I literally would explain to kids why we didn’t celebrate Christmas and why Christmas was a pagan holiday, etc. why Easter came from the goddess Estre, the goddess of fertility. They thought I was looney toons but I learned to not care. Like I don’t think at this point I could do stuff that helped me fit in now that I’m so used to sticking out. Some doctors demonize carbs (even fruits) while others openly defend them. Some sell fish as the best protein alternative while others warn us about toxicity. By the end of the 20th century, doctors and common knowledge were anti-fat (even against nuts), it's very different now. But your principles on animal rights are less likely to change.

I very much relate to the last point. I too have always been the odd one out (was hardcore into punk music in my 20's), but with a strong support system. I'm vegan for 5+ years now. :-)
I became an ethical vegetarian (vegan leaning) in Nov ‘90. And, like you, I can’t tell you exactly when I became vegan. I just know that honey was the last barrier before I “came out” as vegan. My family was NOT supportive. And I was only 12 in ‘90 so it was def rough. But I couldn’t eat meat or wear leather without seeing the image that inspired my change. So I kept at it. Even when my boarding school sent me to ED rehab - which turned out to be a good thing because that’s where I learned how to be a healthy veg without succumbing to Diet Culture. I only struggled in 2003/2004 when I was dating the 1st vegan I ever met and who kept “reminding” me I wasn’t doing enough for the animals, and again in 2010 when my medical team blamed my congenital illness on the lack of animal products in my diet. The bf got the boot and, thanks to the rehab, I was able to prove that my way to be veg was totally healthy. So I survived those rough patches and I’m still
The learning how to eat proper vegan food is essential. Nowadays there are so many misleading vegan influencers it's scary. It wasn't like that when I was young 2 billion years ago.
Hee hee they thought the dieticians would deprogram you but they just bonded with you over chickpeas. Reminds me of GCFs sending trans kids to a counselor and the counselor listening and validating the kid's feelings and teaching them self advocacy tools
Can I recommend that if the picture that inspired your change was a sad one, you replace it in your mind With a video of sheep and cows playing. It's just as powerful and it's not as hard on your nervous system. When you are very empathetic, calling those pictures to mind is going to elevate your heartbeat, release cortisol, all that stuff we don't need more of
@@thatsalt1560 I know! It’s not only irresponsible, it’s downright dangerous. And it sad that some of the misinformation comes directly from “medical professionals.” But I get it. MDs are only required to take one semester of nutrition. So, for the most part, they’re as clueless as the rest of us.
@@therabbithat it wasn’t quite THAT bad. It’s just that, like many omnis, the culinary staff thought we’d be happy with dry toast and shitty garden salads without dressing. But I need real food. So I stopped going all the way across campus to the dining hall (it was literally in a different state🤨). So they weren’t trying to “turn me”. They just wanted me to eat and be healthy.
Brave Robot ice cream is BOMB. I realized how little fresh food I eat as a vegan (because I'm disabled and don't cook whole meals everyday; most of the produce I buy is frozen, even diced onions and green peppers). I used to protest as a young(er) adult, and met some good friends I still have through protesting. I just don't do it anymore because...I just physically can't handle it anymore (because of chronic pain). Also, one of our bigger targets, Ringling Bros., is out of business anyway. Nowadays, I have a laptop to protest from, with my writing, my UA-cam videos, and meeting new people online.
I don’t comment often but I just want to say you are the most practical vegans on social media. This video explains so many of the reasons why I am able to stay vegan. Not sweating the small stuff Is key. I have a toddler and as he grows I’ve now started to think about school and “what if’s” …. “ what is he eats a cupcake with like a tbsp of milk in it”. The practical mindset helps calms my nerves about these issues. I just don’t think overall it’s that big of a deal. We try our best and that’s good enough.
