I fly to El Salvador a lot. We used to have armed guards in front and back of our transportation from the airport to San Salvador. The American army and the Mexican army can join up together and can easily take down the cartel, but both governments currently are trash so that won’t happen at the moment. Actually MS13 and 18 began in L.A. , 13 and 18 Streets. During the Clinton Admin, many were deported but the Clinton admin did not tell the govt of El Salvador at that time of the gang problem. Since many were minors, laws protecting them were too lenient and allowed them to go back to the streets, commit more crimes, recruit more and allowed the problem to escalate out of control. Bukele offered security, but his trademark has always been a government that confronts the top concerns of it's people, and everyone knew that the number one issue was the security problem. However, when he won the presidency in 2019 the Assembly parties were mostly opposition and had made deals with the gangs many years ago, and so the first step to clean the streets from criminals was to win the Assembly and give the President assemblymen that would support his plan, and that's what happened in 2021 when his party New Ideas won more than 70%. Also in July 2019 he began his plan to eliminate the gangs with #plancontrolterritorial, a 7 phase execution to take gang power away, and to finance, train, equip the police and armed forces, while at the same time boosting their morale. There are still many economic issues to fix from decades of corruption and fund mismanagement before Bukele, but the direction of the country has changed and everyone today has the opportunity to freely choose their path or business without being extorted by the gangs. Even though dollar inflation has affected the country, El Salvador has one of the lowest inflation levels in LATAM, and the lowest in Central America. Thank you for sharing this video, El Salvador today is opening itself to become within a reasonable time, the first economic tiger of LATAM, just like Asia did during the 80's and 90's. That is why President Bukele always mentions Singapore as a model and reference. With God's help it will become so.

There are several photos and a video of him kneeling and praying like a muslim, inside a mosque with his brothers.
Long Live El Salvador Long live our leader!
I love my country now. I came to the USA when I was 19 years old running away from the gans. I’m a US citizen and working as a Nurse but planning to go back home really soon.
Argentina and other countries already sent teams to El Salvador to work and exchange information as a team work, those countries are not loosing time and forgot about pride, why not us?
I went there years ago for a business trip, our liaison carried 3 guns every day leaving his house. EVERY business had armed security, even Pizza Hut. Good on the. President!
I saw the same in Honduras around 20 years ago.
Hi im from el salvador and I love this guy he said the truth about el salvador he made the homework
Love President Bukele and his new prisons
Damn didn’t expect to see you here. Love the videos ❤️
Thank you for all you’ve done for us
People Needed to hear THIS FROM AN OUTSIDER!! Thank you kindly from a Salvadorian Living in Toronto due to all the crimes that happen in the 1980s 🇸🇻🤜🤛 Much Appreciated
I am a U.S. Army veteran. during one of my deployments in the 1990's was with with a tasks force deployed to El Salvador. We with El l Salvador army built medical buildings, schools, etc.
Wow Thank you, thank you ….
@@user-wx1ii2pd5y Thank the U.S. Tax payers for funding the deployment and the U.S. leadership and U.S. Military that had lobby to have work smart with other nations. We have for years done peaceful deployments with medical teams, etc to help other nations. Shame many only know when the dummy U.S. leadership sends us to go wars.
What was it like in the 90s?
@@Yakuzachris10 I was deployed to the far east side of the nation and it was jungle living with a base that hat tents for sleeping, eating, shower, medical. Every day we went off base to work on building. The roads were dirt and steep driving. The people in the villages, towns were peaceful and poverty was all around.
@@mr.g1683 high crime rates back then? Thanks for the info.
Great insights and information! I am Salvadorean national and am US citizen. Proud of what Bukele has done against all odds and even against world human rights organizations who care more about criminals and murderers than hard working citizens. Now, Bukele has an even harder task ahead of him with this economy.
EXCELLENT!!!... I want to visit that country soon!...
Awesome 😎 El Salvador 🇸🇻 awaits your visit
I'm an eight year US Amy Combat Veteran and eight-year California Peace Officer veteran whose family left El Salvador after the war because of the violence. My entire family came to the US legally, thanks to my dad's military service. El Salvador has suffered since the late 70s. I'm glad Bukele is completely changing its image. ES is lucky to have President Bukele!
Great insight from Erik as always.
We love El Salvador and President Bukele
This man knows the truth
😂😂😂😂
I saw the The Salvadorian President's interview with Tucker Carlson. He proudly said he openly prayed with congress for guidance and protection.
Thank you for your feed back on El Salvador i left there 30 years ago it’s so good to hear such good report coming from somebody such yourself
We the People of el Salvador the 92% love President Bukele and We want him at the Ofice for ever, He have proof Integrity and Courage no one else can do what he have done for his People.....
They need to get tuff on gangs here in Oakland ca. I really admire Bukele, he is an amazing leader. I've followed him and is overjoyed for his Salvadorian citizens., from addressing the crime, and remaking the country. The world should be so impressed with him. This was a wonderful video, ty.
It’s impossible in the U.S. The only way it can happen is if the constitution is suspended. We can have tougher sentences but not El Salvador style justice.
It's, "impossible" while people keep voting these corrupt criminals in office. Stop voting blue❗
Bro leave Cali. I was born and raised in SF. I’m saving up to move before the ship sinks.
Great report from Eric Prince. It is good to hear a positive objective report on El Salvador and it's true leader Nayib Bukele from a respected americano.
More.people need to know about this
State Department has a Financial incentive for marking countries Tier 1 danger zones . They get a financial bonus.

