The new tool 1/72 Airfix Defiant has that same shark mouth scheme. It's a really nice kit. If I were you I would build it instead of this old one.

God remember building that the model came out OK but hate the black plastic so messy to work with
I’m not a fan of black plastic neither, nice idea, you could still get the look of the plane on the box without the paint….. kinda
