FYI, New Yorker here and also someone who has run the nyc marathon..be prepared for hills! The course has five bridges and is considered a “rolling hills course”. Your start line is on a bridge and that’s the entire first mile. If you like hills it’ll be a treat 😄 if you haven’t already, take a look at the course map so you know what to expect. I’ll be working the expo so maybe I’ll see you there! Looking forward to marathon week!

The race is amazing! You’ll have a blast, as long as the weather cooperates 😁. And New York really shows up for the runners. Take some time with your headphones off and listen to the crowd. It is honestly a priceless experience. So excited for you! ♥️
Holly i only found your channel about 2 weeks ago and you inspired me to run a half marathon so I signed up to one and today I ran a 5km PB, even though I haven’t run for a year! I also got the lululemon shorts in barbie pink which I can confirm are amazing! You are so inspiring to watch especially your journey after a breakup. This is something I went through my self 5 years ago and are now happily married for the last 2 months so to focus on yourself and show up is the most difficult but powerful thing you can do and life has a funny way of leading you where you are meant to be ❤

Hi Holly! You actually can wear a running vest now for the NYCM! You can only carry bottles in the front pockets and you can’t have a bladder on your back :) Good luck on the race!
Can you tell me more about why they weren't allowed? Was it because of the bombing? And why are runners affected since the perpetrators weren't runners? Sorry I'm not from America and could not find answers online.
The case for those headphones suck, so often the one isn’t fully seated and isn’t charging even tho it appears to be doing so. Happens all the time to me
I bought this Salomon belt a couple months ago and having watched many many videos: there is no prescribed way of where to wear it. I initially wore it on my hip but the last few runs, i Ve been wearing it on my waist and I find it more comfortable slightly higher up
Forgot to add: I stick one 250 ml hydro flask in it. You can go up to 500 ml if you want to use one of the soft flasks you already have with the best. Then when I do a long run, I refill it at fountains. Even though I also have that little vest like yours, I found myself using the belt a lot more

My first half marathon is in 6 weeks and I'm currently injured with a calf sprain and haven't been allowed to run for the last two weeks. It still feels sore also so im feeling stressed 😢
These weekly vlogs really are my favourites, they give me such a boost of energy 💕 Although I must admit that I have to mute these mic'd up sessions because the sound gets so loud and I don't love the quality... I might be the only one who feels that way but in my opinion workout without the mics were so much better :)

Are there specific trainers you went to find to help you with your run? I’m looking for a personal trainer in the future maybe to help me along the way idk if I’ll ever get to a marathon but I just want to continue improving. Thank you so much
