can take them. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 riiiiii-ooooo-beeeee, mill-walka-i-a , Dee-a-blo and Dee-walt. You are Deee-besss!

@@ToolReviewZone where to buy the toolbox
Not a contractor or anything, but I’m probably getting one of these. I’ve been using either a soft flight bag, or a crappy rolling tote to transport my kit to and from ranges, and to work(to go out to training), but I like the idea of using this and the other packout stuff to organize all the different items I need before heading out (if anyone has ever looked at military specific gear like this, it’s just as or more expensive 😂)
I was looking at it last week,to me the major mistake is they made the locks for add on on the same direction so if you want to remove the toolbox that you put first, you have to remove the one in front,it would be so simple to put one by the back and one by the front,
I don’t think it’s a mistake. It seems very intentional. With the way the boxes lock it keeps them secured in a way that creates compression when the box is being rolled. If the back box was turned then the latches would be in tension and could be more prone to releasing or breaking.
It looks like it was set up inside for some dividers and one large divider or something else. I would like to see what that's about and how they work or maybe just a good look inside. Also, Internal and external dimensions would be useful.
I’ll give Milwaukee credit, LOVE THE SPACE it provides, but maybe the wheels need to be a bit bigger, or be a wee bit closer to handle for better leverage, although bigger wheels might just do that. Who knows.
After playing around with this, I mean doing testing and “scientific review material”, I’ve found that when loaded up inside and stacked w/ packouts……can be “clunky” and maneuvering around and thru object means….GOTTA WATCH WHAT DOING, cuz this ain’t your sub compact/compact 3-piece rolling packout; this more like driving cargo truck/bus😉
WHAT IM SUPER STOKED ABOUT, SEEING ALL THE PACKOUT MODDERS OUT THERE GO CRAZY AND HAVE FUN TURNING THIS BEAST OF A BOX INTO SOME VERY INTERESTING “TRICKS”😁
Awesome comment and feedback brother 👍
Lol another great one TRZ. keep at it, persistence pays off, youll get him one day👍 I really like the form factor of the Milwaukee trunk. Ive got lots of Dewalt tough system boxes but my everyday tool box is actually a Craftsman model CMST24800 tool chest that I bought at Lowes because it fits in my truck bed with a bed cover. Its also bigger and can hold more tools then any of the rolling stack boxes of the stack systems.
Thanks for the awesome feedback and comment Sean!!!!
when you got everything in box. tools and power cords. how much dose it weight. and get it on your truck. if have a lift gate on the back of truck? mobile .
I was a little confused at first with the lid too. Now, I love it. Best pack out addition by far.
Kind of want this, I wish they'd design it with a pivoting handle so it can be stacked like the original roller box. I've got a ton for that.
So I wonder if you could use the new wall hanging accessories on the lid of this and use it standing on its end rather than laying on its back? And can the tool tray slide into what I’m assuming is slots for dividers?
Needs power assist, using Milwaukee batteries and a on board charger. Nice video!
Yep, gonna be my next purchase. My Makita tools will appreciate the space and the security. I been sporting Team Teal in my other Packouts and I have yet to be let down. My tools get dusty dirty from the work, not the ride to and from. Thanks for the review.
Are there no dividers for the box to keep everything from sliding to one side when you lift it up to Roll it?
What would you recommend to use to keep my M12 Drill, Impact, Hackzall, Light, and Screwdriver in? I need a decent small tool box for on the go. I'm a service tech, so I'm constantly moving from place to place.
@@primordialsoftware9294 thanks man! I appreciate the response!
Looking forward to seeing you stand on the Ryobi Link storage boxes when they come out (next month?). I have my doubts whether they will hold up as well. They may be better for catching that Kalita though…
DUDE you crack me up!! Love the reviews. Even agree with most of them. You da man
Hahaha, thanks for the comment Kevin 🤣👊
Dude weighs 240 pounds and couldn’t finish a single rack of ribs!
PSH…SMH!
