When you said "nice kettle" it reminded me of a documentary I saw in China. Some aunties (a name given to Chinese middle aged women 45-65) went to various hotels and consistently used the kettles for boiling their underwear. Gets it really clean apparently and costs nothing. After that, I never used a hotel kettle again. The room has quite nice and not overpriced. What were the pillows made of? Foam or feathers? A noisy night? We should all be accustomed to that. I'll take traffic noises over the T25 drums and cymbals any day.
The pillows are said to be made of faux goose feathers! I'm sure the geese are pleased there's a man made alternative! The bed, mattress and pillows were lovely. And because everything is new it's probably safe to assume there's not been any underwear in the kettle. Yet.

Many thanks, Simon. I enjoyed this hotel. My only small word of caution is that I went there coming up to 2 years ago. So it's a bit older now. But it's still getting great reviews on Agoda, so hopefully, it still has that new feel to it!
Glad you enjoyed it Zariis. I hope you have a great trip! January seems to have some good prices. I stayed during the week between Xmas & New Year which is never the cheapest! Try to get a room at the back if you can.
Usually hotels that offer laundry take the laundry to a laundry in the neighborhood. So take a look in the neighborhood you may get it cheaper if you take it to the laundry yourself
Thanks for the good advice! Most services you get directly in hotels are 'premium' prices. Usually better value just outside. Then again if you in full-on relaxation mode maybe it's ok to pay more!
Thanks, Bigbopper! I didn't specifically test that on this trip, but I was in reception as a guy did. Nobody took any notice, and she wasn't asked for ID. Whether that's a positive or a negative is a matter of opinion, I guess!
That's a good point. VFM in terms of being a new hotel with decent facilities, but the location will be a big negative for some. I use Bolt taxis all the time so it didn't bother me. Also very close to central pattaya road. Thanks for your comment!

Thanks for your question. In North Pattaya, I liked One Patio and also The Akara. In central pattaya, the best choices are probably on Soi Buakhao, such as The Amethyst. I didn't really find a good one on Beach Road yet. Possibly check out Sois 3,4 & 5, where previously I, stayed in Seven Zea, Terra Nara, and Payaa Hotel. But really, these are just nice places I've stayed. I'm not claiming they're the best. There's too much choice for me to say that.

@Kiianu I've never stayed there but I know it's quite modern. I did stay at and review M Casa, which was very good value, and close to so many Indian restaurants.
