“Except for the helicopter film crew, the ground film crew, the drone operator, the chase truck and my personal physician, I’m going to be all alone” 😂 Epic video though. Well done. What a machine.
Huge respect Nick. HUGE!! And why did it take so many years for you to get a camera crew to film you showing us mere mortals how good you really are on a bike? Or did you hide it from us on purpose?
Having test ridden one on road for a couple of hundred kms, I love it. As an adventure tourer, if I was good enough to do serious dirt, this would be the bike to do it on. It was probably as comfortable as my stock Multistrada.
What a mammoth effort. Can't believe a Ducati achieved this, regardless of the skill & preparation of the rider. Utmost respect for your dedication & riding skills. I learned so much from you & always grateful
Very well done Nick, Alana and Jordi, what an incredible adventure. Well ridden, well captured and very well organised. Makes me want to get back out there…. Loved it👍👍
So ‘the racer in you wants more’ I’d say that’s a hint there are more awesome videos coming can’t wait! Well done to all involved Nick, the team, Ducati and the camera crew, just Fantastic!
Awesome achievement mate! 👍 I have my 2023 DesertX fitted out the same way, but without the rear tank and Rally seat. It's been rock solid reliable for 4.2k miles in 4 months. This has been with summer temps in Texas exceeding 100 deg F. 🥵 My max time on the bike has been over six hours with a 20 minute break. Over half that ride was spent on the pegs. The DesertX is bonkers good when it comes to covering long miles on less then ideal surfaces. If the DesertX was around when I stopped riding back in the 90s, I wouldn't have stopped riding. Mine regularly gets run 15 MILES after the '0' pops up on the TFT. Haven't heard it miss once.
Update; My DDX has 18.3k miles now, and it's been rock solid reliable. Have the DESMO inspection scheduled for next week. Ducati knocked it out of the park with the DesertX.
All that fit into 20mins, spaghetti 🍝 western and tribal beats, what more could you ask for, maybe a 1hr less paced feature would be in order for us vlogger addicts, great moovie mate, well done..
excellent film Ducati! Just wish that air filter was a touch easier to access ;) This make me thing of a prior idea round the fact that why we don' t have a "big ADV" category for these long races. We all know the big bikes (1+ liter) could use a little race DNA to lighten things up for us weekend warriors that spend $$$ because we love ADV bikes. magnificent!
Well done that was a awesome ride, ive never seen anyone ride down then turn strsight around and head back, with out a fuel stop haha. Awesome... i just brough a T7 . Maybe should have looked at the desert X . Unreal for a stock bike 😛 🏁
Beautiful video production. Lovely country. Ducati commercial. I understand....... but I maintain that Itchy Boots would have made it in 30 minutes after you. On her Honda CRF 350 with full gear. Eagerly looking around for a place to sleep and something to eat with a big dusty smile. Like it was nothing.

Hahaha my thought exactly - so funny, man! “Completely” alone : )
🤣
Hard to believe that the suspension is stock. Well done. Desert X is a stand out option...
Well done all! So pleased to be a small part of this big adventure
Thanks for your support and incredible insights Sandy.
Awesome adventure guys!
Huge respect Nick. HUGE!!

Congratulations Team Ducati, a unique combination of art, sweat and vision.
Great job Nikko. you looked absolutely stuffed - but there and back in a day is an increadible achievement!

Fun fact ..this bike is a tribute to the Ducati powered Cagiva Elefant that won the 1994 Dakar 🏁🏆
Very well done Nick, Alana and Jordi, what an incredible adventure. Well ridden, well captured and very well organised. Makes me want to get back out there…. Loved it👍👍
Great work Nick and Jordy and big props to Ducati Oz for getting behind this one. Top effort.

Great job nick , Al out of punishment to enjoy the ride.👍👍

Sign me up if you do
Great job Nick. What an experience. Impressive bike even in stock form.
Bloody good effort, Mate. Well done!
Great vid and effort, well done all - an awesome advertisement for a great bike
Well done, both rider and bike
Congratulations Nick. Great video. You've inspired me. I'm keen to do that ride myself.
Mate! What a ride! Congrats 👏 💪🏼
Bloody hell mate that chopper following ya ,he's nearly taking ya head off 😅😅
Now......the pain in the arse of changing your air filter....great vid and a great bike!
Great achievement. You put my faith back in Ducati. How many Km's on the bike before the race?
Well done Nick, awesome ride!👍👌
Awesome. I love that bike.
Congrats to Nick and the crew.
@Ducati you made an awesome off road bike. Bravo 👏
Now I want to see a Multistrada do it 2 up ;)
Well done Nick. Now to take the Multistrada and do the real race like Miles did a few years ago....
Good ride, what was your time?
Was that Wonka at the start??
What was the ride time there & back & what was the average speed for the day, cant seem to find that anywhere.
I wanna see a quick air filter change!
How many drones you go through on that shoot!? Haha
wow.. i've looked for a trade in for my 22' tracer 9GT for an adventure. never got a call back :/
Great bike and rider..but what an awesome country…
Wish someone would design some rear tanks for yamaha tenere. Plenty of space if side plates removed
Step up and design them yourself. Then market them for everyone else. Beginning of a new business
🏁🇦🇺🏁🇦🇺
Would have preferred this with no dialogue
Alternatively, dialogue focussed on the track itself and what you're doing to keep it upright
I just want one. 😄😆😮😧😩😭☠

✊✊✊✊✊🇵🇹
Really wanted to watch but "welcome to country" killed my interest!
8 min of talks..
Really not that hard, Id hazard a guess and say any adv would easily do that run. Nice advertisement though.
