Tom Edwards Thames Television in vision announcer takes continuity to a new level by filling in 'live' on air for a whole 5 minutes following a technical glitch when the next programme was not available.

I think it was a month later after those technical faults that his boss came to him and said...."You did a great job, well done". And Tom Edwards asked him..."can I send you an invoice for my new pair of trousers"?...and his boss said..."certainly not....! but I can pay you for the dry cleaning"!😊

He’s sooooooooooo cute here! I just love it when news people crack up or ad lib on the air or don’t take themselves too seriously…shows that they are just as human as the rest of us are.
