GIANT thanks for the post, Did you have to buy a catalog to get into the room, and if so, how much, all up? Interesting how the auctioneer got Shelby to 20,000,000. Or is it possible Old Shell just had his smart up to get a snap, and accidently bought the car?
We had to register as bidders to get access credentials. Not sure what happened with Shelby...but definitely the right name!
There's not many of those knocking around, for a seller they didn't mention the service history, may of got little bit more 🙄😄
the service records were available for inspection...though you probably needed to prove you could bid millions before seeing them
You do need to provide financials for what you’re intending to bid on. Sotheby’s couldn’t be any more helpful in assisting you in the acquisition process. And of course they have beautiful cars available at many price points including some very affordable. This is such a special car at for what it is and I think great value at this price. I think we’ll see it at various events around the world in the coming years.And I’m sure it’s been maintained by the best specialists in the world, and quite possibly Ferrari themselves. Magic! I wonder if the Shelby bidding was related to Carroll? Does anyone know? Thanks for sharing this! 👌 .. 😃 .. ✌️
