Love your work mate. You and Carney slaying them this year. I do cringe a little when Barra are lifted by their jaw and not supported by a second hand under the belly. Especially the big girls. They swim away but don’t survive. NT Fisheries have research and figures on this which is pretty dramatic.

Personal so far this rod has proven itself. The reel is the most expensive part Tatulion 200 Diawa. I’m going to see the seller over the weekend to see if he has a QR code I can put up so people can make their own choice. Dave if your worried about a croc when your reviving a fish use the lip grip with a good lanyard about a metre long tied to the boat. I just hold the handle and pull them back and forth or in some circumstances tow them along with the electric till they are ready to swim away. That way you dont have to worry about a croc or shark grabbing you by the hand. Also there should be jewies hanging around that area if there are big barra there. Cheers mate from the Darkside.