Bet the Makita Gnome can finish a rack of ribs before TRZ could! 🤣🤣
🤣😂🤣😂
🤭😂🤣😂
YOU KNOW I HAD DIGESTIVE ISSUES ON THAT TRIP.....WHY DO YOU HATE ME SO MUCH!?!?!?!?!
Was no Mt Dew provided? 🤔🤣
Thanks Clint, I bet you could fit Vince in that packout 😎🛠️😎🛠️😎
Lmao Ted 🤣🤣👊👊👊
Lol thanks for the video and the laugh. Good stuff! If I had to guess I’d say your from Dayton Ohio , you just remind me of people from here. We all have a few lose screws in this town for some reason lol.
Hahaha close.... youngstown 🤣👊👊👊
Great review! Haven’t seen anybody else cover this.. has my interest peaked for more than just tools. Seems like a great pelican competitor for hauling gear in the truck
Thanks for the comment Nick!!!!!!! 👊
I was using the 2 rigid 22inch tool box to fix most of my tools. For my situation, this packout would work even better then XL
Yes of course I spent 250 for a tool chest , no we can not use it to keep Christmas decorations in !…. Yes I will bring it up from the basement cuz that where the xmass decorations are now lol
My buddy has the pack out, and I have tough system, I can easily separate the boxes no matter what's stacked in mine. Both him and I have problems unlocking and separating them, but when you come down to it they're basically the same
The actual MAJOR FLAW with this is that both packout slots are facing the same side, which means you cannot remove whatever is mounted in the back unless you remove the boxes on the front. If they made the slots facing opposite sides you would have access to either slot without removing the other.
Better yet, if they made the slots face the front (opening side of the chest) then you could even open the boxes without them touching the other. This is a bad design and whoever came up with it doesn't actually use a packout on a daily basis.
I thought that was going to be the major flaw on this, but apparently the gnome was more important. I was thinking the same thing.
was looking for this comment, woulda bought it otherwise but that is a deal breaker for me. its just a stupid design
Of the three ways to design the way things lock in, this is the worse. It does have the advantage of "strength" in that if something fails to lock in place, when you lift it won't slide off.
@@joet3935 true, but why not design it front to back? Such a weird design system though lol
@@noelv1976 if they had designed it front to back they could only fit one box top instead of 1 on each side.
Speaking in terms of keeping the exact same dimensions.
Also
If they had designed it with the 2 boxes locking in opposite direction they could not have added the sliding arm that holds the lid locked open.
This is the only design where they could keep the dimensions of the box and add all the features they wanted, there was no mistake, it's well thought out.
Inconveniences and all.
Like a God brother 😇🙏🇺🇸 You need a little help. But unfortunately living in New York the Home Depot by me still has not even got the Milwaukee packout drawers and that's pretty sad. 👍
Nice that I’ll be able to fit it in my f150 and still be able to close the bed cover. Good tool 👍
Loaded up with tools and a couple packouts on top, I imagine it'll be heavy af to load onto a truck several times a day.
So when I'm working can I stand it up and clip my totes on?
Not sure, looks like your supposed to give it to Jeff Dunham to store Bubba J, Walter and Peanut in, ha ha ha! I will pass!!!
Where you get the black with red trim box
Nice legs! I always
need a doctor after your funny videos cuz you leave me in stitches!
Lol omg 🤣🤣👊👊👊
I I think that Milwaukee box is nice I wouldn't put too much on it it makes a great box for the packout backpack and a few other things
Makita gnome going to love me in December, might be buying the 2 battery kit with free router, or ratchet, sorry trz but ridgid isn't on my bucket list 🤣🤣, do want the ryobi wall link storage system
Already got mine
Loaded my tool chest and it weighed 142 lbs when shipped. Going from Florida to California.
Let’s see if this thing can manage going across the U.S. while being thrown around from truck to truck.
I’ll say this though, with all that weight, getting it in and out of the truck was tough. Even rolling it 100 ft to the truck was more difficult than I anticipated.
How did it hold up?
Yea how’d it hold up?!