Helpful video, Swayze. I really respect your position and often direct other would-be vegans to your channel. I would second your tip about diving into philosophy and not being intimidated by counter-arguments that pop up. This, of course, means that vegans should really strive to understand the arguments and practice the art of conversation with others. Emphasis here on conversation and not debate (which quickly escalates people's strong emotions and mostly doesn't convince people anyway). Philosophy is just as much about people smarts as it is about the art and science of careful thinking (as it the word means "love of wisdom," not worship of logic). You and Earthling Ed's channels both do a good job of exemplifying this approach. One important example of this is exercising patience with others, particularly loved ones who don't share your convictions about reducing suffering and choosing the more sensible, ethical options. I'd be interested in hearing more from you concerning your thinking about the moral psychology of effectively confronting resistance to a vegan diet. Perhaps you've covered this already and I've missed it?
I'm sorry to say but to me Earthling Ed and her don't have arguments, they just have emotional appeals. The first thing a vegan should do is provide real evidence that humans can thrive long term in a vegan diet and this is not what we have seen around, starting by the paper of ADA that is actually just an opinion paper...
I like animals but I have absolutely zero desire to go cuddle a pig in a farm sanctuary, I don't care how "clean" or "smart" they are. I think it's enough I don't eat them...
Vegan 6+ years, my tip is don't try to eat like anyone else (especially on the internet), don't copy someone's number, volume, frequency of meals and exactly what they eat. Find something that works for you and eat the recipes you like. Don't feel pressured to like a recipe because the influencers eat it.
I really appreciate your candor about the disturbing truths associated w/ being a vegan activist....it's definitely not for everyone and I think a lot of ppl become overwhelmed at the possibility of taking on such a very daunting role as that, which can SOO easily turn some ppl off to the idea of even attempting adhering to the diet, quietly, ya know? Because, next thing you know, there'll be that question about it that'll need an answer and then, who knows....could wind up spraying someone's designer mink w/ red paint, or something....lol, not that I hate that idea, tbh, but...omg, I've tapped into quite a convo-inspo here 🤔❤!! I really love this channel, Unnatural Vegan...!!
The hardest part for me as a 15 year old vegan is definitely the social aspect. All of my peers just kind of think vegans are weird and stupid. I’m very sensitive and I have pretty bad social anxiety so I avoid telling people I’m vegan unless I absolutely have too. Teenage boys can be especially cruel to vegans, I’ve cried in the school bathroom more than once.
Also I just wanted to add I’ve been vegan for 2 years and understanding the philosophy and the stupid arguments people make against veganism is the truly the most important thing imo.
Hi! I'm 46. I've been vegan for one year now. I was vegetarian for a year and a half as a teenager. My mom was worried I wouldn't get the nutrition I needed from plants alone and since she was the one cooking, I ate eggs and milk. I was very happy with my vegetables. I never demanded special arrangtments for me but always said I will eat what is served when I go on group trips or come as a guest, but still others were extremely negative about my eating habits and I did give up. I became an omnivore again. Since then I have always wanted to go back, but it didn't fit into my life until recently. I just wanted to say I know it's very hard to be a teenager and not eat meat. I honestly don't understand why it provokes people so much. As I said I'm older now, but I still get to hear from friends and family that I shouldn't be vegan. The difference is I know how to speak for myself now and I don't care much what they say. It's much harder when you're young. You're very brave ❤
In life I don't think we should pretend to be what we aren't... But school is different, you just got to get through it. Vegetarians get a lot less schtick so if pretending to be vegetarian with everyone (unless their mom has to cook for you) helps, then do that.( It's not a lie either because a strict vegetarian for the animals is a vegan)
There’s a book called Animal Liberation, by Peter Singer, that is pretty much what you’re looking for. The writer is a philosopher and the books talks about the ethics of our treatment of animals. It’s really fantastic. The first chapter alone made me go vegetarian 7 years ago. Also, it was first published in 1975, so it’s been around for a while and has definitely passed the test of time, a lot of people consider it the “founding” book about the philosophical and ethics arguments around animal use/abuse.
