Bumped into a couple of times now, balcatta Bunnings then at the marina another time, shows going great 👍

The squid is fine frozen then defrosted but the herring and skippy once frozen and defrosted i wouldn't call fresh. It goes soft and mushy. Still good but fresh is caught and used without freezing it.
Well it was local and days old , hell of a lot fresher than servo bait
@@Saltfix keep it in the fridge if you're fishing within the week. Heaps better than freezing 👌. All good, just some advice from a crusty salty fisho 🙂

Hi Scott, do you use snook as bait targeting snapper? Seems to work for shark and ray only ! 😅
I don’t use snook but know people that do .
Mostly because they are just slimy and awkward to handle, I just put em back
I’ve never had much luck with plastics do you have any scent to them
I always use a home made. Snell right for snapper and dhus 5/0 to 6/0 circle hooks always had great success with bait herring whiting mullet (mulies before they go mushy ) but found herring mullets and squid heads work the best for me

My snapper rod is a Daiwa aird 7ft 5-8kg fishing 20pd braid
Bottom rod is a shimano t curve with 30pd

Got a few things to fix on the tinny found a cracked weld I want to get sorted as well as the sounder .
