You two compliment each other buddy’s like Tosh don’t come often in a lifetime. Wolfy did well you and he did some sweet bonding. And Tosh, it was a pleasure to meet you.
Great canoe trip. Wolf is such a beautiful dog. Very beautiful scenery. Looks so peaceful and relaxing on the water. You and Tosh have the best times. RIP to Tosh's dog Cooper.

It was very sad when Tosh posted his video that Cooper was very Ill and had to cross the rainbow bridge , I know I had tears he was such a great dog all around for outdoor adventures , " Happy to see Tosh came out with Wolfie and you." Good to see you Tosh. and thanks Joe. Beautiful shoreline and place to pitch the tent , Supper looked tasty ill have to try that nice n easy. what an awesome first canoe trip of the season,.

You're not big on thinking are you? That dog almost flipped his canoe and that wasn't even bad stuff. If you want one so bad why don't you go buy one. Put a little keg of rum on his collar and go ride the Roaring Rapids at Six Flags

Doug mostly does wood carving, has always had a full time job. He’s about ten years older, says he has many aches and pains. Kids, grandkids. Great guy..

Loved this, Joe! We make this exact same canoe trek each year...sometimes we make our way all the way down to Iron Bridge, other times we pull out at Pigpen or the little campground just downstream. This is possibly our favourite river! Wolf is really becoming a great tripping pup! Sad he didn't get the chance to learn from Coop, but he sure took a shining to Tosh 😊
It was nice to see Wolfie being a good boy. He'll mature into a good dog yet. The Siberian in him makes him pretty rambunctious. I loved to see him making you happy. Great vid.

You should try the waterproof gps tag for the pup! Will help a lot if you do lose him.. also the beep/vibrate collars work awesome for training!

I LIKE that style of a tent with a screened area separate from the vestibule. The dual vestibule opening is just right for dealing with wind from different directions

I went out the last four days of March down here in Tennessee. We had two very cold nights also. It was 30 and 33 degrees F.

Tosh, in America we call those Frito Pies. We use more like chili than just ground beef. My favorite lunch the day after I make chili.
Beauty river to take an outing on! Certainly would be an awesome thing to do. Nice canoe too! Wolf handled himself quite well on those rapids! It would have been nice to see him & Cooper traipsing the shoreline together. Going to have to try the Walking Tacos, can certainly see that as a Scout favorite!

Down here in the states we call it a frito pie,
growing up in oklahoma in the 60s . we called that frito pies .
Looks like a very enjoyable camping trip beautiful area . best to the family.
I make a meal called Haystacks with the same ingredients, but the Fritos and all go on a plate. Good stuff.
In Tornado Alley, we called that Frito Pie, but we didn't stuff it with anything but chili con carne and cheese. That fully packed bag looked tasty! It was a popular County Fair Food in the fall, because you could walk around with it, and keep your hands warm.
How on earth did y'all get sun burned? At this time of year, the angle of the sun is too low for the intensity of the radition that causes sun burn. Oh, and being that far north reduces the angle and the radiation, even more. I do not get it.
Lookat dat meat, boi! I heard that! Alas, we don't hear much from Scrambled O, these days. He had some major life changes, from what I understand.

I use Chili Cheese Fritos when I want a taco salad. They're the PERFECT crunch/taco shell flavor for a salad. I bet they'd make a good walking taco... Err... Talking Waco, too!
So beautiful man. I love watching your camping trips like this. I can't do em anymore so it's the next best thing. I will say my sphincter clenched hard watching wolfie in the rapids lol.
Love the early adventure. I know you’ve been doing this for a long time. One tip I would suggest trying is putting down a peace of carpet or thing foam mat for wolfy. My dog use to do just what he did sit up or move around and like you already know it can be a hand full quick with a big dog shifting weight.
Since I’ve put in the floor mat from my jeep my dog just lays down in the roughest water makes for a much more enjoyable paddle.

I have an older staffie that I feel will sink like a rock if she goes in...leary of taking her out...waiting 4 much more warmer water temps to try her in my rec kayak..I really want to take her on a 2 day trip but am leary of her sinking life a rock..some dogs do that..I'll have to do practice runs along tge shore..

Walk’in tacos very similar to what some call haystacks or Mexican haystacks, except in stead of the ground beef you use chili: bed of Fritos, chili, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes,guacamole, sour cream, and sliced black olives.
Sad about Cooper, he was a really good dog. I always say dogs are a time bomb of heartache but, they are worth it! On the other hand Wolf was a lot of fun to watch. I really like the camping and canoe videos. cool tent, cool boat, and cold water. Definitely going to try the Fritos walking Taco!