I love when you say that eating vegan doesn’t not necessarily mean you are healthier or it will make you not prone to disease . We can currently try to eat better and make healthier choices but it won’t prevent things from still happening that we may not foresee happening . I’m vegan and I enjoy it but I definitely try to steer away from pushing others to do so if they are not called to do so 💜. Health , love , happiness 💜
My question is, did you create your own program? Where did you start as far as learning goes? Do you read labels when you shop? Or do you just do the best you can and buy whatever looks healthy? What's your system?
This is EXACTLY why I love you and your channel! I have always felt the same as you for the whole 10 yrs I've been vegan. Although I do try to lose weight using my vegan diet, I never tell anyone that this is my main reason for not eating or using animal products. {{Hugs}}
it would be awesome to see you make a video about your philosophical views on veganism! Not only have i learnt a lot about being vegan from you but a lot about philosophy and the philisophical points for and against veganism people might make. It would be awesome to hear you speak more about this especially since you have studies philosophy and have a well rounded knowledge of philosophers im sure.
An *excellent* vid, as a six-year-Vegan I agree with almost everything you said here. 0:38 - I wouldn't. When such a thing happened to me, I sent it back and did not touch it. I *never* intentionally/knowingly ate *any* non-Vegan product since going Vegan on 2015. 2:32 - I'm *completely* with you there - even had someone proved to me, that eating the murdered corpses of certain Animals would actually be beneficial for me, I still will not do that - that's the reason I don't buy the "I'm Vegan but sometimes cheat" nonsense (of the "Vegans for health-reasons", who view this mainly as a diet) - once one realizes, that this is murder, then there is no more possibility for any such doubts: *Thou shalt not kill, period.* 4:41 - Completely agree with you there, too - during the years, I've met (mostly online, Gott sei Dank...) some (stupid, in my own opinion) Vegan fanatics, who would stare at you and say "There is no such thing as 'Vegan Friendly', we must *only* eat at the *purely* Vegan places"... aside from the fact, that, in my HomeTown, this shall only leave me with *one single* Hummus Restaurant to visit - and nothing else, I *know* that eating at the "Vegan Friendly" places does, in fact, *helps* Veganism! During the past six years, I *personally* have convinced my most favourite places to add *so MANY* Vegan options - which they, most likely, wouldn't have bothered to do, had we all simply boycotted them! And, I do Hope, that - come time, perhaps in a few years... - I'll succeed in convincing them to go Vegan, as well. :-) Like you, I also cannot sit at a restaurant, that grills horrors openly, with the horrible smells of death everywhere around me... *but,* if it's something which does not smell and does not arrive at the people in my table = so, in brief, I am able to ignore it = I can sit there... while hoping, of course, that some day soon, as I wrote, they all shall *finally* see the Light, and go Vegan as well. 6:06 - I *completely* identify with you there - personally, being highly sensitive and emotional, I am totally unable to see *ANY* evil thing, I mostly also avoid the mainstream news for this very reason and *NEVER* watch *any* factory-farm's footage; whenever I come across a Facebook-profile sharing such stuff, I completely avoid talking to that person online, as I am totally unable to withstand witnessing such horrors, at any form. Personally, I believe such footage is essential *only* in order to convince hardline-carnists to change their ways and go Vegan; but, once a person *is* already Vegan and never going back, then it is totally pointless, to harm our mental health with such horrible images... 7:05 - Identity-smaindentity, it's an affront upon the Innocent Animals!! But, sure - I do also keep reminding myself, how it took me to almost reach the age of *forty(!!),* before *FINALLY* going 100% Vegan, so Who am I to talk? Just about a decade ago I had been a monster, too - and even once I decided to go back to my original vegetarianism, back on 2012, it had *still* taken me nearly three years(!!) to go fully Vegan, so... And I agree, of course, with the Sweets and the supplements points, too; as well as Individuality; I have always been *very* different from all my surrounding and take a Great Pride in it, too. :-)
Hello fellow "raised without any religion in the South lands" person. I was also vegan for 5 years until health concerns made it impossible. I'm now pescatarian/vegetarian....eating as little meat as I can and still function....
