I plan to make airsoft Silverballers (47's modified Hardballers from the Hitman games) using this gun and a Pachmayr Rosewood and rubber grip. Hell, I might as well make two while I'm at it!
I don't know anything about gun mechanics but I saw another review on one of these and the guy said his slide was getting stuck in the back position every 1 in 5 or so shots. i am now a little wary of this one..
you'r 1911 is still working propely? because i read that we tech is bad, the gun explode, and things like that. i like tu buy this model but does anyone knows if the 1911 colt by kwc cybergun the full metal co2 version is better of this we 1911?
Just one more thing... if you would... I'm about to buy my first Gas Blowback Pistol and I guess W.E. is near perfection for me to buy but I need your advice.. somethin' like that... about reliability... like 1-10 rating 1 being the lowest and 10 the highest. Thanks and God Bless BTW :D

Yes. If your orange tip is plastic, it comes straight out. No twisting.
I would give the 1911 about an 8 out of 10 on reliability. Its an awesome gun, but performs poorly in 50 degree weather or under.
i got that gun a year ago. hasnt broke on me or anything. just a downpart, it shoots only about 9-11 rounds till it runs out of gas.

I let the barrel sit in boiling water for a few minutes to soften the glue, then used brute force to pull it off.
To anyone having their slide stuck, there are probably screws that are loose in the inner barrel so tighten them up
Im not sure about ASGI, but i know that Evike sells them for sure with threaded barrels.
On your opinion which is better, a standards (classic) versions or the tactical m1911a1 with rails, do they have the same parts?
You could barely see the pipe in the barrel. Does it comes like that or did you do some modifications, like screwed it of or painted or what?

My gun came with brown grips, but i just changed them out for rubber ones.

what type or brand of propane do you use?? Or do you use the retail propane from local stores?

Turns out it was my fault. For the past 2 years ive been using a petrolleum based lube.
Petrolleum breaks down o-rings. Co2 mags wont fit in this gun.
Can the gun take KWC 27 Round CO2 Powered Extended Magazines?

The real steel version are "Pachmayr Signature" 1911 grips and they will fit the WE 1911.
