I loved seeing 'Holly in the wild' with Mia and your PT. Such a breath of fresh air to see you having fun whilst navigating your fitness journey. Great vid, Holly! Keep up the amazing work!
I’m just getting back into running after an almost decade hiatus! I’m doing a 100 miles for the month of October challenge (about 3.25 miles a day) and your videos are motivating!
I've never dermaplaned but in my early/ mid twenties I had a very similar issue to you, when you showed photos and close ups it looks exactly like how my breakouts did. I can honestly say my saving grace was a very simple skincare routine and above all double cleansing. Double cleansing with an oil cleanser first has changed my skin. I don't even use expensive stuff, just the Simple Brand! And just be so disciplined with picking. I also was a picker but I have trained myself to stop as its so bad for getting rid of them
Your PT session is so real and raw, there is no sugar coating with you. You are as genuine as they come and i'm living for your videos. Literally not remembering what leg you just worked on lunges or not remembering how many reps you've done is the gym girl reality 🤣 😀
Definitely love the old camera quality more :)! and I am notttt bothered by your running content at all! It's super motivating to watch your videos at the gym!
absoultely love love your weekly vlogs!! can't wait to binge watch all of your new content!! also because of you im looking into doing a half marathon next year!!🥰✨🍂
Another great vlog! I’m a busy working mum of 5 and when I get a moment to myself (which isn’t often) lol love relaxing and watching these! Also running my half marathon Sunday after 16 weeks of consistent training! Looking forward to it now 😊
Love your longer vlogs Holly, so inspiring! Would also love to know what sunglasses you run with? You have given me the inspo to start running again but I live in Australia so can’t run outside without sunnies ☀️ Also I didn’t notice the camera quality? Seems all good to me! ❤
Holly this is one of my favourite vlog and your vlogs are too too too comfort to watch you are my inspiration and I wish you have a beautiful weekend 🤗💫💗
I'm just getting into running I've done a few 5 and 10ks here and there but hoping to try a half marathon next year!! Your vlogs are so motivating and making me realise I can still train 4 days a week in the gym and balance it out with running too 🥰
I had a similar skin breakout experience after using too many actives and damaging my skin barrier, which ended up giving me perioral dermatitis. What worked for me was SIMPLE skin care (double cleanse, gentle hydrating moisturiser and a ceramide cream - i used the la roche possay one). It took a few weeks but it really helped! Also no picking!!! I'm a pimple picker too but really restraining myself has helped so much xx
Okay first off loved this kind of video girl! Your so inspiring and I love watching your videos :) PS I hear the sound your talking about w your new camera, I like the old one better 🫶🏼
Hey Holly super nice video! I loved seeing you training it’s very motivating :) I agree with you on the camera. The old one makes a better sound and color!
To assist with your face challenges...two ideas for acne/pimples. I use N1O1 (love it) which is a commercially prepared nitric oxide. It ships out of Texas. It has strong anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties. It is sold OTC (no prescription). Hospitals use nitric oxide for tough to heal situations like severe burns or diabetic lesions. It works. It is expensive. The second recommendation is to seek out a plastic surgeon and get a consultation on your face (freckles etc..). You may been a CO2 laser instead of an IPL...I hope some or all of this will help.
The same thing happened to me after dermaplaning a few years ago, I ended up having to go onto Lymecycline (prescribed by doctor) which cleared it all up after 6-8 weeks and my skin has been completely clear ever since (1.5 years going strong) xx
I suffered with adult acne for around 5 years after my daughter was born and Lymecycline was what I was prescribed after going back and forth to the doctors. It really helped clear my skin up. Would definitely recommend. I get the odd spot here and there but my skin is so much better 😊
i had a similar skin issue, like flare up!! and i'm not on benzoyl peroxide & chlynimacin i think it's called!! my skin has honestly never looked better and ive even been on 3 rounds of roaccutane! so now opted for lymacycline tablets, and the benzoyl peroxide cream with the topical antibiotic! & my skin looks better even than when i was on roaccutane!! it's a little tricky in the beginning until your skin settles but now,im so so happy with it!! you can get both prescribed by the GP,a dermatologist also can too but i got mine from the GP!❤xox
Holly you got such a lovely and genuine channel which give people like me so much motivation for fitness (esp running), please keep it up! My two cents on helping your skin issue: may be cutting down on dairy for a while (esp dairy with sugar) as it's quite inflammatory. You said you don't want to go with the 'intense' laser treatment and I agree. I think combination of topical treatments and diet would go a long way towards eliminating the root cause rather than harsh attack on the already-sensitive skin you got atm. Have you tried taking a green juice (apple, celery, cucumber, dash of lemon/lime), very anti-flammatory, great for cool down post work out overall and aids tremendously with keeping breakouts at bay! Have a lovely week ahead❤
Thank you so much, you’re so kind 🫶🏻 I did consider this as I’ve heard dairy can affect skin! Also I think after looking into it i agree, laser might be too much! Better to try and sort it more naturally first! Thank you so much for the advice 🫶🏻
Hey Holly, I had a few IPL treatments on my face to remove some sunspots. I will warn you that the first treatment is uncomfortable and your face will be red and feel like you have a stinging sunburn for a few hours after, but for me that did not happen after the subsequent treatments. IPL got rid of my sun spots and made my skin tone more even and clear. I would still recommend doing your own research but for me IPL really helped!
Definitely add rosehip oil into your skincare routine! Does NOT make you oily and has transformed my skin, even my aesthetician said to keep using it! Also, you just radiate joy in this video I love it
Would be so grateful to know what makeup you use when you run? I want to go running with friends but I'm so self conscious of my skin that I only run solo under the cover of darkness!! I can't see if you've already covered this in a different video?
Have you tried using a retinol serum? This is the only thing that keeps acne away for me. If I stop using it I break out. My acne is also hormonal from stopping birth control. Just a recommendation for you . :)
Highly recommend a dermatologist for skin problems, they were able to give me prescription topicals that were so effective for my acne. Also the UA-cam channel Doctorly is SO good for general skin care advice and questions, and it’s two dermatologists as well!
The exact same thing happened to me when I tried my own dermaplaning :( I wish there was more information on this rather than there being a misperception that we can all just do our own 'beauty' treatments!
best thing to do for spots is just not touch it at all as soon as you notice it and then have a shower with some good mild facewash then dont moisturise after shower, do that for a few days to dry it out and then do the next day moisturiser after facewash in shower. i never used to do any kind of facial hygene but started doing this and boom all geezy
I don't know who your esthetician is, but go see an acne specialist. I'm an esthetician who specializes in acne, and the comments on this/what your facialist is suggesting is frustrating me... haha What you seem to be experiencing is hormonal acne. I know you've talked about having PCOS so I would look into that. I always recommend my clients use Mandelic Acid (it is the most gentle chemical exfoliant), maybe even a Hypochlorous Acid toner/spray (to help with inflammation/kill bacteria). But, again see an acne specialist in your area.
Hi Holly, love your videos. I’m a qualified dermaplaning facialist. The dermaplaning tools that people are purchasing to use at home are a completely different tool to what we use. We use a surgical blade to dermaplane and there is a lot in the process and technique of how we do it. As well as this each skin type and needs will have different products used and home care advice. With dermaplaning we are not just removing the vellus hair, we are removing 4 weeks worth of dead skin cells. These tools that are available to the public have caused a lot of issues to people’s skin. I really wish they weren’t available because they can be really damaging. Try keeping your skin care routine simple just now with just a few products so not to overwhelm your skin. Try The Ordinary Niacinimide and Zinc serum. The zinc in it is anti inflammatory and helps with the inflammation and redness in the breakouts. The ordinary also have a really good cleanser and moisturiser for breakouts. If you go on their official site you can type in your skin type or issues and all the products they have that will help will pop up. Hope this helps.
So fueling up is completely personal lovely!! I had actually eaten 70g of oats prior to running which is more than sufficient to get me through 10km without needing more than half a gel ☺️ the best way to fuel up is the way that works for you!
I loved seeing 'Holly in the wild' with Mia and your PT. Such a breath of fresh air to see you having fun whilst navigating your fitness journey. Great vid, Holly! Keep up the amazing work!

