I got the k270s for my XR250L And I didn't understand why that floaty feeling kept happening in certain circumstances but it's pretty rare it doesn't happen all the time but your explanation helps me understand why it happened. In my opinion I really like these front and rear Kenda k270s tires they pretty much do it all very well! I take them on the highway I go freaking 70 miles per hour without a rim lock (I really should get a rim lock). The tires I had before were basically 20 year old death traps that were really knobby with a lot of Tire rot so in comparison these k270s are super smooth on the trails and on the road they gave me the confidence to lean on the turns those old tires give me anxiety and I fell a lot compared to this 270s Tires stick to the ground Like Glue haven't had my bike fall since I've installed them.
I put shinko 700s on my Drz 400s because they are rated as 60/40 street/offroad. To my surprise they were much worse ON the street. The shinko 244 is on the rear of my bike now and my previous Drz. Nice and grippy for a true 50-50 tire. The front 244 is not the best for loose stuff offroad but is great in road with the tighter spaced tread lugs. The shinko 700 Tread lugs were just so deep and soft it was terrible on the road IMO. I literally took it off before I hit 100 moles on it. The Dunlop d-606 I had handled better on road than that shinko 700...
Good vid man, have a set on my Aprilia Tuareg (70cc xD) They hold up really great on single track, like pretty unbelievable for a 50/50 tire like this and just didn’t expect it for this price
Thanks, I was looking for someone to share their experiences. I'm running Shinko 705s, which completely suck off pave - but I also like running tarmac twisties, and city commutes. Time to buy a second bike...
i got BFG KO2 on my SUV n K270 on my KLR650 it does feel similar..(just good enough for off road and just acceptable enough for onroad) but u know u got it all what ever u need to drive through..
I toured these tires for a season on my klr 650 fully loaded and just did a season of regular commuting and I’d say I have one more season left in the rear and another 2-3 in the front. Probably the most confident tire I’ve ridden on in the rain.. a little soft, but still quite good longevity out of them. Not the greatest on or off road, but let me just say that I think I’ll just be buying these for my klr from now on.. just like how I only love dunslops (dunlop) q3+ for my zx10 and zx14.. I tried a s21 again, and though it’s fine, the q series are SO much better
Would these tires be okay for my Honda XR650L? It's a heavy bike, about 360lbs. I do mostly street and some light trails. I do want an affordable knobbie, I don't like street tires on dirt bikes
romain chappaz I’d run 12 psi if I’m riding a lot of dirt. 18 psi for a mix of on/off road. 21-22 psi on road. I carried a small bike pump in my back pack if I had a lot of hwy to get to the dirt roads.
@@dannymcc16 what happend to the DRZ..? time for an upgrade?..just added a drz to the fleet so i dont trash my dl1000..its a pig in the dirt but will hold its own on the asphalt even with tkc80s

I’m getting a set for my 13 XT 250.👍 thanks for the good review
I just ordered these for my 250 rally. Hope it goes ok.
The white drz looks dope. Can’t wait to get a bike again.
wow trails look amazing! thats the stuff I love to ride. thanks for the review im planning to get these tires
No problem. Thank you
Had a pair and they last forever i changed mine after 11000km which is 6800miles. There great for rain on street to luv them.

Btw, how long did your tired hold up?
Bam I’m your 300 like
Well you can’t beat the price my goodness
This is what I like to see, same bike, have 700's on the dirt wheels now and curious about other options and how they work. 👍
Do you run rim locks on yours ? ... I do and if I air down my 700's they aren't too bad and sliding is predictable for me
Man you have some nice roads over there!
Just got some k270s yesterday for my WR250r. Haven't mounted them yet but I hear good things. BTW love the music. Mac Dre Boy!!!
Hi, I would like to know the tire size you 've bought. I own a are too. Thank you.
Like ur video,I'm trying to find a new tire now.looking at either a 50/50 or a70/30.
Took the 270s on some trails. Pretty good so far
I have heard that the front K270 can get the speed wobbles on road . I have no experience to confirm this.
Just found your channel from watchin Carnegie vids. Lol I just ordered k270s for my 250 yesterday thanks for the review. Also in the bay area.
What kind of 250?
@@dannymcc16 I have a plated TTR250 are you on IG? Im just on the other side of HWY 4 lol
I have low sided one time on pavement and it was with those tires. Pretty good in the dirt though.

Rockwood Joe you always need two
Tramlining is the word I think you were looking for.
which one is better bro? kenda k270 or dunlop d605?
Taking corners with knobbies definitely adds pucker factor 😵
What size rear tire did you have in this video?
How do the Kenda 270's (rear) compare to the D606 (rear)? Thanks!
just put a set on my XR650L and love them on the highway and street so far. It feels like I BFG all terrains on my bike if you will.

Helping us out even though it's "Not Your Job" (song)
I think you should always go slower with knobbies . Do you have a update on the mileage you got ?
what size did u use on your drz400s?
Have you ridden standard off-road tyres to compare?
Not yet. I'm getting a set to ride strictly off road and compare.
What size are they?
How are they after 3 years now ?
How did the end up holding up long run? I run Michelin Anakee Wilds and love them but looking at these as well jw

@@DanMarcelino With 'these', do you talk about the k270's?
@@VideosDeCosasVarias yes 👍🏼
How many miles did you get out of them? Front and rear.
4:46 yes. I know exactly what you are talking about.
Very "realistic" review from a consumer's standpoint.

Z L yeah they would be great. Just make sure to drop the tire pressure on dirt.
Are those fireroads in Hercules?
They are.
2.75 or 3.00 in front?
Not my job sick beat bro! Thizz or Die you beezy
what pressure are you riding off road. i use 15 psi and find the tires ride a lot side to side. have a xt250

Hey Danny. Is that an SM you're riding? If so, what size K270s did you choose for front and rear?
Paul Anlauf it’s the S model.
Forks might be twisted in the triple clamps
monocogenit1 the bike is long gone.
O'Dannyboy ...someone else’s problem then