If we had an incarceration system here in the US like the one in El Salvador, not for regular criminals but for corrupt politicians, nobody will ever think of leaving the US, says someone who moved back to El Salvador last September.
@fchavez Shut Up!!!! Communist Pig!!!!! Why do you support crime?
I was there last year, traveled all over, and looking into it closely as I'm planning on moving there for retirement. Congratulations, this is the single best report on it I have seen.
As a salvadoreño
THANK YOU SO MUCH MR ERIC
I agree especially violent crimes...separate prisons such as what you showed.
Tech and cyber criminals, no technology, TV, phone, internet.
Limited library, Bible, positive, something to stimulate helping others...
Unfortunately we have guberment officials that need to be in imprisoned for an assortment of crimes...
Thank you for tell what you saw we need people like you to speak out the truth.
I would like to thank' Mr Erick Prince thank's for telling the truth May God Bless you
Excellent Again.
Great report out of El Salvador Mr. prince, thank you and God Bless You, for telling the truth about our little Country.
THANK YOU! Erik for visiting our country and for speak the truth about what is going on in El Salvador we appreciate it!!
Imagine, just imagine, same happens in Mexico...(my Mexican friends will cry w/ joy....)
Sadly the cartels have too much money I don’t see how it’s possible
@@Feedback406it’s possible. The American army and the Mexican army can join up together and can easily take down the cartel, but both governments currently are trash so that won’t happen at the moment. Cartel is responsible for Americas drug epidemic, so America definitely has a right to fight the cartel since so many towns and cities have like dead addicts lying around in the streets.
@@VictornHartI'm sure that if it wasn't for some three letter agencies of USA, there wouldn't be a gang problem...
MEXICO IS GETTING SO DANGEROUS TO GO OBRADOR DOESN'T DO NOTHING PROTECTING HIS CITIZENS
@Feedback406 excuses that's our problem. Sometimes it's irritating. I was like.that too but changed my mentality
Thanks to God, President Bukele and the security forces of our country, today we breathe freedom.
Excellent interview. Bravo
Surf 🏄♀️ El Salvador 🇸🇻 😎
I survived those dark days. I am alive.
WELCOME BACK TO EL SALVADOR MR PRINCE, I'M SALVADOREAN BORN, AMERICAN CITIZEN , I SUPPORT NAYIB BUKELE FOR MANY YEARS MY COUNTRY EL SALVADOR NEVER BEEN BETTER LIKE NOW ,I LIKE IT NAYIB BUKELE HOW IS TRANSFORM EL SALVADOR 🇸🇻, GOD BLESS EL SALVADOR, GOG BLESS AMERICA 🇺🇸
FSLN supported the FMLN during the 80’s. Most Nicaraguans don’t want to have anything to do with the FSLN nor with the Ortega’s family. I personally want Nicaragua to become a free and thriving country where the rule of law is also respected.
Excellent report!
Agreed 100%. I have been traveling to ElSal since 1993. I was in San Salvador the last week of this past March. Nayib has made this country safer than it has ever been. ❤
Thank you sr for coming by to my country and tell people the truth GB America
These policies should be implemented widely in all countries with gang problems.. It would solve so many problems including immigration to the USA and Europe
Nice interview Mr. Erik Prince report is 109 % correct.
109...😅
Excellent interview 👏👏👏👍👍
Thanks 🙏🏻 you both are very valuable to us listeners

