So, i've watched other famous youtubers of passtrough howtos, they last up to an hour, and you still end up in trial and error state. At the end, you end up going to bed late at night, feeling wasted. This video is so dense and right. Keep on! If by any chance you end up without ideas - I would like to see you creating vGPU in Proxmox for cards that do support it (like 2060 super and similar). There are just a few videos like from Jeff, but old, and way too long. In any case - thank you for great work!
I don't understand why you are stating that the video is no longer useful. I have finally able to make the gpu-passthrough with this guide. Though I had to pause the video whenever needed and write the commands by myself which was very annoying. The web site is working but seems its purpose now is to capture people for consultation. I am a homelab user and just experimenting this. Part of me says to dislike the video but other part of me says the otherwise since you helped me. Hope you will reconsider your decisions for helping people who use this open-source software for personal use.
Fresh installed Proxmox 8.1.4 - everything OK by your tutorial, but when I install my Nvidia GT730 it stuck at loading initial ramdisk, without GT730 loads ok What do I do wrong?
@@brachisaurous well actually that saved a lot of trouble. Having same question why it seemed stuck at "loading initial ramdisk" , but in reality it booted succesfully. Tnx!!
@@brachisaurous actually not, i checked that prox not booting up, it doesn't take an ip address, and I solve that problem: 1. Install Debian 2. Install proxmox on Debian - all works