@MdoubleHB yes, I read your posts. I've tried raw vegan and cooked vegan, and was always very sick. I'm allergic to a lot of foods. People will do what they think is best for them, even when it's actually awful. Plus, some of the people here are really rediculous...like all the meat eaters talking about steak and such.
@MdoubleHB i have a genetic auto-immune disease as well. So, it is more than just allergic reactions sometimes. I've had to be admitted to the ICU because of an apple....not fun. Water fasting....I have done no food at all fasting and water fasting before, for a month of time (I have done fasting all day, and then just bread/dates and water at nite. That's doable). I believe the body is very quick at healing or damaging itself depending on many factors, so over 3 weeks would be too long unless you have a support team helping you. I'm not against trying new ways, I just don't want to be hurt while trying them. 😊
I freaking loved those pencil boxes with all of the little compartments and gadgets! Especially if it was from Sanrio- Sanrio has always had the best little stationary kits, pens & pencils. I still love those pencil boxes. And Sanrio. Sanrio gives me life. 😆💗
I’ve been vegan for about the same amount of time - I’ve been more activist oriented but more an vegan event planning sort of activist and a little attempt at legal changes. Did not go through the Whole Foods journey but ended up in about the same place. My husband is vegetarian leaning vegan. And yes, I have read a ton (and listened to more hours of online and podcast content from knowledgeable sources than I want to admit) and feel it’s strongly in line with my ethics - also I do love spending time with animals. I rehab wild raccoons, have (not vegan) cats, and love caring for farmed animals in sanctuary. It gives me a really personal perspective that people usually respect even if they disagree.
Me *Sees Swayze "Intentionally ate dairy cheese so she doesn't waste it.": YES!!!!! Sorry, that just makes me happy. It shows you are human. I know some people are gonna be like WHAAAAAAAAAT??????
the story about that kid going around school telling you don't believe in god was interesting. where i grew up in finland it could have been other way around. that some kid would go around telling a kid believes in god and other kids might think they are weird.
I am coming up to 1 year. (Baby Vegan). But I feel farr better eating a whole food plant based vegan diet. I wish there were more Vegan restaurants in my area as I dislike cooking. I do my best.
I got into veganism because of health. Lactoseintolerant and allergy agains eggs. But one thing, if someone struggles with fructose and then with histamine, but then quits gluten and all the time something is wrong with the gut. I suggest them to try veganism. Being vegan enabled me to eat banana and chili, pepper, etc again. I LOVE that I can eat the things, I couldnt eat before.
I've been playing around eating vegan strictly for about 4 months now and I'm glad I found this channel. I've been stressing over if I'm doing it the right way and UA-cam leads me to dr Barnard. He raises so many red flags for me that I kept surfing until I found this channel. I'm so glad I seem to be doing better than I realized. This is a very nicely balanced approach to vegan dieting
I became Plant- Based because I have food sensitivities to dairy, eggs and sugar, potatoes, corn and rice and oats. I eat a lot of fruit, beans etc. I make my own breads to avoid sugar. Thanks for sharing your food journey.
Love the channel still, haven’t ate plant based for a bit tho but I still eat a lot of plant meals. Anyway I just thought Plant based foods that boost testosterone would be a good vid for those worried about “soyboying.” I know you’ve addressed soy and phytoestrogens in the past but idk about this
Funny that in the US you were weird for not believing in god but in the UK or Europe if you said you believed in god in school youd be thought of as weird.
Here in Eastern Europe you're weird if you don't believe in God. I do, though. I'm a happy vegan Catholic who attends mass at least every Sunday and goes to confession. I love how people here are very open to talk about faith, what ever faith it is, and that no shame is involved: "It's okay to love God. It's a little weird if you don't, but you seem okay so I am going to assume that you are." I'm from Sweden and Swedes are as touchy around faith as people in the UK. I prefer the open attitude here in the East. We can talk about stuff without apologising. I find that very healthy.
i like sweet things too! But I can’t control myself around sugar/cane sugar. I’m not sure why, it may have to do with my brain (low-dopamine). Agave syrup is nice to have around and I don’t abuse it unlike if I was exposed to sugar. Other than that..I only get sugars from fruits or maltodextrin in powders.
