The reason I don’t like the cover and the bag together is that they’re two totally different styles. The stripes are very bright and beachy and the flowers are softer and leaning more toward vintage.

Love this video! I'm going to look for those highlighters. I have the vintage sarasa pens and I love them. I'm like you too when it comes to highlighters. I use one, then it goes to the back of the line up and then I use the next one. My current highlighters are bold and bright, but I love the ones you are using...especially with that Bible! Thank you for sharing your supplies and method and giving us a look into your Bible. It was so helpful!

Thank you for sharing how you study your Bible and your Bible supplies; the sarasa pens are beautiful and good quality and about the pouch and your bible only 3 colors from it match with your bible. Maybe a different pouch would match better. At the end of the day if it's functional and works for you that's what matters. I also loved the last part of the video where you showed us your planner. I love how you used it and how you broke down your daily to dos. I think I'm going to incorporate that idea to my bujo. I usually do a list for the day, but sometimes, each item has a subcategory and I need to write important things. I.e I homeschool too and in homeschool there's to dos or events that I write down so I don't forget. And I love how your planner has all the bible verses you study. I might just do that too! Thank you!!

You do your study exactly like me. I love highlighters but I do them in a code color. I use what ever I want. Lately I’ve been doing map versing in a notebook and then going back in my margin bible and write a note in it. I’m going to check on the highlighters your using.

Beautiful Bible!!I have wanted the vintage sarasa pens for a long time.This gives me the idea to snag one!!I personally think the pouch and Bible patterns fight each other,but I love florals.The colors are beautiful either way!!

What brands are the muted highlighters? Those light ones
as a quilter, I would never put that pen case with that Bible cover. They fight. The cover has to be the main color scheme. The yellow in particular really fights. Even a solid to match the most vibrant flower or pick up the greens. sorry :( Thanks for the rest of the message! I so want to use my retractable set, but so far my working Bibles won't tolerate them. Bleed through. Shadow is ok with me, but not bleed through. I also love your planner videos!!!

What would a beginner that’s having trouble retaining what I’ve read do? I get discourage from reading because of it.
Perhaps smaller chunks of verses would help. And then maybe pausing after every verse to repeat it aloud; or reading a few verses and then writing down a summery of what it said? Keep at it, even a small amount is going to bless your heart ❤️
I have the Artisan NIV and it's so beautiful! However, the lines if text are so close to each other! I find it really hard ti read. Is the NASB Artisan hard to read, in your opinion? Also, nice catch with the "pure, fine, clear" repetition! I never noticed that before.
Thanks for sharing! I struggle so much with what translation to use. Can you specify why you select NIV and NASB and what others you mention you don’t support and why? Specifically curious about ESV, NET and CSB. Thanks!
My answer is complex and long, but the shortest version is that I believe they are the best English translations of the Bible. They’re the easiest to read while being more literal than some other. I don’t hate other translations, I just don’t think they’re as accurate or readable as NIV and NASB. No hate, just preferences.
I know you didn’t ask my opinion but I honestly would run from the ESV and the NIV. They are one in the same as far as inaccuracies. I would encourage you to research for yourself though. Don’t just take our word for it 😉
They do not go together, but if you like them that is all that counts.

Personal preference but I do not love the floral Bible combined with the multi-colored striped bag. I think if the striped bag only had 2 repeating colors that complemented the Bible, I might like it more. But ALL the colors in stripe form kinda clashed to me.

Love your Bible. It is beautiful. Pen bag, not so much. Stripe doesn't go with soft floral on the bible. Just my opinion. You do you. Thanks for sharing! 😊

I’d say medium- I think the font is 10 or 11. It says online if you want to confirm via my Amazon faves.
