@@zulwhite6007 I'm 6'5 and can fit back there with the middle row all the way back to fit a rear facing car seat. I wouldn't want to do any long trips though. I would say it's a little less head and leg room then my parents 16'Grand Caravan for sure.
@@CarolCityCane305 with the rear 3rd row down 90% of the time yes it would be fine for you. we have 1 toddler and then 2 large dogs and a cat. plenty of room for weekend getaways and then a roof rack if we need more room.
Right now I’m looking at a Palisade but my husband likes the Telluride better. Gonna be a hard decision since they are both great values and with exceptional warranties, lots of space and smooth quiet rides. Watched your great reviews on both these vehicles. Thank you.
Diane Johanson me too love the lighter interior but the waiting makes it hard. I loved the palisade but also telluride but after test drive right after the palisade. I think palisade is for me. Just at 50k makes me do a little more rethinking.
Me personally I loved the handles inside the console for transporting elderly but I love the smoother lines of the dash. Be careful because to get the heads up and a few more features you will need the SX model WITH the PREsTige package. The salesmen didn’t tell me. I did my homework but the SX Kia had the all black wheels to me I was like it needs hubcaps. Men like the black out stuff but I didn’t. Palisade was my choice and I am loving it.
Up here in northern Ontario the Subaru beats them all, over $6000 cheaper and more equipment on it then the telluride and palisade and more reliable in the cold weather (from experience kia and Hyundai are not really reliable in the -30 deg C temps), the Atlas is ok but gas mileage in cold weather is pretty bad and (around here anyways) they spend lots of time in the shop and I’ve noticed an issue (I had one for two months) the AWD system craps out and stops sending power to wheels with traction control off if you spin too much which in the winter when your trying to get through deeper snowed over roads that are long distances (winter roads over lakes to remote communities) you do a lot, it is a nightmare because if you stop moving and try starting again and loose momentum your stuck. The dealer said it’s a safety thing so you don’t damage the transmission, which its not a cvt there shouldn’t be a problem. Never had an issue like this with any AWD system before
I lease a honda pilot 2016 and when I compared it to palisade’s luxurious interior and with a reasonable price I have decided that it’s time for a switch.
Another factor important to comparing the SUV for me is the ease of accessing the third row. And the size of the interior cargo space. And the best ability of the car to hold it’s value the moment you drive it off the lot. I saw the Cadillac XT6 is not on your differential, nor the BMW x7, nor the Audi Q7 I am really interested in your comps! Thanks for the cars you already did have in your videos
Do you know when the Honda Pilot will get a refresh ? I feel like all of these companies are updating the 3-row suv except the Pilot it is so far behind with it looks and technology.
There are certainly others I could have mentioned but I didn't want to make the video much longer than it already was but yes, the Durango can easily be added to this list.
Ranger Rover Sport shown, not Range Rover. Probably should have said "Land Rover" offerings then elaborated that the Discover is the family hauler go to. Good vid though thanks!
Thanks buddy ! I have 95 civic lx, 2002 Accord, 2007 Accord- 3 Hondas since 1995, all in good shape. Please highlight some praise for a new 2020 Honda Pilot SUV. Thanks again. Hari Bol
Good afternoon, Dave. Nice video, and all the vehicles you feature has their pluses. Reliability needs to be a concern, and of your list, I would run from the Chevy, Range Rover, Volvo, and VW. In the Chevy, the 3.6L engine is garbage - check out what the Car Wizard says about them. Land- and Range Rovers are notorious for electrical issues - see Car and Driver’s long term test of the Range Rover Velar. Good friends of ours had the Volvo XC90 and have numerous infotainment issue that were infuriating to them, as did Car and Driver during their long term test. Lastly, I have a very skeptical eye on anything with a VW badge. Reviewing Edmunds, many Atlas owners have reported issues. The V6 in the Atlas makes it slow and thirsty - not a good combination in my book. My picks are the Mazda CX-9, Honda Pilot, Acura MDX, Kia Telluride, and Mercedes GLS.
@ Sounds like it's time to lay off the fentanyl. You'll end up with the same overdose in any of these vehicles. All while sitting in the driver's seat at an intersection. Sad.
Joe Moretti same here. Would have walked off of the lot with a Telluride today if it had car seat anchors in the middle seat of the second row. Looking at XC90 and Acura MDX now
Great video Dave!!!! You're the reason I bought the 2015 Volvo XC60 T6 AWD in white! Same exact car your reviewed a couple of years back. Thank you man!
The Lincoln Navigator is definitely posh, but for thousands less I think I'll stick with its less flashy cousin, the Ford Expedition. The Limited and Platinum trim levels are just as luxurious as the Navigator.
How in the world do you consider yourself "everyman driver" when everything you reviewed is more than 35,000 and closer to 50,000 and you consider that "affordable". Crazy lack of perspective.
Loving my pathfinder. More towing than anything else in class and the fuel mileage on the hwy is better than sticker. Rides like an old pontiac boat on the hwy and has more 2nd row leg room than most for the kiddos
Brought home a Hyundai Palisade end of August. just over 4,000 mi so far and we love it. best value out there for what you get in this class I feel.
Is the leg room in the 3rd row big enough for 6.2 ft person?

Palisade is the best value by far .
Did you even look at MPG?
I love the Palisade...just dont know how dependable they are compared to Toyota Highlander.
The Highlander is hard to beat - best looking exterior and interior, best mileage, best safety features.
What about the Buick Enclave? I have a 2015 and love it.
Excellent excellent narration. 😊

What about the Ford Explorer? Any good?
What about the Lincoln Aviator?
Joselito Rolon That's a glaring omission along with the Ford Expedition lol 😂
Great car reviews . Real reviews I love watching yours and others non employed by dealership ..
The video says Mercedes Benz GLS but the link is for the GLC. Where’s the link for the GLS?
"best 3 rows"? Or pretty much every 3 row on the market?
Really... Dude just mentions everyone
He didnt mention the Ford Explorer
I have heard from the Telluride forum that the Telluride's paint chips just by driving over sand!
i saw that too and its literally 1 person lol
@@siptang81 But it also occurs with other Kia models. Kia issued a recall for the sunset yellow Stingers because of the paint chipping issue

Telluride and Pallisade all the way!
Great review, hope you do reviews for the new Pacifica, suburban and Tahoe when they come out.
Do you know when the Honda Pilot will get a refresh ? I feel like all of these companies are updating the 3-row suv except the Pilot it is so far behind with it looks and technology.
rajahsone It will be due for a new generation soon actually
The MDX is due for a new generation to debut next year. This gen has been around for 6 years now
I'm still five months out from deciding on a new/used vehicle, but that Volvo XC90 keeps calling my name (as are several other choices... still).
We have the 2017 Durango and it is fantastic. American made why is it not on this list?
My dad has a van I literally go in the the third row every time I go in the van
No Dodge Durango love. Especially with V8 options and best in class towing.
