I just found you through Elyssa Nalani and Club 119. Your stickers are beautiful, so of course I had to subscribe! I enjoyed the book, Women of the Word, last summer when I first started Club 119. I’m anxious to read it again as I begin Ephesians OBS today! And finally, I also use the YouVersion app for study plans and to compare versions when studying.

I just bought the Women in the Word Kindle book! I’ve had that book on my Goodreads list for a few years. Love the Mildliner highlighters too! I bought my first set through Amazon and then Michaels started selling them so now I got there to restock once one gets worn out. I’m a Bible college graduate, graduated 21 years ago and I tell ya! I have struggled to find a good Bible study system. I love that there are now Journaling Bibles so that I can take notes in my Bible. I adopted a color code highlighting systems several years ago using about 9 topics. One struggle that I have in studying the Bible is focus and the other is just feeling rushed to get through. It occurred to me by way of God’s revealing that I don’t have to “complete” a study in one sitting. I can use a timer and spend 25 mins and then come back to my study the next day for my quiet time with the Lord. Takes all the pressure off of feeling like I have to “get it done”.
Another great commentary that is used and respected by many Bible scholars and one we used in Bible college is Matthew Henry. You can also find it in the BLB app. I have the physical book as well but cuz I’m lazy and don’t want to walk over to my bookshelf and pull out that big heavy book I open up the BLB app. 😂
BLB app actually also has David Guzik’s commentary.

David Guzik is a good and trustworthy pastor. Obviously, everything has to be compared to Scripture, but he's solid.
I read and study the Bible chronologically and it's been great.

To add pages I like to use tomoe river paper . It's good for fountain pens, drawing and printing; and it's as thin as bible paper so it doesn't add much thickness at all as the notes begin to accumulate. I am curious about trying vellum paper though

Where did you get the grey abide book you showed ?
The mild liners ALWAYS show through on my regular bibles. Which is most of my collection. However they work only on Journaling Bibles because they have thicker pages 👍

For some reason even on my journaling Bibles the mild liners bleed terribly... I must have gotten a bad set cause it goes in really thick...
@@ExisteDiosInc no they do bleed through a lot of my Bibles too. They work well only in 1 Bible from Thomas Nelson ✍📖👍
@@catwoods5499 thank you. I thought it was just me... 🤦🏾🤦🏾🤦🏾 I've been on a journey to find good highlighters and pens for journaling and have found myself failing miserably. I try many things I see on UA-cam but it doesn't translate on my Bible as it does on what I see in these videos for some reason

Thank you! The Ephesians sticker kit is only available to Club119 members, but if you join the next season (starting in September, I believe), I think you get access to past seasons too, so you'd get the next bible study's sticker kit and this one (plus all of the other bible study content). Also, I am going to be creating some faith-based printable stickers that will be available for anyone to purchase as add-ons through Elyssa's website. I'll let you guys know when some of those are finished and available!

The vellum paper is out of stock on Amazon. Went to the website and the item has been discontinued. Any alternative suggestions?
Judie Britt oh no! Thanks for letting me know. I’ll update the link. It looks like they’re still In Stock on American Crafts: www.americancrafts.com/product/ac-cd-scripture-paper-pad/ let me know if it’s in stock when you visit. Alternatively you can find pretty colored vellum on amazon and cut it down to whatever size you need. The idea of using vellum is that it’s thin and slightly transparent so it doesn’t add bulk to your bible and you can see what is underneath it, so any vellum paper will do. Hope that helps!

....I feel like I'm doing something wrong with the mildliners because mine always bleed through and it makes me sad because I love all the colors.
I’m sorry 😞 bleed through typically has more to do with paper quality, so it will depend on your Bible whether they are a good choice or not. You could try a dry highlighter-they have the texture more of crayons and do not bleed through any paper
I tried using the mildliner highlighters on my Bible and they bled through.
Blue Letter Bible has a great app with lots of free commentaries and other resources. StudyLight.org also has lots of study helps for free as well.

Haha noooo, I do my Bible study very slowly and intentionally so it sometimes takes me a whole month or longer just to study one book, but yes, whenever I do fill this one up, I would start a new one.
I like using tip ins, not a fan of covering the words in my Bible

LivelyLisa no I am not catholic. We actually go to a nondenominational church, though my husband grew up in the Pentecostal church, but I’ve never really considered myself a certain denomination other than God’s child and a disciple of Jesus ❤️
Everyone believes that their own particular religion is the correct one. I don't see how you different correct?
