    Another excellent video bro, glad to see a little snow didn't make you head for home. Back in the 60s and 70s jets from Plattsburgh air force base used to do flyovers up there. You could hear them coming and then zip they would be gone. Will be waiting anxiously for your next trip.

      The final part 3 of this trip should be coming out soon! After that I have a few more Trout and Pike fishing videos on deck!

      Thank you! I always try to stay on the sunny side, even when these trips get cloudy.

    North of Albany, they say you can get snow during any month with an R in it 😆
    When I lived north of Lake George, one year I had 3’ high berms of snow going up both sides of my 400’ long driveway (from plowing) on Memorial Day!!!

    Cool video do you have to reserve these camping spots or is it first come first serve? Where was this ? I’m from the Hudson valley and wanna head out in the spring

    Hey Dax👋
    Really cool trip! Spring snowstorms always makes for a true Adirondack adventure 👍
    I wonder if that was the 10th mountain division flying over head, that was awesome 👍
    Some great fishing looks like, one of these days ya gotta do a feature on what your favorite lures are.
    Thanks for another great video,
    Cheers 🍻

      Thanks Dan! The snow definitely made for an interesting trip! I do plan to do a little video about my fishing setup, canoe and gear at some point here, just need to figure out the best way to do it. Thanks for following along!

    Had to be a bit chilly with the snow! Tip my hat to you for pushing through all those portages! And of course sweet lakers!

      Thanks man! It got a little cold at times, but I managed to stay warm and make the best of the trip. The carries were definitely rough on this trip, just all that mud and draining water.

    Dude! That is the best lean-to in the area! Stayed there last year, early June. And yeah, that route in is rough, mostly uphill. . . Not as bad going back out though. Digging the video! Wish I could organize a longer trip like this. . . it's hard for me to get even 5 days.

    • @DaxWoodsWanderer
      @DaxWoodsWanderer  2 роки тому +1

      It really was great, looking back on the trip the trail would not even be that bad in the summer or fall, in the spring it had just turned into a muddy drainage though and made traversing it insanely difficult. Thanks for watching!

      @glaziersgreatoutdoors9976 2 роки тому

      @@DaxWoodsWanderer I did the same route the second week of May this year, it was still pretty wet in spots, but not terrible. Still mostly uphill on the way in lol! I need to try the route you went out on, that's the only one I haven't tried.