I bought husky’s role around storage about 5 yrs ago for around 50 it’s bigger a lot cheaper, of course Milwaukees is nicer but not 250$ nicer! I’ve smashed my fingers a couple of times rolling it because of the handle goes all the way in, seems that Milwaukees does to! 🤔 smash that like button but not your fingers
@@jmackinjersey1 True, but at that price you can put some of their tool boxes inside to organize all of it more... to each their own.
@@jmackinjersey1 yea the big one with the tray in it.
Yeah I just bought mine choose for a cool ice chest my big shindig this weekend and Camping storage I love the Milwaukee. Also someone noticed before me about the dividers? Hmm
Will an MX fuel power station fit inside this? Maybe if you take the roll cage off first?
As always your video is entertaining and informational! Keep it up brother!
Thanks Luke!!!!!
Considering your recent visit to Ryobi, how do you compare this to their similar chest?
I don't really get this. It's a big tub. If you put a bunch of tools in there and then tilt it up to roll it, the tools will roll around all over each other, getting dinged up and their cords tangled, etc. Can somebody tell me if I'm missing something about how this is supposed to be used?
I resemble that!!
Honestly should of got that over the Home Depot pack out deal. Is it smaller or larger then the roller and medium box stacked?
I think it's real naice like! Thanks for the review. Many nice features. Low the video by the way.
But what if I like little chests? 😂🤣😂🤣
I think thats Vincenzo in a gnome outfit.
I'm starting to hear the same things from others Renato. Things are adding up for sure 🤔👊
I noticed slots for dividers, does it come with dividers, or is that a DIY thing?
Maybe something they are coming out with in the future 🤔
Watching you is better than Netflix!
Hahaha, paid subscription 🤔🤣👊 Thanks Padma 👊
I grabbed this the day it came out last month specifically for a camping trip. It was awesome and housed my two other packout boxes perfectly. Things a beast!
Thanks for the comment Robert!!!
Can you put the 2 and 3 drawer packout next to each other
I love Milwaukee pack out .my brand has know made there oun though flex
I made a vid on the Flex. It's great
Great video. Very entertaining. Thanks
I purchased the chest and stupid thing doesn't stack with other chests missing the connector s on bottom really dropped the ball on that love Milwaukee but what the heck......
Hay brother??? Do you think it's to big just because the original Milwaukee packout that's half the size I know when you overload it the box becomes pretty heavy and this basically twice the size is it too heavy to load into your truck or out of your truck or even up the stairs of a job site. Also hope everything is going well just been so busy with demo jobs. A lot of work going on here in long Island. I'll ttyl brother 🇺🇸💯👍
Bigger is better brother. May not be for all as it could definitely take up some space, but me likes
I make a video, you make a.... nah I'm just playing. I didn't make this, but where for art thou gettest that black box?! ANd whyt he heck did they make it so the boxes face the same way? I see a revision in the future, and I don't want to be an early adopter.
Don't fit the m18 miter saws... Big fail for me as I been waiting on one to replace a big husky box that fits m18 mitter
My bad buddy, I told vcg about the gnome… they are working together now 😱😱😱
I KNEW IT!!!! 🥺
@@ToolReviewZone only through trials do we become stronger. I was proud of you trying to take on the gnome, you handled your business, lol
It’s a nice rolling box. I’m still waiting on Home Depot to get more Ridgid 28” rolling boxes in stock…
But will it fit in my Subaru?? My other boxes are nice and organized in the back for my days work..
Okay, this is funny, mostly to the point. I like it! The rolling bin standing up at 90° seems a little messy for the contents, but, yeah.
It should be 4 in longer and 3 in taller
You rock the videos mister. Keep up the humour....peace
Saw it at the depot today. But it’s a beast and my Ford Transit 250 is already “packed out”.
Hahaha. I see what you did there 🤣👊
@@ToolReviewZone I figured you’d like dat!
You know that gnome would probably just turn himself in if you used a makita box . He saw that milwaukee box it put the fear of God in him. Put out saltlick or corn you'll catch him or vince.