Funny, I was the weird kid too, but I'm from a very atheist country and was the only one, who believed in God in my class. It's hard for me to imagine it to be the oposite way:))
I'm a health-environmental based vegan. I care about not bothering animals for non-violence and utilitarian reasons. I also eat a lot of junk food, mainly beyond meat.
You know, it also happens to me that I can smell when they cooked meat somewhere and it's really gross. I can't even eat some "vegan meat" options because they look/taste/smell so much like beef or pork that makes me puke.
Was it me who made this video or was it you?!! It feels like I can check all the boxes there (well except vegetarian extended family I guess, but they are quite supportive anyway)
Number 10.. cannot imagine growing up and being the odd one out for not being religious. In my country it is the norm and you're special if you are religious.
I maintained being vegan, because of the money and opportunity to grow a vegan world. I do it, because there are people that want to be vegan, but can't because of the world around them - so I create a vegan world for them.
I eat very much like this lady, señora, if you will, lol. I do believe NOT eating too much animal protein helps with longevity. Again not a hard core crazy ass vegan here. 11 yrs and going.
Can you please do video on Tannyraw? Thank you for sharing! I been flexitarian most of my life. Never did not like meat, the only period I enjoyed and craved meat was when I was pregnant with my son....
Ok but... i could never figure out why ass acne was worse in the summer. It seemed so unfair. Your videos helped me realize it was probably the dairy that i almost never have except icecream in the summer 😑
I have been vegetarian all my life and vegan for 5 years, I am vegan for environmental reasons, although of course, animal rights, health and taste are important too. Do any of your videos talk about being vegan for environmental reasons?
Ive been vegan for 7 years in Japan. Veganism is becoming more popular in japan but mostly as the ONLY ORGANIC RAW HEALTHY SKINNY kind which I feel like is how it was in america too for a bit so I am waiting patiently for normalcy haha. I get a lot of comments that I am not a very thin vegan so why do I do it? And I always say I care about animals not myself haha
I personally still struggle with being vegan - even years later - like what's the point? I haven't had questions answered for that. I just don't feel going back to eating meat is going to help either - as what's the point of going back to something that's terrible.
I can't eat the brave robot, because it doesn't taste like real ice cream (even though those who eat real ice cream says it does), but it's just that I get ill from whey - whether it comes from a vegan or non-vegan form. In the end, it's an animal protein, so it has the same animal-based effects on health.
Makes me really happy when you talk about eating something sweet almost every day. I've gone through a long weird journey of being either health obsessed, disordered, or both (all entangled w/ veganism/reducitarianism) and consistently I feel the most sane when I have a lil somethin' sweet.

@MdoubleHB Wow, I thought your kind was extinct. Douglas Grahams' teachings are a load of BS.
1) Eat enough protein, 2) Don't be hungry, 3) Find tasty and cheap sweets and savory snacks easily available in shops in your neighbourhood, 4) Don't care too much about being perfect, 5) Learn how to cook, 6) Think about non-vegan things that you miss the most and find the best replacements you can (vegan for 10 years, vegetarian for 20).

Nowadays, I have a laptop to protest from, with my writing, my UA-cam videos, and meeting new people online.
there’s actually quite a few benefits from eating frozen instead of fresh!
I'm now on my eighth year and I agree with everything you said.
I like you
I don’t comment often but I just want to say you are the most practical vegans on social media.
Your videos are comforting to me.Thanks for what you do
I like animals but I have absolutely zero desire to go cuddle a pig in a farm sanctuary, I don't care how "clean" or "smart" they are.
I love this! Been vegan for 7 + years, gone vegan after watching you, and I completely agree with all of these points! ❤️
I am with you on the not liking being around large groups of people...vegan or not just not something that I enjoy😏
Teenage boys are generally a pain.. Keep doing you! Don’t let them change you, they are the dumb ones.. ❤️
You're a beautiful person for standing by your ethics.
Hi!