I was in El Salvador on a Habitat for Humanity build shortly after the civil war. When we landed at the airport there were guards walking around on the roof top with M16s. We built 3 room cinderblock homes outs side the city of Usulután. Our hotel had barbed wire along the wall around the hotel with armed guards. It was a beautiful life changing experience. It is so good to see the changes it is a beautiful country with beautiful people
We need that in the US 😮
MAYBE UNDER TRUMP'S ADMINISTRATION
No way that’ll mean the end of the constitution. Next they can come after anyone they deem an enemy including Trump supporters
"getting wrapped up immediately", that's the power of good society and community. The good guys are winning in El Salvador. I don't think anyone thought it would ever be possible.
Good video I learned a lot
A good friend of mine, and former drinking buddy also came up from El Salvador in the early 1990's. He did get his green card, and worked in Southern California for many years. He is going home.
I'm going to go visit when he gets settled. He wants to introduce me to his younger sister.
🤞
I'm going to need to work on my Spanish. I speak bar room Spanish... need to improve my fluency.
Thank you Eric Prince!
Excellent interview, excellent analysis
Probably my favorite politics/news podcast, hope to see you in the next cabinet

I like to watch this kind of videos. I'm one of the Salvadorean that just moved to El Salvador after being in the state for so many years thanks to the president bukele.
The US lacks the political will to do anything that resembles the right thing. Winston Churchill had us figured out back in the forties when he said: You can always count on the US to do the right thing…after they’ve tried everything else!
The US is a terrorist state run by the tribe
Also, thank you Mr.Prince and the interviewer Mark Serrano.
Imagine, 70K murderers in one spot!

Great episode guys...I loved it!!
I didn't know Erik had his own YT channel. Cool. Subbed up.
Wow great work
Erik is the man.
Incredible, good for Salvador. Law in order ❤
Law in order religion is not welcome
@@BigFists2024America let go of religion and look what’s happening to America. There are 900 genders, high crime rate, 2 trashy presidential candidates, corrupt politicians, woke propaganda, mental health is on decline, you’re kids are dressing up like gangsters and smoking pens, inflation, immigration problem, your women wear clothes that cover 16 percent of their body, the homeless population is increasing, NYC is running out of police to fight crime, houses cost half a million, veterans are most likely to end up homeless after their service, drug epidemic, and you’re schools and public facilities are becoming unsafe because of high increase violence from mentally ill people. Not a good idea to let go of religion huh😂
It's "EL SALVADOR". With "El" preceding. El Salvador it's the official name of the country.
Prince forgot the GOD part of this whole story. When you round up 70,000 + sociopathic murderers without one single drop of innocent blood..that is nothing less of a miracle, and in EL SALVADOR we give thanks to GOD in good times and in bad times!
Bukele is awesome and I love surfing El Salvador and I have been 3 times since last summer.
This is fantastic
That was a lot of great info thank you for sharing. The people of El Salvador deserve the chance to live their lives free from this terror they've lived in these last few decades. I am Mexican-American and I hope and pray that things continue to improve for the Salvadorians and that Mexico follows the same path with clearing out the corruption and to purge the narcos.
Thank you
..."the volcano will take the prison with it"...
Always nice to have a trump card, in this case I might speculate someone on the inside has someone on the outside monitoring volcanic activities.
"PUFF". Come magic dragon, come 😁😁😊
The last eruption of that volcano was more than 1700 years ago. Unfortunately the maras will be ok in that place for a long, long time
Bukele is a true believer in God!
