I recently bought a 76 V12 XJS, never owned a Jag before but my Father had many. It’s the cheapest car I own but has something the others don’t, it’s fantastic.
I use to own an ‘86 Jaguar XJS with the V-12. Beautiful car and loved it, but had issues finding a mechanic who would work on it and eventually found one, but was difficult to get into shop since he was in high demand. I’ve owned 3 Jaguars; XJS, XE and currently still have my X-Type and they’ve all been very reliable. You just have to take care of them. Beautiful car! Ive always loved the XJS! 👍😎
The car is fantastic
I own the same XJS. A few reoccurring gremlins triggered the check engine light from time to time related to the O2 sensor, but can easily be a fantastic daily driver.
Lovely car and nice clean colour set to a beautiful backdrop. What could be better? Nice that you have managed to buy your dream car I'm happy for you. i hope it provides you with many years of enjoyment and happy memories. I bought a V12 Convertible just over a year ago and absolutely love it. The seats are the most comfortable i have ever had in any of my cars and everyone who has travelled in it can't believe how comfortable it is. Nice home and nice surroundings.

Grats! So beautiful and if you'd not have gotten it you'd regret forever. (I didn't and still the moments when i stand next to such a jaguar stay in my memory forever)
They were infamous for issues/repair costs, but what people forget is you can take care of it and also just have a beautiful car for life.
Good looking XJS there a great car I own a 1995 XJS Convertible with the 4 Litre straight six with 144,350 miles I have had a full service and the front and rear suspension done with new coils and shocks keep an eye on your coolant and you will fine enjoy your Jag Happy New Year best wishes Andy Allen.

It is indeed a dream car. It take a lot to keep these old gals in tip top shape. But that's who they were built for. The Enthusiast that loves Jaguars.
The very early models looked a bit lean at first glance. Then you take a look at them and truly understand the design.
Its sad the the Brits with their Government meddling destroyed the British car industry.
Owned a Jaguar XJS, sold it due to being over exposed in luxury classic cars 😂. Still regret letting it go, one of my all time favorite cars. Enjoy, they’re classy cars, svelte and sophisticated.

94 be one of the last made obviously well maintained V12 5, 3 well balanced engine Lucas fuel injection one dealer did the cannonball run in one and broke the record NY to Longbeach
Oh straight six didn't realise they came out in a six the V12 did cost a lot to service and maintain though

Thanks. Gotta fix a coupe of small issues related to brakes and will be enjoying driving it around the town daily. This will be the daily driver.
