- I just thought you might want to watch as I set up a portable Bible study tote. I'll show you my Bibles (yes, I have a few!), my prayer notebook, and more as I arrange everything into a carrying basket. Thanks for watching!

Great introduction to study tools, and a great exhortation to rest in the Word. I use The One Year Bible in the NLT, published by Tyndale. Each of the 365 days has an Old Testament portion, a New Testament portion, a Psalms portion, and a Proverbs portion. Through the Bible in a year! I keep a journaling spiral notebook with the Bible so I can write down points, thoughts, questions, etc.
Thank you Diane. This is what we all need, especially during these times.
I like the idea of keeping a small devotional by my bed to read at night.
Thank you for your sharing, Diane! A good reminder to read the bible for me.
I loved this video. I want that tote! Those study Bibles look very interesting!
Diane: you seem very organized with your religious devotion. That tote bag is a good idea. Wow! Impressed. Carol from California
Thank you Diane. I struggle being intentional and organized with Bible study and prayer. This was very helpful!
I got so much from your video. Thank you
Great idea, Diane. I love to organize so this was great to have everything all in one tote.
Beautiful Bible covers.
Blessings!💕
Very helpful, Diane. Thanks for walking us through the various support and study materials you use. From Cheryl in AZ.
Hi Diane. Thanks for doing this! I have several Bibles as well. I’ve been prompted to buy different translations.
The King James and Revised Standard Version were the first 2 I bought. I’ve often sat down with them and read the same scripture in those.
Then I discovered the New American Standard Bible. It’s become the Bible I pick up most often.
For study I also found a couple that contain original Greek and Hebrew with a direct line by line translation and the New American Standard translation in each page. I’ve used those often for study.
Gods Word never changes.
But translation is a fluid thing.
And I’ve often been surprised at the different insights I’ve gained from a different translation.
Hi Diane you have given me such inspiration and a wonderful way to set up my Bible study book. thank you have a Blessed Sunday 💕🌻
Thank you for sharing. The tote is a great idea - great for taking everything out on the porch or even another room. Plus everything is at your fingertips to avoid distractions.
Thank you for sharing your thinking process in setting up your study tote. Very helpful. Blessings to you and your family.
Thank you for sharing Diane. I have several Bibles in different translations. I also find my study Bibles especially helpful. Love your Bible study tote!!! ❤️🙏🏻
Thanks for sharing Diane! Inspirational!
Thank you, Diane, for sharing this. I, too, have several Bibles----each with a different purpose. I am about to complete my current Scripture/Prayer Journal and have been thinking about trying a different approach for my next journal. The Partner Prayer Notebook you shared interested me, so I ordered it along with the workbook and have decided to follow her approach as soon as the current journal is completed. Thanks again for introducing this to us.
Thank you for sharing your Bibles with us, and your prayer notebook and other essentials. I have a "collection" as well -- I primarily read NASB but have some KJVs in various publishings and with notes by Spurgeon, etc. There are just so many good ones, it's hard to stop purchasing them! Thank you for sharing the Gospel and explaining the daily Christian walk so clearly and so well! May He bless you abundantly!
Thank you, Meg! God bless you!
Awesome Video Diane, and very informative. Love the idea of using a tote. Hope you do more video's on this Topic and Bible study and
how you Journal. Sending Blessings x
I love the Bible’s and your studying plan thank you for sharing
Great video. I also have several Bibles that I use as well. I thought I was the only one lol. There seems to be a lot of Christians in the junk journal world. How nice is that.
I also have the prayer project book, it's beautiful with all the succulent pictures 😍
Thank you. This was so nice. I've been thinking all day that I need to get back on track with my Bible study and prayer. This was the perfect video for me to watch right now. Very helpful.
You are so welcome!
getting to know you better Diane. I have books upstairs and downstairs and it gets switched, i accept this.
I didn't realize you were seeking a new community. I missed that share somehow. I love how you say that with trust 'when I find my new church.' in my senior years, community is one of the most challenging questions. I have a lot of people who e crossed. still talk to them.
love your process, thank you.
I love this so much, thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much for sharing your organizing for bible study and prayer time. I have tried a couple different ways but never a tote . I get so distracted at times and then waste time beating myself up for it. I will be getting a tote and trying your tips ❤️
Thank you for sharing this with us Diane. I too have a several bibles. Always in Gods word. I love writing scriptures too. Blessings.
