I was diagnosed with a terminal illness. I found the song for my daughter who's 12. She takes care of me, helps do house work & shopping, goes to school & never complains a bit. She is a true warrior in my eyes. strong & sure. I played this for her & told her God understands tears. It's okay to call to Him and cry. Great song.

I’m in a place right now where I just feel like giving up! My husband is very ill & yells all the time. It really hurts my heart. We have been married for almost 52 years & it is feeling like I’m still in this relationship because I’m comfortable after all these years. I want to feel the love that was there before all the yelling. He’s not saved & I get it’s the devils device to torment me. I so need prayers & my Jesus’s strength & love for this man because I’m about over it. I’m literally sitting outside of his doctors office in the truck crying & listening to this over & over. He’s inside getting a Zinplava IV Infusion. We live 2 hours away from his doctors office & I spoke not a word all the way here except to Jesus in my heart. All he did was fuss because he just knew he would be late. We got here 30 minutes early. The infusion takes a hour so I’m just sitting outside listening to this encouragement & literally crying. Thanks for listening I just had to get it out.
I’m right there with you. 53 years here. I told my husband he has ripped my heart into. He says nothing. I just talk to my Poppa God. I cry a lot when I’m by myself & God I know has me but I just don’t feel loved like I use to. There are things going on within our family & I know it’s the devices of Satan. My father was not a Believer all his life and the last week of his life , he accepted God Monday and Wednesday he went home with the Lord . I thank God . may God send a messenger to your husband, and give you the strength that you need, for great is your reward for being faithful.
Back in 1990 I lost a baby...he was only 2 months old, never left the hospital. He had complications after a surgery that gave him a 50% chance at life. He fought for those 2 months to stay alive but God decided to take him home anyway...After his death and before the funeral I went off by myself to pray, and at the place where I parked this song was playing on the radio. I had never heard it before and realized it was the right one to be played at the service the next day. Deep inside the armor of his tiny casket the warrior was a child! I cry a tear for my little soldier each time I hear that song! RIP Corey Aaron!

I used to play this song a lot of times in 1993 when I lost my wife and the child she's bearing. She committed suicide. For longer years, this haunt me at all times. It is by the Lords mercy and grace before I surpass this heartaches.
My parents were very absent when I was a child and I and my siblings were left to my grandparents care.. my mum had a cassette tape of this album.. and I listened to this again and again every time I missed her, which was every day… I’m almost 45 now and I still relate to this song big time. Many people out there who show so much strength but other people who watch and see them have no idea what they go through… but by Gods grace and strength they go through the challenges and trials victoriously.. this song figuratively speaks about a child that doesn’t have enough strength and have weaknesses, but God who is so gracious clothed the child with strength like an armour and at the end of the day, it’s all about God who carries and picks His children up when they’ve fallen and are hurt .. praise be to God for His never ending love and grace. ❤

After giving birth to a stillborn child 7 years ago, I finally decided to have another baby. Now I am sitting in the hospital 25 weeks pregnant with my baby's life hanging in limbo. The drs are positive, and I try to keep a cheerful attitude, but sometimes I just feel so emotionally beat down. This song says exactly how I feel right now. It means so much to me!
I had 2 miscarriages in 2001, one in April and one in July. I ran across this song and it touched me so much. I sang it as a solo at church not long after that.
I was a Fire Medic for many years & there are So many things seen & felt & we are to Never talk about them. The death. The sadness left behind. I lost my son Hunter Paul @ 2 months & 23 days while sleeping on my chest. My job was to save others. & I couldn't save my son. It has been 19yrs & I have never really spoke about it .. In the nineties my family was struggling, we had four children in the house and times were very difficult plus I was personally struggling with depression from our circumstances. My children were put on the angel tree that year even though at first I was reluctant but knew it could be helpful. I had no idea that God was trying to send this song to me through my children's gifts. I opened up the box and there was a vhs tape of Twila Paris and this song was on it. Every morning I would listen to this this song and God used it so many times to minister to my heart when I felt broken. Today in 2021 I am still singing this song whether I am in a battle or having victory. Currently, my beautiful daughter has been dealing with severe post partum depression and As I rock her newborn son to sleep I sing this song because now it is for her battle and it reminds me so much of what God can bring us through and I know he will heal and deliver her too. Learned and loved this song in high school when it first came out. I have remembered the message so many times during my adult life. This week, I remember again as the attacks continue to come, and I keep trying to figure out the difference between fighting for principle and for people versus standing still and letting God fight the battle. But God is faithful. Remember that even when you are fighting a good fight, you are going to get hurt. Be faithful anyway because God is faithful, and the cause is important.

