I remember this song in 1993 time of my conversion, at that moment I was mormon. God with a strong hand, saved me.

I was there at this concert , and was only 2 years being saved at the time. Twila was used by the Holy Spirit to bring me to a place of worship in loving the Lord Jesus Christ. I'm very appreciative of her ministry how God blessed me through her anointed voice and songs. I saw her another two times before her family sabbatical.Thanks Twila! Love you.

What I appreciate most about Twila Paris, aside from her prolific, spirit filled and musically adept composition, (a library of 20th century hymns) is her commitment to publicly uphold a Christian standard of holiness and humility in demeanor, attitude, dress and performance. Twila, your commitment to God has inspired me for two decades in so many ways. Thank you for your submission to God, and thank God for making it possible for us to receive the promise of the spirit, through faith.

I accepted the Lord in 1984, and her music along with Petra kept me encouraged during some of the most challenging years of my life.
No other "recorded music" has touched me more than the songs of Twila Paris. Thank you Lord for her anointed talent.

I "rediscovered" Twila tonight... I heard her in concert years ago, when I recommitted as a Christian... her music, and Michael W Smith's music, so profoundly touched me in a way unlike any other Christian artists. I have been filled with joy listening to these songs of praise.

Why do we not hear her much more of this kind of music on the radio these days? Yes, I know that Christian radio tends to focus on male artists, and tends to focus on recent music, but it should be easy to mix in a few of the classics every now and then.
this was an amazing period of sold out people , who just wanted to magnify Jesus the Lord in humility & honesty, sadly we have drifted into a celebrity culture & taken our eyes off the real reason. I pray we get back there , we need to learn how to worship in spirit & in truth.
I think the more big name Christian stations tend to play more pop-oriented, and respectfully a bit more commercial Christian music. I too love wonderful worship, but I have found a new generation of worship singers and groups that have ramped up the fire and passion of God's presence in worship even more-like Kim Walker Smith and others in Bethel worship, Kari Jobe, Misty Edwards and IHOP, Rick Pino, Hillsong and so many others who passionately worship the Lord but may not get the top billing on the sales charts.

I've always had a vision about this song. I hear "Release of The Spirit" playing in the background as the great Hall of the Marriage Supper of the Lamb slowly fills to capacity. Then, as the Lord appears, the song begins . . . He is Exalted! The voices of the Saints rise in unison as the music seems to fill the very universe itself. A sublime vision indeed.

Steve Green did the Spanish version of this worship song , he did a great job "Exaltado", I got a Twila's tape in mid 90s she's really good & genuine worshiper even though she's not as known as others.

I will NEVER believe Cessationist teaching that states that the Anointing ceased at the End of the Apostolic Age, that all Contemporary music is, “Strange Fire,” and that the “Anointing,” (since 70 AD), is “All False, All Lies, All Deception.” The Anointing of the Spirit is in this clip!

I love just love Sandi Patty and Twila Paris, their music have helped me through my depression that I battling for years. When Twila Paris won female vocalist of the year in 1993, guess who gave her the dove award, Sandi Patty. Bless them both.
That was because Patti won it for 10+ years in a row. She was handing it to Paris because she finally won it away from Patti.