Thank you Diane for sharing!!
Thank you for sharing your ideas :) I have a similar carrier in pink that I keep in my bedroom with similar things including a flashlight in case of power failure :) It has a devotional and whatever book I’m currently reading. My main Bible is by my chair in the living room along with another devotional. I think I’ll set up a new system using some of your ideas that I can move around the house. I need to donate some of my Bibles that has very small print :) Great video 🥰
I enjoyed this so much! I study my Bible all the time and I pray. I love the NKJV but I also do love the KJV. That's what I grew up on. I'm a Baptist too and our church is getting a new pastor. He's very young and we are an older membership. The church was built in the 60's and some of the members have been there since it was started. I hope this pastor will be good for the church. I have to pray a lot about acceptance. I'm kind of rigid sometimes. I have a table in my family room for my Bible study and prayer area because I do also Bible journal. This helped me today Diane so thank you!
Thanks for watching, Kathleen! I grew up with KJV also, and did a lot of memorizing over the years from that translation.
This is great video with lots of inspiration. I know you are a busy lady but it would be wonderful if you could do a short daily Bible study video. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
I love this video ❤
Them nails lookin GOOD!!!!!!!❤
Love this, thank you. I’d have to have post it’s in that tote, though. Tfs
Great video! Gave me some ideas on how to organize myself for my Bible study time! I think I will look for that Spiritual Journaling book. We recently left our church of many years and started to go somewhere else. It was difficult and I don’t feel settled yet. Thanks for sharing!
Yes, you probably heard me say that I've left my church, too. It's very difficult. We're at another local church for this month while my son preaches there, but then we'll be looking for a new church to join.
Thank you for doing this. 🙏
I also recommend for you and others the Cultural Backgrounds Study Bible, The Archaeological Study Bible, The Thompson Chain Reference Bible, The ESV Study Bible, The Holy Land Illustrated Study Bible, The NLT Illustrated Study Bible, a nice Bible Atlas and the Old and New Testament set of the Bible Knowledge Commentary.
Thank you. I already have many of those books. the Thompson Chain was my first reference Bible.
Thank you for sharing this 💜🙏🏼
This was great! 🌴 Wonderful Bibles ~ I have a few of the ones you have: the ABIDE BIBLE (NET) - same cover as yours, the Inductive Study Bible (NASB). Also, I just love your organizational case. The system your have set up for your Prayers is inspirational. I really enjoyed this video. NEW SUBSCRIBER! 🎉
Welcome!
Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for sharing 💕
I dont attend church but would love to know more about how to do this, maybe join you once weekly so I can learn more about how this is done, if the time is ever right for you. As I have told you before, your voice and way of speaking comforts me.
Thank you, Lamona. I will give it some thought!
I have a tote that I keep right next to the table I sit at for study and prayer and it is set up very similar to yours.
Thank you!
You're welcome!
I just rewatched this. How is your tote working for you? I have put a basket together with my daily Bible study and am happy with. When I was doing mine today. You came in to my mind God lift you up.
I changed things up again. I got rid of enough crafting stuff that I could set up a Bible study area in my office, with my desk and bookshelf. But I will redo my tote so I can carry it to the couch for a cozy prayer time when I don’t want to study at my desk.
Hello thank you for sharing your tote setup this has helped me steam line mine. Could you tell me if the my partner payer notebook is available and where one could purchase it from, it seems like such an amazing and guided system. Thank you 🙏
Thank you. Yes, you can purchase it on Amazon. www.amazon.com/My-Partner-Prayer-Notebook-Classic/dp/0967719836/?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_w=j2aBu&content-id=amzn1.sym.dde481d7-92dc-42ce-a703-f1bc175e21c6%3Aamzn1.symc.d10b1e54-47e4-4b2a-b42d-92fe6ebbe579&pf_rd_p=dde481d7-92dc-42ce-a703-f1bc175e21c6&pf_rd_r=X69D37Q7JVDV36HRGTMP&pd_rd_wg=Lzsgs&pd_rd_r=d0f23cab-5c0e-4792-9d80-fa216a5b42b3&ref_=pd_gw_ci_mcx_mr_hp_atf_m
