@@Kudo_LelouchJudging by this comment, I'm guessing Pc Any% would be "No major Glitches" and any% with F12 (F12%) would be any% allowing major Glitches. Cause idk about you but shutting enemies off with a single keystroke seems like a pretty major glitch and a good reason for a category split. Of course I could be wrong too, idk maybe I should watch the video instead of responding to 3 month old comments lol
This channel is such a gem. I don't speedrun, but I also love documenting my own work and progress on my personal projects. Most people hate doing that, but I love it.
Massively underrated game! I'm enjoying the growing library of obscure runs you're documenting, so much game growth history is hidden away behind low sales stats. I would be lying to say that I know a lot of obscure DOS games, though. I just remember hundreds of games reviewed in NMS I never even saw at the store.
Your videos are criminally underrated! You deserve so much more popularity! Right up there with summoning salt in my opinion. I always get excited when I see an upload from you! Keep up the fantastic work, it will pay off eventually! ❤
Hercules The Legendary Journeys WR holder here - shoutouts to Zenic for not only starting the Starshot speedrun route, but also holding up his end of the swap and doing the first Hercules TLJ world record as well! Great video!
Another absolute masterpiece Osukarui! I love learning about weird games that i had no idea existed. But i am VERY excited for buck bumble because i do know that game
Finally caught up with all your videos. I knew nothing about this game but you really went to great lengths to make routes and skips understandable with the 3D models. I don’t wanna think about how much time and energy those take to make. Very much looking forward to your Buck Bumble video.
As always, amazing editing and narration. Idk what you're doing with being able to get full 3D maps of the games you run but it's such an incredible tool for clarity as a viewer. I genuinely think the "bigger names" in speedrunning UA-camrs could learn a lot from you. I am also jealous and wish I could edit like you lmao
ua-cam.com/video/UtuYP9QgAIk/v-deo.htmlsi=LdPeqhny_5PhuoJb I made this tutorial on how I extract the 3D stuff snd then the rest is just learning how to use blender
You were shouted out on The Fridge by Jimothy Cool and LRXC and I have to say that the praise was incredibly earned, your content is incredible and I can't wait to see what comes next.
Fantastic video man! Great to be a part of the story of Starshot and even more great to cross paths with you dude! This honeslty makes me want to dust off the run and see how much further we can push it!
I'm excited for the video on Buck Bumble, if it is ever in the works, never speedran it but played it a lot as a kid and really wanna see how the history was in your style of video! :D
Great video! I love the structure of your videos and how you visualize everything with 3d models. How do you get the models of the levels, do you make them yourself? Not sure if you've detailed this process somewhere else
Thanks, glad you enjoyed. Often times the 3D models are available somewhere but for this video I had to extract them from the game myself. I used RMG emulator (Rosalie's Mupen GUI) and the GLideN64-SceneRipper plugin to extract the models. I then use blender-import-glr plugin to import the models into Blender, where I create the animations.
Excellent video as always. I wonder have you thought about doing more speedruns of Spiderman (2000) on N64? There have been plenty of skips found within the past year
I think I will probably relearn the game when I make my video about it eventually. I was never happy about my PB so I want to get a somewhat better time. Might be a while until I get to it though.
Can't wait till you get to Tonic Trouble, I barely ever see it talked about outside of obscure subforums of Rayman focused communities, let alone talking about speedrunning it.
My guess with the quit / TV thing is a check is done to disable it during the quit scene. Rather than what should be done which is a check to enable it after the second level. So the player probably _always_ has the TV robot but the game disables it prior to completing the second level. But quitting mid-level complete for the first level interrupts the check to disable it.
Love your videos dude, sorry you had to sit through so much of this game though. It might be one of the worst designed and uninspired 3D platformers on the N64 but it's cool that you found a fun with it through speed running. Hope you get to enjoy Rocket: Robot on Wheels soon, if you're looking to experience an actual N64 hidden gem.
The 3D map you created makes everything so clear and nice. Massive props, it's beautiful
i think he extracted them from the ROM files, but either way its good work!
The production quality here is crazy dude. Keep it up, love these videos!
*See a speedrun doc about a game I’ve never heard of, by a UA-camr I’ve never heard of, ignores everybody I know for an hour in complete bliss*
Haha that is me too
For anyone else curious about the PC version, F12% involves a bug that freezes some enemies and physics when the F12 key is pressed.
Isn't F12% basically any% pc version ?

Love these videos. The visuals and explanations are so good.

This is a very rare game in North America on the N64
I enjoy your videos 👍

Another sick video man. The route/map animations are incredible.

You done very well with making entertaining, informative and intresting videos talking about obsure WR on N64 games. Love this new episode here.
Glad to be even a small part of this games history, such an interesting run with such an interesting history
Great video
These videos are incredibly well made. The visuals are a treat to watch, thanks for all your hard work on these.
Always love seeing your videos pop up on my feed. Just some of the most interesting content in my opinion.

I feel very lucky to have found your channel. Thanks for the top shelf work
How do you make the 3D videos with the in game assets? Seems like a fair bit of work!
ua-cam.com/video/UtuYP9QgAIk/v-deo.htmlsi=LdPeqhny_5PhuoJb I made this tutorial on how I extract the 3D stuff snd then the rest is just learning how to use blender
I must say, your videos are amazing. Keep up the great work! They help me fall asleep

Ah nice, thanks for letting me know!
Amazing video my dude. I'm always looking forward to your stuff. Great style.
Wow, that map-route-showcase and picture in picture look like a lot of effort! Very interesting!

Wow, great quality. I hope you get the viewership you deserve
Hey, Run in a Week sent me over to your channel! I look forward to the next video! You make some great stuff!
Excellent music for this video. I would have never imagined i would hear Khruangbin in a Speedrun history
Arsiano coming back at the end is like a detective in a crime drama coming back 3 seasons after retiring for one last case
love seeing the maps in 3D like that! god this game was frustrating, but fun to route. thanks for the fun memories
the presentation of the routes of the levels is top notch, good work!
Gteat video as usual! I can't wait for your take on speedrunning Buck Bumble

@@tollutollu bro it's got the frenchest sense of humor I've ever seen 😆 love it
I never thought I'd see a SR breakdown video for my all-time favorite N64 game, and yet, here we are.
Another expected banger my guy
Thanks for making this!
I Love that you still use your 56 follower picture :D

I've seen searching this game for almost 10 years
