I just ran one of these with a plushie mousse for 5 days in the Hatfield-McCoy trail system single track, about 150 miles on it and not much wear. It grips really great, always felt really planted. Ran a 140 rear Knarly with a plushie mousse and it hooked up great. I'll be buying more of both.
Lemme know how you like it. The review is really good. I tried the M59 and it appears this kenda version addresses the Bridgestone short comings as a trail tire.
Anyone have any time on the 130/80 18 gauntlet? The irc33s has been amazing here in Ohio. Only ran up against a short coming at the flint ridge dualsport in dry , fast conditions . Gets a bit loose when trying to corner hard or grass track off cambers. Was running 10 psi , tubliss 2. Still for a "semi gummy" wearing extremely well with great traction where you need it most to save your bacon at times.
How does this tire compare to the Shinko 546? I live in So Cal where rain is an unusual event. I'm going to convert to tublliss on my next tire and I would apricate your recommendations.
There is no better front tire than the Shinko 546 for desert offroad riding. I prefer using a mousse and never getting flats or fooling around with the 2 valve stems of the tubeliss.
Thank you Jeff for your such informative evaluations and critique on products. Really appreciate it.

This should have been a 5 minute video.