Swayze would you consider writing a book about the philosophical/ethical arguments around veganism ? I'd buy it henny
@@gabriellaang23 thank you !
Liking before i even watched it..because i know it will be quality
I love when you say that eating vegan doesn’t not necessarily mean you are healthier or it will make you not prone to disease . We can currently try to eat better and make healthier choices but it won’t prevent things from still happening that we may not foresee happening . I’m vegan and I enjoy it but I definitely try to steer away from pushing others to do so if they are not called to do so 💜. Health , love , happiness 💜
I appreciate your honesty!
Love the new haircut!
My question is, did you create your own program? Where did you start as far as learning goes? Do you read labels when you shop? Or do you just do the best you can and buy whatever looks healthy? What's your system?
This is EXACTLY why I love you and your channel! I have always felt the same as you for the whole 10 yrs I've been vegan. Although I do try to lose weight using my vegan diet, I never tell anyone that this is my main reason for not eating or using animal products. {{Hugs}}
Ive been vegetarian for 12 years, but could only stay vegan for 3. Taking notes
it would be awesome to see you make a video about your philosophical views on veganism!
2:32 - I'm *completely* with you there - even had someone proved to me, that eating the murdered corpses of certain Animals would actually be beneficial for me, I still will not do that - that's the reason I don't buy the "I'm Vegan but sometimes cheat" nonsense (of the "Vegans for health-reasons", who view this mainly as a diet) - once one realizes, that this is murder, then there is no more possibility for any such doubts: *Thou shalt not kill, period.*
4:41 - Completely agree with you there, too - during the years, I've met (mostly online, Gott sei Dank...) some (stupid, in my own opinion) Vegan fanatics, who would stare at you and say "There is no such thing as 'Vegan Friendly', we must *only* eat at the *purely* Vegan places"... aside from the fact, that, in my HomeTown, this shall only leave me with *one single* Hummus Restaurant to visit - and nothing else, I *know* that eating at the "Vegan Friendly" places does, in fact, *helps* Veganism! :-)
Like you, I also cannot sit at a restaurant, that grills horrors openly, with the horrible smells of death everywhere around me...
@MdoubleHB hello, friend...how's it going?
@MdoubleHB yes??
@MdoubleHB oh! I thought we were done chatting for now. 😊
Another thought-provoking, encouraging video!
I freaking loved those pencil boxes with all of the little compartments and gadgets!
Especially if it was from Sanrio- Sanrio has always had the best little stationary kits, pens & pencils.
I still love those pencil boxes. And Sanrio. Sanrio gives me life. 😆💗
Sharing your Sanrio moment. Hello Kitty!
I have been year for exactly a year today 😊 Your videos pushed me to make the decision and the tips are helping a lot!
Your recipes are honestly helpful and NORMAL, I wish you had a collection of recipes, like an ebook or something
It’s so nice to hear about this from you, I live exactly the same way. This is extremely validating!
BRO I just subbed!!!1!!1
I love being vegan because I feel like the food is a gift and not stolen from anyone. And it's wonderful food!
These are really practical tips! I completely agree. I've been vegan for three years; hopefully I reach twelve years and beyond like you!
what do you mean, you are not an activist?! this channel is the best activism ❤️
Me *Sees Swayze "Intentionally ate dairy cheese so she doesn't waste it.": YES!!!!! Sorry, that just makes me happy. It shows you are human. I know some people are gonna be like WHAAAAAAAAAT??????
That’s not really what she said…
@@annies6719 It was a subtitle. Said she intentionally ate dairy cheese when it came on her taco bell burrito so it wasn't wasted...
"Mmhh ate my neighbours dog didn't want the dog go to waste" Normalise behaviour in commodifying sentient beings is unethical and not vegan
@@ONeill01 Whatever, meatbag
@@nprlisten I'm so hurt 😪
the story about that kid going around school telling you don't believe in god was interesting. where i grew up in finland it could have been other way around. that some kid would go around telling a kid believes in god and other kids might think they are weird.
I quess most people here believe in some sort of higher power but are not religious
If you don't mind, I wanna steal...I'm vegan but I'm not VEGAAAN!!!! This is the absolute perfect way to describe me!
