LOVED THIS. I understand what you mean about the devotionals. I was using tecarta app bible devotionals, and while I love the bible reading tools, so many of the offered devotional options felt too much like 'life coaching' instead of pointing to Christ. I found 3 absolutely spectacular devotionals that are formatted in exactly the format that you (and I) love! Tozer on the Holy Spirit: A 365-Day Devotional Tozer on the Son of God: A 365-Day Devotional Tozer on the Almighty God: A 365-Day Devotional These are BEAUTIFUL A5 sized books. The colors on the front are shiny metallic and the cover paper is a thick card stock in gorgeous cream color, and it seems to have a sewn binding. These have been a blessing every day in my devotional time. I think these are ones you would really enjoy. Praying for you daily!
You would really like mornings with the Holy Spirit and Evenings with the Holy Spirit by Jennifer LeClaire. She reads them in the mornings on her UA-cam.

I’ll be joining you in the fear study and also New Beginnings - the two go together. I need reminding that I am a new creature in Christ, a reborn child of God! This should be a reminder to myself that God, He’s got this. I don’t need to fear! I may still fear, out of habit, but Christ died for us, He redeems us, and He has secured our eternity with Him, has victory over Satan . I no longer need to fear anything the devil throws at me, Even when I do, the scriptures including the ones about being a new creature /man will be highlighted with my fear ones to remind me! God has a plan for each one of us. Job is teaching me via the Bible Recap study that I don’t need to be the one in control - God is. I need to surrender to Him. Really and truly. We all do. Love you to pieces sis!

Kinda reminds me of those Christmas angel shortbread or sugar cookies sold at groceries stores that comes with a Christmas tree, Christmas bells..and an angel.
