    How could you not know about his sister? It’s been widely reported that she is the next person in line and also absolutely brutal just like her brother ever since the assassination of their other brother. That was several years ago.

  • @gregparrott
    @gregparrott 11 місяців тому +16

    When Kim Yo Jong first appeared in public (2018?), the picture of her smiling cast a favorable first impression.
    But that quickly faded. Her words, actions and ice cold stare (as shown on the book's cover) will send chills down anyone's spine.
    You could imagine her 'pressing the button' because someone looked at her too long, or just because she had a 'bad hair' day.
    I hope China understands that if she went ballistic, the fallout from north Korea will drastically affect the neighboring areas of China.

    • @boobopish

      Oh China understands that all to well. And the Kim dynasty knows that China knows this.

      @@boobopish On a separate topic, several replies lately, including yours, show TWO alias names.
      In your case, the email notification of your posting shows "Yogi bear-23", yet your comment here shows "@boobopish".
      How does this work?

    • @boobopish
      @boobopish 11 місяців тому

      @@gregparrott Yeah thanks for pointing that out. Actually I noticed that about a month ago and tried to find out why, I still haven’t had an answer. I don’t like it, but I suspect it’s because I changed my handle about 6 months ago and it seems to have kept both. But no, I’m not a bot if that’s what you’re eluding to.
      That pic you see of me is also not my real pic. I’m however happy to keep it that way for privacy and security.

    • @gregparrott
      @gregparrott 11 місяців тому

      @@boobopish Thanks for the reply. I did not make any association between the two name and a 'bot'. I was perplexed about this because I've seen a substantial number of such instances. At least now, I can understand the mechanism may be some lack of synchronization in UA-cam's database.
      I've seen other bugs as well, such as in the number of reply comments existing under a root level comment. Sometimes when you click 'Reply' to an email notification of a comment being posted to you, the number of comments you'll see differs from what you'll see if you just search UA-cam for the video, view it (as though it was your first visit) and then find the root comment.
      As for the photo, I always assume they're not 'real'. I don't bother posting any photo.
      P.S. You meant 'allude', not 'elude'.

    • @boobopish
      @boobopish 11 місяців тому

      @@gregparrott Thanks for pointing out my spelling mistake, sorry about that.
      I didn’t know that about UA-cam, and you’re right, I do just go to reply through my email, I’ve never thought to do anything else tbh, so thanks for pointing that out too.
      It is annoying to have more than one handle tbh, maybe UA-cam could fix this on the back of our comments, I won’t hold my breath on that one tho. 🤣😂🤣
      Nice talking to you, and thanks for keeping the interaction respectful and agreeable.

      You're in one, and the worst part about it is that since you don't think you're in one, the government literally is less responsive than dictatorships to public opinion. The blame in the USA and other large democracies gets buck-passed constantly, so elites can just pass whatever they want against what is publicly popular. Since the blame is diffused, everybody has a plausible out. "I'm just one congressperson, so it's not my fault", "I tried to change this, but the courts shut me down". Whatever the borg wants, you're fucked, where at least whatever happens in North Korea can be blamed on Kim.

      It seems like every time N. Korea is ignored for too long, they start "missile testing" and "war games" for attention. It's a pattern I've noticed since the 70s or 80s at least. If Iran especially or any other opponent to the west is getting too much attention on the world stage, then N. Korea will start any nonsense to make themselves more relevant. Of course, the problem is if we don't take them serious to a certain extent, you never know what they might actually do. It's been a successful although annoying tactic for decades lol. Can you imagine even having a position like the Deputy Director of Propaganda and Agitation like the sister holds? Anyhoo, I think that's part of how N. Korea continues to get the time of day from anyone lol. Personally, I'm surprised Kim Jung Un lets his sister become this powerful. If she's not careful and appears too popular or ambitious, he'll probably have her killed or accuse her of corruption or something unless she gets him first lol. Ruthless family politics are very dangerous in these sorts of families! Have a lovely day Deborah! 🕊🍀🕊

      Kim Jong Un doesn't want me dead for being white, so the discussion is automatically over as to whether the NK leadership would be better than US/Canadian leadership.
      As for economy/military? If they magically took over you would probably see a rapid decline in free speech about the NK royal family and government in particular, but arguably an increase in free speech nearly everywhere else. The economy would probably get worse but then slowly liberalize and in a few decades be about at par with the economy we currently have. It would start off noticeably worse but in 30 years be a total wash. Research would also probably improve because the US and Canada explicitly hates a large portion of their high quality, research-potential population and wants them dead in private and out of research/tech positions in public.