Oh man, I also feel the same way about feeling super different from everyone else. I just have a very different tendencies!
Omg! I can’t agree more! I think u are totally right and what you mentioned is exactly what I do. Thanks for sharing 🥰
I am coming up to 1 year. (Baby Vegan). But I feel farr better eating a whole food plant based vegan diet. I wish there were more Vegan restaurants in my area as I dislike cooking. I do my best.
Same. Summer 2009, also a recovering fruitarian.
You are awesome!! You are really down to earth. I like listening to you, just subscribed!! Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
Video focused solely on Yo-Yo dieting pls!! (love your channel!)
I needed this video!
i been vegan for over 35 years! hah
I like you Swayze, but that last part about being weird reminded me of the video 'girl who's not like other girls' by Caitlin Reilly 😂
Anyway I just thought Plant based foods that boost testosterone would be a good vid for those worried about “soyboying.”
I know you’ve addressed soy and phytoestrogens in the past but idk about this
Is it possible that carbs are more satiating for some people? I can eat 100g of protein a day but don't feel full.
Fibre is also filling, and carbs (if they are whole foods) usually have a lot of it.
Most people thrive off a combination. Fibre, protein and fat.
I think so. I get full off fiber and liquids the most (don't think I'm too healthy, half those liquids are energy drinks)
Great video, thanks for sharing with such sincerity (as always). And we can empathise with the 'weird' point all too well haha
I love your videos. Thanks.
I'm almost the same as you! The only different thing is that I have a non vegan partner and we respect each other and it's great!
please make a video about why you dont like being around animals lol i find that so funny!
i like sweet things too!
Can you do a video on how you get 80 grams a day of protein through vegan sources?
She has done several videos about getting vegan protein, pretty much any what I ate video she adds up her protein and aims for 100 grams.
Aww I love this video so much!
I love your glasses! What brand/style are you wearing?
Funny, I was the weird kid too, but I'm from a very atheist country and was the only one, who believed in God in my class. It's hard for me to imagine it to be the oposite way:))
I'm a health-environmental based vegan. I care about not bothering animals for non-violence and utilitarian reasons. I also eat a lot of junk food, mainly beyond meat.
Basically you're not crazy ;)
Hey Swayze have you checked out Heavenly Fan's youtube channel? she does vegan keto a bit of tricky diet I know. Also have you tried Freekeh grains
I eat Nutritional yeast with B12 almost every day. To me I dont think I would need a supplement. Would I be wrong?
You're fine I eat nutritional yeast regularly and had my b12 checked not long ago and I wasn't deficient
Nope, I do the same and my B12 levels are very high, plus I drink soy milk and consume protein powders with B12 sometimes.
The thing is you're not deficient until you are... its a small insurance policy to just take a supplement.
Number 10.. cannot imagine growing up and being the odd one out for not being religious. In my country it is the norm and you're special if you are religious.
What did your husband think about the raw food thing?
@malvina malvina I'd probably choose a different word in the future.
I maintained being vegan, because of the money and opportunity to grow a vegan world. I do it, because there are people that want to be vegan, but can't because of the world around them - so I create a vegan world for them.
She’s not like other girls 🖤
What's the healthiest animal product?
All if the animal is well raised
Yogurt and some fish (obviously this depends, sugary yogurt or frozen fish sticks are not what I mean)
Maybe it was from sweating. Personally cutting out dairy did nothing for my acne but it can in some cases.
Ass acne. I'm deceased 💀 🤣
I love that shirt!
May I ask what colour and brand that lipstick is?
This is why I love you channel, your down to earth.
can you do/have you done a video on #9 please? :)
I have been vegetarian all my life and vegan for 5 years, I am vegan for environmental reasons, although of course, animal rights, health and taste are important too. Do any of your videos talk about being vegan for environmental reasons?
Love the origin story from one weirdo to another.
God forgive me, I went vegan in high school and was a jackass. Youthful pride
Such good videos!!!!
