Ok first things first - COLGERA IS COMING I promise 😂 I was so happy to see so much interest when I put out the post, though knowing I was already working on this one and it would go out first (Colgera is gonna be a beast anyway but I've already started working on it lol)
Anyway - THIS TRACK is one that immediately stood out to me and only grew on me more as I listened. Did anyone else instantly clock the first chord from OOT the first time they heard it??? I love stuff like this in Zelda scores...and I am also a sucker for impressionistic (or French in general) music so this one had a direct line to my heartstrings. Love getting to go back to my classical performance roots for something like this, where the melody is simple but requires SO much nuance and care for every note. The original performer was fantastic and I only hoped to do as good a job, while working with a different instrumental color :D
P.S. Did anyone catch the other two or three musical easter eggs I threw in here? 😁

Congrats, I cried like i did in game when first hearing this XD
I adored Mipha as a character and her love for Link, and her little brother Sidon. Her whole storyline was heartbreaking, and to walk up to Mipha's Court in game and hear this tune was such a gut blow.
To hear how much emotion you've translated into the notes by how they linger, how the piano compliments but doesn't overpower the violin, and what they mean being beautifully represented, stupendous job. I can't represent in words how moved this made me ❤

Oh awesome.. I definitely caught the OOT opening and Rito Village's lines snuck in either by composition or your own cover...Either way I love the performance, the TOTK approach to the whole Zora area is one of my favorites!

The opening OOT was in the composition, but I added the second one at the end (along with Sidon's theme and a subtle reference to the ending of some of the ocarina songs)

This is beautifully done! I just had to sit and listen to the music in Mipha's Court when I first arrived. It somehow feels like an even more wistful and nostalgic version of Mipha's original theme.