I’m so sorry you’re struggling :( hopefully this helps! Of course I can ❤

no no no, not really for people with acne prone skin unfortunately but it’s good for scarring
see an esthetician that specializes in acne!! (Sincerely, an acne specialist.) 🖤 also love your running content
Holly I went to NYC in April when it was about 13 degrees, it was FREEZING! The wind that comes through the streets omg you’ll want the UGGs there
Absolutely love the orange top! Where is it from? ❤
I also use the exfoliator from that brand and it’s ah-mazing isn’t it?!?! It’s sooooo intense but your skin looks great after.
Great video, would you do a video on periods and affecting your performance please? X
You’re an absolute rockstar!! How are you running while still talking and recording!!! 🏃♀️❤ #goals
I used to get really bad acne. I found changing my pillow case everyday made a big difference
Love all your videos
Which camera did you end up choosing? ❤
Would be so grateful to know what makeup you use when you run? I want to go running with friends but I'm so self conscious of my skin that I only run solo under the cover of darkness!! I can't see if you've already covered this in a different video?

Have U tried just sea salt or Himalayan salt in water and dunking ur face in that? Worked for me mine was pretty bad tbh
Hey ! Where are you running, it looks so cute. It’s reminds me of Liverpool
That happened to me when I derma planed too. Never will do it again!
Omg them weights I can just about do a lunge without weights x u smashed that
Hey lovely! Skin specialist here! You DO NOT need laser. You need to repair your barrier, not impair it more 😢
Okay thank you so much I will avoid!!!
best thing to do for spots is just not touch it at all as soon as you notice it and then have a shower with some good mild facewash then dont moisturise after shower, do that for a few days to dry it out and then do the next day moisturiser after facewash in shower. i never used to do any kind of facial hygene but started doing this and boom all geezy

30k is where the pain really hits 🤣🤣 ❤
FYI if you look at recent scientific literature ice is bad for muscle growth and not that good fee recovery it’s just an insta trend (FYI)

Half a gel is not enough carbs to be 10K into 30K. Is there a reason you don’t want to fuel the runs? It would keep you out of the pain cave longer.
So fueling up is completely personal lovely!! I had actually eaten 70g of oats prior to running which is more than sufficient to get me through 10km without needing more than half a gel ☺️ the best way to fuel up is the way that works for you!
Hey Holly ☕️ we’ve sent you a lovely email reaching out for Super Mocha ⚡️🥥
Hiiii what is the name of those uggs please??
The dumbbells are too heavy. It will make you too bulky. Less weight more reps. The shoes look great. Keep up the videos