Lmao 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
Handle should be on the bottom for easier uses . However I still own M packout with dewalt tools because I only care what’s best not brands
Dude, you crack me up man!
Hahaha, thanks Dan 🤣👊👊👊
has anyone tried checking one of these at the airport? any issues?
That was especially funny to me as people say I look like a real life yard gnome 🦉
VCG made a good point. The mounting clips on top should be facing opposite directions.
EPIC footage of the Makita gnome! You got real nice like video surveillance.
Hahahahaha, just installed the camera, good thing I did hahahaha 🤣👊👊👊
So glad I don't have packout fever! Maybe one day, but not yet lol. Pretty content with my 2 18" dickies tool bags. Nice thing about being an electrician, I can buy baby powered tools :P
Great Video! thanks for the review A+
Thanks brother 👊
@@ToolReviewZone Shout out from Tijuana, Mexico
the price is nutts I will try to make my own chest to keep all my power tools
Tons os mud collecting spots on the base and by the rear wheels. That is enough to say nope for me.
are those radial tires
so that's what taking my tools ,a gnome, and i thought the guys on the job were doing it or even some tools can grow legs and walk away...good review , think I'm gonna look into one of them thar tool chests
I'm a traveling carpenter/supervisor I work for a national company and they give us rental trucks and whatever. I e been eye balling this for a minute but idk if I need them or not
Takes up some room for sure, but I love it. Tough as hell
The only issue I would see is when you stand it up or have too much angle on it the stuff in the tray could fall out and end up at bottom of chest.... other than that I like it 👌
Agree. They should have incorporated some hinged covers for that tray. If I'm not mistaken, my Husky roller had that feature.
The flag is that all the weight is on your arm when you pick it up
Good review and very funny!
I have so much Packout already that I just can't justify a need for this rolling box. I have (2) of the GIANT HUSKY rolling boxes and I think its filled with paint and sheetrock crap for around the house.
Only so much room brother 👊
This was funny bro. That packout is real nasss like. Makita show the man some love already!! It's been how long??? 🍻
Hahahaha, thanks Dain 🤣👊👊👊
Why is nobody talking about the fact you need to take off the front boxes to get to the back stack... maybe turn them back to back.
That pesky Maskita gnome. 💪🏽
Smeeesh that like button. 👀👉🏽 👍🏽
He's so pesky brother, and thanks for the SMEEESH Jason!!!!!
Love my other cartoon channel 🤣🤣, but you forgot to filler up & show how much stuff she’ll hold on the inside. For exterior ruggedness, hit it with a sledgehammer, sling it across the room and slam it down on the floor to see if it holds up 👍👍
The top should have the locking mechanisms at 90 degrees. Not all facing the same way
I want one
😂 you’re to much Clint.!! Vance is to worried about being cool I prefer a little comedy love the channel keep up the good work.!!!!
When is the Reeeobi link setup coming out? Careful with the Smersh, you don’t want to lose it again!
I believe December 🤔
I got no use for it. But I like the video!
🤣👊
Did you eat paint chips as a kid?
Milwaukee gave me a tool box stair case perfect for these tilt wall buildings !!! This is real nice like!
Edit: after further review the ruling on the field is incorrect; NASS LIKE , is the official understanding and so shall we rule
Real nass like 🤣👊
TM that ... Thanks for the correction... Reeobie 😂
Hahahaha 🤣👊
I'd like to see you load this thing up with all your packouts and tools and then try and move it more than 20 feet. That Makita Gnome really kicked your ass.
Clint is 240 lb of mountain dew 😂 do the dew
Hahahaha, only about 80% TC! 🤣👊
The cleats are facing the wrong way. If you have two stacks of packouts. One stack on the left and one on the right. If you want to open or take of the stack on the right, you have to unstack the entire left side.
A up Brother… great video mate just one thing that concerns me… when it’s full with all your tools don’t you think it’s going to be a tad heavy to lift in and out of your van….. just a thought.. other from that Real Nass Like 👍
Guess it depends on what you got in there, but the handle on the back will come in handy if you have help 👊👊👊