Waiting on healing for my child and conversion of hubby . This song describe exactly what I’m going thru . When I was a new Christian about 30 years ago, I purchased Twila's Greatest Hits album on cassette tape. Warrior is a Child is the opening song and my favorite, like millions of other people's also. I believe it is one of the greatest Pop Christian songs ever written! Also on the same tape is How Beautiful, another of my very favorite, timeless songs.

A song that got me through many days of my college years. Just re-visited it to remind me now that I have a family and the battle is relentless and fierce, that my God is unfailing and omnipotent!
I was introduced to Twila at a concert, in Guatemala City, in 1982. We were both there as part of a YWAM outreach, at the request of the President, Rios Monte. (Both her Dad and uncle were major YWAM leaders.) I"ve enjoyed her songs for years - but, this one still has a special place in my heart. I'm also an audio engineer, and I've always enjoyed the production on her songs. There's alot of subtle things going on - but, it's always a wide and varied background (like the tenor harmonies on this song), not overdone. One of our local stations started playing 90's Christian music, so I still get to hear these, once in a while!

I have been through a lot in my life. To the point that an abuse counselor once told me that she has never seen someone who has been through this much and wasn't full of anger and bitterness. Friends have compared me to Job. And today I had bad news about the cancer I was diagnosed with a month ago. I have been emotional all day and this song came to mind. I have listened to it 4 times because I can really identify with it

I had no idea that God was trying to send this song to me through my children's gifts. I opened up the box and there was a vhs tape of Twila Paris and this song was on it. Every morning I would listen to this this song and God used it so many times to minister to my heart when I felt broken. Today in 2021 I am still singing this song whether I am in a battle or having victory. Currently, my beautiful daughter has been dealing with severe post partum depression and As I rock her newborn son to sleep I sing this song because now it is for her battle and it reminds me so much of what God can bring us through and I know he will heal and deliver her too. Learned and loved this song in high school when it first came out. I have remembered the message so many times during my adult life. This week, I remember again as the attacks continue to come, and I keep trying to figure out the difference between fighting for principle and for people versus standing still and letting God fight the battle. But God is faithful. Remember that even when you are fighting a good fight, you are going to get hurt. Be faithful anyway because God is faithful, and the cause is important.

Surprising . This is the first time I’m listening to this song . I’m on the middle of a battle My daughter with AHUS ( look it up ) and diabetic hubby he can’t think or act straight . Waiting on healing for my child and conversion of hubby . This song describe exactly what I’m going thru . A non ending attack but I’m a warrior & child of God when I’m exhausted I run to him regroup and charge again in my Amour . My tears my Abba God wipes. My pain he comforts . And I run toward h foe refuge . And yes at times I feel wasted and think O can’t any longer so Abba give me the strength to comfort to fight . He charge angel to my aide I’m not fighting alone . When I was a new Christian about 30 years ago, I purchased Twila's Greatest Hits album on cassette tape. Warrior is a Child is the opening song and my favorite, like millions of other people's also. I believe it is one of the greatest Pop Christian songs ever written! Also on the same tape is How Beautiful, another of my very favorite, timeless songs.

Pretty sure the background vocals were sung by her producer Johnathan David Brown. He was a friend of mine for the last 20 years of his life. He produced a couple bands I was in. It sure sounds like his voice.

The Lord saved me in 1979; this is one of the memorable songs I remember from my infant-Christian days. There are SO MANY Christian performers, but Twila is one of the few that is in touch with the Spirit.

A song that got me through many days of my college years. Just re-visited it to remind me now that I have a family and the battle is relentless and fierce, that my God is unfailing and omnipotent!
I was introduced to Twila at a concert, in Guatemala City, in 1982. We were both there as part of a YWAM outreach, at the request of the President, Rios Monte. (Both her Dad and uncle were major YWAM leaders.) I"ve enjoyed her songs for years - but, this one still has a special place in my heart.
I'm also an audio engineer, and I've always enjoyed the production on her songs. There's alot of subtle things going on - but, it's always a wide and varied background (like the tenor harmonies on this song), not overdone.
One of our local stations started playing 90's Christian music, so I still get to hear these, once in a while!

I have been through a lot in my life. To the point that an abuse counselor once told me that she has never seen someone who has been through this much and wasn't full of anger and bitterness. Friends have compared me to Job. And today I had bad news about the cancer I was diagnosed with a month ago. I have been emotional all day and this song came to mind. I have listened to it 4 times because I can really identify with it
